This Fire Burns!: Firebrand (D) vs. Finlay Zeffer

Firebrand soon found herself in the tight embrace of her opponent. Firebrand grimaced a smile as the move brought back fond memories of beating up her older brothers. This move created Firebrand, and it may create another memory tonight. Firebrand began vigorously wiggling around, trying to get Finlay off balance.

[Bare]

Finlay smirked as he squeezed Firebrand knowing he had the advantage over the smaller blonde. However he was thrown off slightly seekng the smiling grimace on her face. It was an odd mixing of expressions and he was curious why she had it. “So do you like being squeezed like a fruit or is there some other reason your smiling?” He asked her dryly while squeezing her a bit tighter and locking his hands behind her back to try and keep her under control in spite of her wild wiggling. Luckily his greater weight and size made it difficult to lose balance.

"Let's just say this move...brings back fond memories" replied Firebrand as the hold became tighter. She managed to get her arms free and started elbowing Finlay, all while still wiggling like a ten pound bass...

Finlay raised an eyebrow in genuine confusion. ‘A move like this? Brings back fond memories?’ He thought to himself inconfusion. Unfortuantely this worked to the girl’s advantage as she managed to free her arms and now began raining elbows down on him grunting in pain from this as well as her renewed wiggling Finlay groaned and pushed his head forward under her chin to try and protect his face and skull from her range of attack. Although this has the unfortuante side effect of putting the Kiwi’s face veryyy near the top of Firebrand’s chest. A part of him knew he should abandon the hold. However there was no telling what a speed demon like Firebrand would do once he released her. Thus Finlay resigned himself loterally squeezing every last second of this hold he could manage to try and weaken ner as much as possible. However the elbows still struck his body and tbe wiggling was loosening his grip and making it hard to keep his balance.

Firebrand knew this hold was weakening, and she knew that Finlay knew it was weakening, and even though it was somewhat embarrassing to have a guy's head dug into her cleavage, Firebrand decided for the quick release by clapping Finlay's ears. If successful, she would try for a kick to the head.

[Bare]

Finlay gasped in pain as her hands collided against either side of his ears, the shovk of it making him release his grip on Firebrand. Still taken off guard by the move he was vulnerable as her fort connected with his head sending him stumbling back from the impact leaving him off kilter and a bit stunned.

Firebrand decided now was a good time for her signature move: The Fire Extinguisher, it was a basic sleeper, but, it got the job done against her brothers and on the indys. She climbed on Finlay's back and wretched the hold in, hoping for a submission, but, was willing to accept just slowing her opponent down.

As Finlay was putting himself back together following that painful kick from Firebrand his breath was suddenly taken from him as the pixie locked her arms around his neck for a sleeper. “Grr.” He grunted as he grabbed her arms which already locked against his neck. ‘A simple move... but done effectively...’ he thought to himself as he started sending elbows behind him into her leg and side hoping to weaken her somewhat. If successful Finlay would reach up to try and grab her by the bicep before proceeding to drop himself forward while pulling on her arm to try and flip her over him and onto her back to hopefully break the hold.

Firebrand should have known Finlay wasn't going to make this easy. Firebrand, sensing that Finlay was going to power his way out, decided that keeping the hold on was not worth it, besides, this was submission match, not a knockout match. Against what most would call common sense, Firebrand let go of the hold and shoved Finlay away, waiting for his next move...

Finlay admittedly sighed in relief as he felt the pressure disappear meaning firebrand had abandoned her hold. That was good... and bad. On one hand it meant he could now breathe again and that he caused some damage to his opponet. However this also fully confirmed she was skilled and smart enough to know when to abandon a hold. She was truly netter than Fin had given ene credit for. Rolling forward Finlay popped to a crouching position locking eyes with Firebrand wearily. He couldn’t afford to underestimate her anymore. It was time to pull out all the stops against her.
