Warriors of Steel: Hikari Nakano vs Haganehime

Hikari literally had no idea what had hit her, well not literally, she knew what had hit her. Or more specifically who. It was just so out of nowhere she may as well have had no idea. But no, Himeko’s skull must have been the source of her nickname since it rocked her. Touching the spot on her forehead Hikari winced softly from the spike of pain from a spot which would undoubtedly become a bruise later.

Looking up with a glare at her opponet who had barely made it to her feet ahead of her. Tsking as she caught her eyes Hikari pushed herself up as well, getting to her feet significantly quicker than her opponet due to her legs still being relatively fresh as opposed to her opponet. Getting to her feet she glared at her opponet and steadily approached her, methodically and purposely. As she drew closer she raised her arm up in the air and without a word threw her arm forward for a forearm smash into Himeko’s chest!

It took a moment for Hikari to get to her feet, giving Himeko a moment to catch her breath and collect herself, giving a small smirk at the sight of her recoiling from the headbutt. Not exactly a move she wanted to repeat, but it had done its job. Though it didn't keep her Hikari down for long.

"Tch," Himeko clicked her tongue in return, narrowing her eyes at the girl. Not that she wanted the headbutt to be a knockout hit, but more time to recover would had been welcomed. And Hikari got up fast and came running even faster, slamming into Himeko with her forearm. "Grh!" Already on damaged legs, Himeko buckled for a moment, staying on her feet for the initial impact before being sent flat on her back.

As Hikari charged forward she was already mentally and physically preparing for whatever counter attack her opponet may lash back with. If there was one thing she bad learned in this bout so far it was that Himeko was the type to make Hikari pay in blood anytime she took a step forward in the match. Something she’d have to overcome with sheer grit. As her arm struck true against Himeko the dark haired lightweight would immediately pull her arm back and get in a defensive position.

But it appeared to be unneccessary since Himeko was sent to hee back from her blow! Narrowing her eyes a bit Hikari lowered her arms and sent a rather... disdainful look to the girl below her. ”On you’re back again already? Tsk you must be made of flimsy steel.” Hikari said coldly to the girl before turning and charging at the ropes, rebounding off them and back at her opponet, leaping up to go for a splash from up above!

Hikari ran right past Himeko, putting up her defensive for only a moment before looking down at the Steel Princess in disgust, her cold words making Himeko glaring daggers at Hikari. She dared to doubt her skill? Her resolve? It was gravity and physics that took her down, not this damn brat's effort. And whether a taunt of an honest assessment, Himeko wasn't going to take it without action.

Just as Hikari turned to run back to the ropes Himeko shot right up, rolling to her feet just in time to take the Scion's full splash chest-first. "Ghn!" As much as Himeko hated to admit it, she couldn't take the full weight of her opponent. Her legs were still sore and light, and she took Hikari's splash before she could even brace herself, falling right back to the ground with a thud. But she was far from knocked out, and too enraged by the Scion's taunt to let herself be dazed. "Flimsy, huh?" The spiteful snarl was all she offered Hikari before making her move. With the two on the ground she started to try and get her legs around Hikari's waist and arms over her neck to start choking her out!

Hikari didn’t care for the disdain that drenched her words as she adressed Himeko, the way her words may be taken not at all coming to mind. Even if they did it wouldn’t phase her. Both she and her opponet were warriors, their feelings didn’t matter, all that mattered was she could put the girl down, and if damaging the girl’s psychology would help in keeping her down than so be it.

Turning and running at the ropes she would bounce off them and throw herself into the air, descending down upon her oppknet. As she did so however she would widen her eyes a moment as she saw Himeko actually on her feet! Crashing into her opponet there was a brief moment of shock and panic as she knew how disastrous this could be if Himeko managed to counter.

Thankfully however it seemed that Himeko was unable to support her weight. Owing to either the damage Hikari had done to her legs with her boston crab, or just to Hikari potentially being slightly bigger. It was hard to say but no matter the reasoning Himeko had fallen with Hikari on top, but before she could try and capitalize Himeko had a chip she was eager to knock off her shoulder.

”Agh!” Hikari grunted out as she felt her throat constricted by her opponet and immediately she reached up grasping at the arm with a gag. Feeling Himeko’s legs begin to wrap around her Hikari immediately begsn struggling and squirming, attempting to make ot as difficult as possible for her opponet to secure a grip around her. As she did so Hikari would start to send elbows behind her to try and weaken the grip Himeko had already gotten around her neck.

Himeko made sure her choke was as tight and harsh as she manage as Hikari fell on top of her. There was no way in hell she was going to let this girl continue riding high without yanking her down a few steps first. The small bit of shock she got out of the Scion was a nice bit of feedback, hearing her gagged grunt even better, but it did little to satisfy the Princess's anger. Payback was a bitch, and Himeko would make sure Hikari paid for that taunt in full. With interest.

"Urgh! Rgh!" Of course, Hikari wasn't making it easy for her with the constant elbows. The Scion wanted out, and she wanted Himeko to struggle with every second she was able to keep choking her. But Himeko gritted her teeth tight and kept her opponent pulled into the chokehold, tightening her legs around Hikari's waist to make a decent bodyscissor as her chokehold slowly started loosening from all of Hikari's squirming. Okay you damn brat, let's see you keep struggling after this! She started to loosen her chokehold, making just a bit of space between Hikari's neck and the side of her face. Not to break the hold, hell no. Once Himeko had an opening she would use her free hand and make a fist, moving to slam it right into Hikari's ear and rattle her skull further! If Hikari was going to make Himeko tank elbow shots, then the Princess would answer her in kind with a beatdown of her own.

The squeeze was really starting to make Hikari light headed from how long it was held on against her and it only seemed to be tightening more and more. However Hikari wasn’t one to back down. Not at all. So she immediately began fighting back, throwing elbow after elbow behind her onto her opponets side to make her loosen her grip. Thankfully this strategy was proving effective as soon she was feeling some room around her neck and it was becoming easier to breathe. But before anything else she suddenly took a shot to the side of her face! ”Ugn!” She cried out in pain from the blow, instinctively holding her ear from the hit while wincing in pain. But in spite of this she gritted her teeth and with one arm grabbed Himeko’s arm that wrapped around her neck, pulling on it to try and break free. Meanwhile she braced herself for more blows to come courtesy from Himeko. In fact she attempted to push her chin down on Himeko’s arm over her throat in an attempt to help push it out of the way while using her other arm to guard her face!

"Tch," Looks like trying to knock some damn sense into this girl was the wrong strategy. The moment Himeko started giving a taste of her own medicine she took advantage, snatching at Himeko's choking arm and refusing to let it go. Hikari wanted out of this position, and Himeko had little to prevent that as her chokehold weakened. But if it was any solace those goddamn elbows finally slowed down, and Himeko still had a free hand to take attack while Hikari was preoccupied with protecting herself.

It was time for an all out offensive.

Himeko paused her punches for a moment, sucking in a breath and before steeling herself. Okay. Let's see how hard that body is! And she continued her punches, now putting as much strength and windup as the limited space between the two would allow, focusing on Hikari's blocking arm. If this woman wanted out, she'd get it after Himeko turned that arm into powder.

Hikari growled and grunted as she held tightly onto Himeko’s choking arm, determined to not let her continue to squeeze her. Unfortunately as with most things against Himeko in this match one step forward was another back in another direction. In this case now that her hands were occupied holding off Himeko’s arm there was nothing stopping the girl’s second limb from laying blow after blow to her arm making Hikari wince as her arm quickly began growing numb from pain. Knowing that they couldn’t remain in this position for long Hikari took a deep breath to control herself before pushing back with her leg attempting to shift her weight to the side and start momentum to roll them towards the ropes. If successful, Hikari would attempt to bring the two outside of the ring entirely and straight down to the floor below to hopefully break the two up!

Himeko continued punching away at Hikari's arm, her eyes focused on the target in front of her. Every pained grunt she got from the girl told her she was doing damage, and she refused to stop now. She had every intent to turn this girl's arm into dust and make her regret standing against her.

But then, Himeko felt herself start to move.

Hikari wasn't jerking her body around or anything. It seemed she was mostly just trying to keep her face from meeting Himeko's fist. But... the weight had shifted, and the two were taking a quick tumble to the side. Himeko had to halt her punches as they rolled, Hikari keeping a tight hold on Himeko's arm and refusing to let her go. Shit. This wasn't a desperate attempt to get Himeko to stop, it was a planned maneuver. And the Princess felt her back at the edge of the ring-

"Waa-!" Right before falling off it, hitting the ground below on her side with little to cushion in impact.
