Cheyenne was practically ragdolling Kayla who was struggling to even keep upright at this point when she had the Full Nelson locked in. When the Hawk Strike sent her crashing to the mat, Black Rock had a more satisfied expression on her face. It was subtle, but it was there. The Chieftess was still more or less fresh in this match despite having been in there for the majority of it. Deanna would then hold out her hand as she stood back up and then said, "Hey, let me have a minute with her."

The Native American crossed her arms, giving her partner a questionable look. "Are you certain?"

"Oh, yeah. Totally. See, I want to do something cool now, since that redhead basically screwed over my chance to get cool. Because I deserve to look cool, you know? And you've gotten to look cool the entire time. And I think we need to balance that out, because you know I can be cool too and--" Deanna was cut off by a tag onto her shoulder from Cheyenne who seemed like she had heard enough. With a blank expression on her face, Duncan then fired a thumbs up at her partner. "Got it! Watch in awe!"

With that, the platinum-haired member of the team got into the ring and then lined up Kayla as she lay on the mat before simply walking over and then forcing her to her feet. "So, I didn't get a chance to kick your ass--probably the blame of your partner. Really actually just super mad at her, believe it or not. So if it feels like I'm taking it out on you, really sorry for that. I kind of am. But anyway, that's a lot to say to explain this punch to the face." And with that, Deanna would throw a mighty punch at Kayla, attempting to wear her down so she could lift Kayla up for a suplex... only to spin her around and then attempt a Sitout Front Suplex on her opponent, trying to show off a little! It was about looking cool, after all.

Kayla had been off to a less than stellar start so far. Even if Cheyenne had the size advantage, Kayla was still cocky enough to feel like she could handle her. But considering she was now crumpled on the mat, her arms splayed out at her sides as she panted wearily for breath, that wasn't looking to hold true. If Cheyenne wanted to push her luck, Kayla wasn't sure if she could get up from this easily, and with her partner out of commission, the match could soon come to an early halt.

As Deanna's banter cut in, however, Kayla looked up - groggily, but still with a smile on her face. It looked as though this was going to buy her some time to collect herself, even if her limbs felt too hot and heavy to move much at this point. When Kayla did rise, it would be at Deanna's mercy, as the platinum-haired woman dragged her to her feet. All she could do was groan and huff through her teeth. "Do you...ever...shut up..." she murmured amidst Deanna's stream of consciousness. But Deanna delivered, planting a punch right into Kayla's face that caused her to buckle and go weak at the knees, falling back with a groan. And then, she could easily scoop her up into a hard-hitting front suplex!

The crowd gasped and cheered at such an impressive display, much as Deanna had hoped for. It was far less pleasant for Kayla, who flopped back on the mat with a canvas-shaking thud, her limp body tumbling over toward the ropes.

The punch and then front suplex was done impeccably well, sending the battered Kayla directly down into the mat. In her sitting position, Deanna Duncan yelled out, "Whooop! The Diamond kicking it into high gear!" She then proceeded to do a dance on her butt, wiggling on the mat as she pumped her arms. "Buuuuuut... got to be real with you, babe. Still smarting from that cloverleaf."

Then, Deanna grabbed hold of Kayla's arm, beginning to tug her into the middle of the ring. "Good form, though. Super good. Would have been impressed if my spine wasn't compressing into a horrible pop," continued the rambling performer, making sure that Kayla was on her front. "But now, I think I need to make that body pop. ...Not like, in the sexual sense. But I mean, I guess don't rule it out? I don't know. I need it build up for it. I'm not like one of those girls, but I'm one of those girls if it's the right girl," continued Deanna, moving to drive her knee into the base of Kayla's spine.

"It's not like I'm a slut. Don't shame that. It's just more like... I like to have fun, sure. Just not with anyone. I have standards. A girl likes a little romance, you know what I'm saying?" rambled on Deanna, who was then beginning to lace her fingers under Kayla's chin. "Not important though. Not the time. Time and place. Time for tapouts. Yank." And with that last remark, Duncan would then attempt to tug back Kayla's chin, hoping to lock her in a punishing chin lock while bending the girl's back at a rough angle!

Laying flat on her back as she stared up at the ceiling, all Kayla could do was take in ragged breaths as she tried to recenter herself. Her body was sore, and she was too tired to convince any movement into her aching muscles. All she could do was look over and listen to Deanna as the platinum-haired girl celebrated her win, her mouth running at the speed of a passenger jet. Kayla groaned in frustration; being this sore was bad, but she could do without the soundtrack. If this was what Cheyenne had to deal with, she thought, she had sympathy for her.

Deanna didn't shut up as she dragged Kayla to the center of the ring and rolled her onto her front. The Californian groaned through clenched teeth out of frustration as much as pain. "I get it, I get it-" she began, but her retort was quickly cut short when Deanna drove a knee into her back!

"GAH-!" Kayla hissed and spat as her body recoiled from the impact, leaving her wide open as Deanna hooked her hands under her chin and pulled back. Now the pain on Kayla's spine came even harder, as she was being wrenched backward into a C shape. Sweat beaded on her brow and she clenched her teeth tight, hearing the popping noises of her vertebrae. She glanced back and forth around the ring. In the center like this, she wouldn't have much luck trying for a rope break, and she didn't know how long she could last. As her eyelid twitched anxiously, all Kayla could do was hope that Ash would get back up soon...

The hold was locked in expertly by the surprisingly talented Deanna Duncan, who just seemed to more or less casually keep stretching Kayla with her chin lock. "...But anyway, what's up with Cali? Like, you seem really proud of being from Cali. Am I missing something? Usually people don't love being from there, you know? And not because it's not a nice place. Because it is. It's wonderful. But... man, the people there. Maybe it's people who come from Cali specifically and go somewhere else, you know?" mused Deanna, eyes rolling up as her opponent was nearly losing her mind in the hold underneath her.

"Baltimore here, actually. Like, not Baltimore Baltimore, but close by to Baltimore. In a nice area. Suburbs, and all. ...One-sided conversation not doing much for me," determined Deanna who would then finally, eventually, release Kayla from the hold, but kept her knee on her back. "Totally could have made you tap there. I bet you were that close, right? Well... not like that, babe! We try to put on a show with Black Diamond!" Duncan would then look back at her partner ringside and said, "Hey, you mind if I keep rocking her world!?"

Cheyenne just shrugged a shoulder in response. "Thanks babe!" replied Deanna before grabbing Kayla, a cheery smile on her face. "Cheyenne is so giving. That's why we're a good team. Sweetest girl I know, honestly," continued Deanna, who proceeded to sling her arm around the front of the SoCal girl's shoulders. "Got a good thing going with the back, by the way. Going to keep aiming there," she announced before attempting to hoist Kayla up and throw her down onto her knee with a Scrapbuster Backbreaker, wanting to rock her spine even further!

Kayla's back was being twisted backward in Deanna's clutches, her spine bent and creaking as it was dragged further and further into the point of the white-haired girl's knee. Her face and chin were pointed skyward with her teeth clenched in a scowl, while her ample chest jutted out straight toward the stands. And all the while, she had to listen to what Deanna had to say, wishing desperately that human beings came with a mute function. The pain was bad enough, but this felt like some form of torture. Kayla didn't want to end the match this early, but she didn't know how much longer she could take it.

Fortunately, even Deanna had to know when to stop, as she let Kayla go, causing the California girl to flop back onto her face. She gasped and panted for breath, her jaw lolling open, but before she could clear her thoughts she felt Deanna's knee pressing deeper against her back. "Ghhkk..!!" she hissed, her body going tense. "I...I was not-" came Kayla's hoarse voice, as she was prepared to reply to Deanna's questioning - but, of course, she was swiftly cut off as Deanna launched into yet another tirade.

At least there wasn't just talking. Deanna could pack some punches, too - and Kayla had a chance to feel that, as Deanna pulled her up higher, dropping her already wounded back onto her knee! She screamed in pain, bouncing off her opponent's leg and dropping to the canvas below as the pain shot through her. Kayla tumbled closer to the ropes, where she lay on her side, her ribs rising and falling as she took labored breaths. Her body was too stiff to move, and sweat ran down her side.

But, at the same time, Ash was beginning to stir from where she had landed, slowly picking herself up and holding her head with a groan as she rose to her knees. Kayla could only pray that she would notice what was going on in the ring in time to act!

Deanna Duncan was all smiles as she continued to assault Kayla, this time landing her Scrapbuster Backbreaker, showing off more of her technical flair! The platinum-haired girl stayed on one knee and then shrugged her shoulders, slapping her knee with one hand before getting to her feet and looked down at Kayla. "Man, you're a real mess. You know that? And I mean, you probably wouldn't be in this bad of shape if your partner didn't interfere and then cause my super buff best friend to break her into itty bitty pieces. Really her fault, more than anyone's. Not saying she doesn't care though!" She would then grab at one of Kayla's arms to try yanking her up to her feet again.

"I'm sure she's nice... I mean, I'm not sure. She illegally speared me when I was legally trying to kick your ass, so I mean, maybe not the best? But nice enough, outside of here, maybe. But while I've got you here, I figure Chey can get ahold of you again. Really just break you while your partner continues to... I don't know, just writhe there?" Deanna shrugged, then she went to whip Kayla towards her corner. If successful, Duncan would then follow up immediately and then go for The Point of the Diamond, aiming to take her head off with the Helluva Kick and get her ready to tag in her partner!

Kayla didn't have the energy to do much more than groan incoherently under her breath as she rolled onto the mat. Her head lay on the side, staring off into the distance as her jaw lolled open. For a moment, everything was spinning and she didn't have the peace of mind to do anything in response. But when Deanna started badmouthing her partner, that seemed to stir something in her! She clenched her teeth, her body growing stiff as she looked back out the corner of her eye. As much as the two of them didn't always see eye to eye with each other, Ashley was still her friend, and her protective instincts were kicking in. She wouldn't let anyone talk about her like that!

"Okay...now, you're going too far-!" Kayla snapped back, showing defiance even as she was being dragged to her feet by her arm. Her knees buckled and her balance was an unsteady one, but if nothing else, the anger was keeping that fire burning within her. Of course, Kayla was still quite worse for wear, and whatever she did wouldn't stop Deanna from whipping her into the corner. Kayla coughed as she struck the post, dropping down onto her knee.

As she looked up, she could see Deanna draw back a leg, preparing to land a powerful kick. Kayla didn't have much strength in her to move - but she had enough to get out of the way! Gritting her teeth to steel herself, she threw herself against the canvas to let Deanna's kick sail overhead and strike the post, hoping she would be left stunned by it. Back in her own corner, meanwhile, Ash held out her arm, calling to her partner for the tag.

"Over here, Kay! Over here!"

The irish whip had sent Kayla directly into the corner and Deanna Duncan went charging right at her corner, throwing her boot up to absolutely smash her California opponent's head in... but Kayla had ducked down! The Diamond's boot collided with the top turnbuckle pad, and immediately she sprung back. "Graaaaaaah....!" screamed out Deanna as she hit the mat, instantly holding her knee. "Oh my god, that hurt like a bitch!" exclaimed Deanna, laying on her back as she held her leg, groaning and whimpering.

"Deanna, focus. Tag me in," Cheyenne said, holding out her hand to her suffering opponent, her eyes dead on Kayla, who was already making her way to her corner, where Ashley was ready and waiting to get back into the match up.

"Okay, okay... just give me a second, my knee feels like it was pushed in like an acco--"

"Deanna," said the Chieftess, raising her voice. "She is going to tag in her partner."

Going wide-eyed, Duncan looked at Kayla, thinking briefly about trying to stop her, but instead rolling towards Cheyenne, reaching out and giving her a tag! Cheyenne instantly got back into the ring and began charging for Kayla, the bigger Native American girl being scarily quick as she ran over, getting ready to flatten Kayla before she could get over to her corner!

Kayla had gotten out of the way at the very last minute, and Deanna was left to take the brunt of the impact, as her kick met the hard surface of the turnbuckle instead, the momentum hurling her backward and off her balance. Kayla clenched her teeth, panting as she crawled away on all fours to her partner. She was sore, and her whole body ached, but if she could just get to Ashley she might be able to turn this around. She just needed the opportunity to duck out and rest her wounds.

After all, the redhead had come back to her senses, and now she was holding out for the tag, stretching her hand out toward Kayla. She leaned further under the ropes as far as she could stretch while still holding the tag rope with the other hand; her entire shoulder was under the ropes now, but Kayla needed all the help she could get. Further calling attention to herself, Ash drummed her fingers against the canvas, calling her partner over. "C'mon, Kay! C'mon, over here, over here!!"

"I see you-!" Kayla snapped back. Her patience was worn rather thin; after she had been around Deanna for long enough, she just wanted someplace quiet to go. As the two were nearing one another, Kayla felt the canvas rumble beneath her, and her blood ran cold. She looked back over her shoulder, her eyes going wide as she drew in a breath, with Cheyenne charging toward her. For a few precious seconds, she stalled.

Of course, Ash wouldn't let her stall for too long. "Kay!! Kayla, c'mon!!" Ashley said, slapping the mat again to try to win back her partner's focus. Kayla looked back at her, nodding a curt nod. "Right-!" she called, and with a shove of her body forward she lunged closer to the red-haired girl and out of Cheyenne's way. The tips of their fingers at last brushed against one another, just as Cheyenne was about to make impact!
