Morgan Frey vs. Karla "Ray" Reinhardt - Ceaseless Struggle

Still on all four, Morgan tried to regain her bearing, hoping that she could recover as quickly as possible. She knew that her opponent was at the top of the turnbuckle, and she had exposed herself before her, putting herself in danger. But her recovery was too slow for her liking, and as she tried to gather her thoughts, her opponent made her move as she leaped off the turnbuckle, looking to hit Morgan with a diving knee drop aimed at the back of her head.

"UAGHHH!!"

The hit left Morgan absolutely rattled, and she slumped on the mat, no longer on all four. Her head throbbed painfully thanks to the attack, and she became a vulnerable target for Karla to play with. And then, she felt Karla grabbing onto her purple hair, and she was forced to look at her face, their eyes meeting with each other. Morgan had her brow furrowed, and despite the pain that she was currently seeing, in addition to the fact that she was seeing double thanks to the attack to her head earlier, she decided to let out the snarkiest reply that she could manage.

"...Y-you talk too much."

The match seemed firmly in her palm after the last attack, her unhumbled ego at its zenith as Karla toyed with her opponent. Hearing them speak for the first time brought strange satisfaction to warrant a grin, breaking into a short laugh as that grip in Morgan’s hair got tighter and tighter, a subtle punishment for their snark to remind them who was in control.

“Yes, you’re absolutely right.” She spoke upbeat, continuing the short laugh for a little while longer before climbing up to a knee. She looked out to the crowd with a roll of the eyes, slowly pulling on her opponent’s hair to make them obedient to Karla’s demand. She’d also throw leisurely slaps with her right hand, making well on her intent to toy with Morgan by punishing a singular cheek. Karla hoped to pull them to a standing position, setting her gaze back on Morgan and walking them back to the centre of the ring.

“Silence me then!”

A taunt followed by a reeled back right hand, fingers curled into an ironclad fist. She screamed, throwing the blow that seemed destined for her unfortunate foe but coming a hair’s length short from the goal. Releasing Morgan’s hair, she pulled her left hand back, then thrust it forward to poke Morgan in the eyes with two lithe fingers. If the full tactic prevailed, Karla would play off her ploy by turning around, lurching forward a little with a winced expression, whilst holding her right hand.

Morgan maintained her defiance to her opponent despite her disadvantageous position. She glared at Karla even as the redhead continued tugging at her hair, forcing her to follow whatever demand she had. She couldn't even stop Karla from slapping her cheek, and all she could do at the moment was to endure this humiliation, hoping that she could find an opening that she could use to turn things around in her favor.

Dragged to the center of the ring, Morgan saw that Karla was about to throw a punch to her face. She braced herself for the strike, but she didn't expect to have her eyes poked by her opponent's fingers. "AAHH!!" Morgan cried out in pain, falling down onto the mat and bringing her hands to her eyes. While she might not be blinded by this, the damage dealt would leave a huge handicap on her. And it seemed that her opponent was wily enough to use this kind of deception without the referee knowing what was going on.

She feigned a stagger towards the ropes, tumbling against them and slumping her arms along the leading rope. Then she polished her posture, standing narrow as her hands slid across ropes with an impish sneer to complete her ploy. Observing over her shoulder, she altered her glare from the baffling referee, scratching his head and stewing on what happened; and her waning partner in pain, who erected joy in Karla’s heart to watch her collapse, calling for further punishment with a cry.

To not accommodate is foolish; so she unhanded the ropes, backstepping passively until she stood at Morgan’s side, peering downward. Standing with her arms crossed, she stooped forward to have a better look at them; hoisting her boot over their face, seeking to press her heel against Morgan’s mouth; applying pressure while wrenching her ankle back and forth. A quiet laugh ensued if remained uncontested, but the dogging of the referee promptly switched her tone. She reacted with an eye roll, leaping in a twist. Her frame went horizontal, completing her aerial spin and cocking her elbow, attempting to execute an elbow drop right across Morgan’s face.

Morgan was on the mat, trying to rub the pain out of her eyes after getting them poked by Karla earlier. She was in a dangerous position at the moment, and as she remained on the mat, her opponent made her way towards her before she pressed her heel against her mouth, making Morgan's situation even more difficult. It was thanks to the referee that Karla stopped doing that, but it didn't mean Morgan was out of danger now.

She still remained on the mat, making her an easy target for Karla. As for Karla, she decided to deliver her next attack in the form of an elbow drop aimed to her head, and the moment Karla's elbow made contact with her head, she screamed out in pain, and she ended up having to clutch her head, moaning miserably as she tried to nurse the pain. This left her utterly defenseless before her opponent, who would surely take advantage of her weakened state.

Another scream and elation swelled, rolling herself to lie above Morgan’s head. The damage applied to Morgan's head appeared to be piling up, nursing her worries enough to place an elbow on the ground, resting her cheek within her latex-covered palm with a self-assured grin. She brought her arm around, her eyes falling to her wrist like she checked the time, faking a yawn. It became a goal of hers to rile up her opponent, who seemed to spend more time screaming than anything, it was depressing for her to witness!

“Is every lightweight this easy to play with, or is it just you?”

She perked a finger, then delved a hand into Morgan’s hair. She worked to tug her opponent to a seated position, taking a moment to ponder her next move by looking to the crowd. The answer she mustered involved her arm trying to coil around Morgan’s neck, locking it on her other bicep. Then the hand in her hair was used to push Morgan’s head forward, hoping to apply a rear-naked choke. In contrast to her small stature, she constricted with a fair amount of strength; toned muscle which imprinted itself on Morgan’s neck through her ring attire. And every squeeze now brought them closer, until she became pressed up against Morgan’s back, Karla’s head just lingering above her opponent’s.

Morgan moaned in pain as more damage was piled on her body, and it seemed that Karla was taunting her even more. Even the normally stoic Morgan was irked by this. Still, with everything that she had taken so far, it was extremely hard for Morgan to get up from this, and Karla would be free do to whatever she wanted to her at this point. Sure enough, she was then pulled up into a seated position before Karla put her into a rear naked choke, and the effect was immediate.

"Aaghhh... kkhhhh..."

Besides being unable to breathe, the rear naked choke also cut off the flow of blood to her brain, and Morgan began to feel lightheaded. She knew that if this continued, she might end up losing her consciousness. So, in her desperate attempt to break free, she would try to pry those arms off her neck, hoping to get her opponent to release her. Tears began to well in her eyes as she attempted to free herself from the choke that she had been subjected into.

“Groaning doesn’t answer my question.”

Having your opponent neutralized and helpless in your clutch made it all too easy for her to torture their ears with her voice. An endless slog to inspire anger, perhaps prolong this fight by seeing them slip into a rage, yes, she’d like to see that out of the stoic bastion Morgan fancied herself. A choke offered just that, a threat that could end the match if left unattended. It was only natural to squirm and writhe, the struggle was all too tantalizing, albeit not as soothing as a clean knock out.

But Morgan’s desperate efforts worked to weaken the choke, forcing her fingers into the material covering her bicep, but still slipping inch by inch. She gritted her teeth and pushed forward with her feet, trying to leverage her position by forcing Morgan to lurch over. Yet it became unnatural to keep the hold, and ultimately choose to release Morgan before she could muster anything else. Forced to improvise, she quickly yanked her arms away from Morgan and tried to club the top of Morgan's head with an elbow. Then she’d crouch, enveloping Morgan’s waist with her arms and interlocking her hands at the front. A tight squeeze set in, hoping to instil only further discomfort as Karla sought to bring them both to a stance.

Everyone knew what was coming, as Karla let out a yell and tried to execute a german suplex. "HAAAAHH!!"

Then if done correctly, she'd hold the bridge formed in her back, making this an attempted pinfall!

Despite her predicament, Morgan would keep trying to loosen the rear naked choke, hoping to free herself so that she could think clearly again. Eventually, Karla was forced to release her from the hold, but it didn't mean she was going to let her go just like that. Upon releasing her from the rear naked choke, Karla then clubbed her elbow at the top of Morgan's head.

"AUGHH!!!"

The blow was enough to stun Morgan even more. As her head throbbed, Morgan was unable to stop Karla from wrapping her arms around her waist before she was hoisted up and thrown into the mat. Morgan couldn't even scream as she sailed through the air before landing right on the back of her shoulders and head. "ARGHHH!!!"

Body folded, with her legs dangling right above her face and her backside sticking up in the air, Morgan was then put into a bridging pin by Karla, and the referee came over and started counting for the pin. Morgan was disoriented, but she still could hear the sound of the referee counting for the pin. Fighting through her headache, she would try to buck her legs.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

And after the count of two, she would be able to do so, breaking the pin. She would then try to twist herself to the side, hoping to release herself from Karla's grasp. Her body was in pain, and it would take a while for her to recover. And at this rate, Karla would not give her such a luxury, considering that she could take advantage of her current state.

Successfully landing her German Suplex, thinking she could sneak in a win, Karla shut her eyes in hopes for the bell to follow the strikes against the mat. But to her bewilderment, Morgan kicked out, causing her bridge to fail and Karla to roll onto her stomach. Having her heart skip a beat, she grabbed at her own hair, glaring through the needles that curtained her face. It seemed like Morgan wasn’t done yet, which chewed on her nerves like shorted wires. After all, winning is what she cared about, that and a good fight. So she instead pitted her frustrations at the referee, giving a stink eye just as she got back on her feet. She swept back her hair, huffing like a bull as she strode over to the referee, and placed a finger on their chest; pushing them back with repeated shoves to their shoulder.

“Couldn’t count just a little faster, huh?! Huh?! She could’ve had a nap, checked her Twitter - THEN have the rest of the day to kick out!”

And at the end of her tirade, she had the referee against the ropes on the other side of the ring, raising their hands as Karla finally backed off to resume the match at hand. She walked over to Morgan’s side, then stepped over her body so she was looming over her back.

"Come on, Morgan Frey. I'll show everyone here that you're just a punching bag."

Two hands reached to control Morgan by the hair, hoping to raise her to her feet and walk her towards the corner. She’d smash Morgan's face against the turnbuckle, then release them with a laugh. But that was only the warm-up for her onslaught, as Karla grabbed their shoulder to force them to turn around, only to deliver a vicious left hook primed for their jaw.
