Sharon Donnery vs. Carina Ricci - Doubling Down

Sharon endured as Carina held her in the submission hold. Eventually, she was released from the camel clutch, though she was left weakened by it. Hoping to recover, the green-haired wrestler would try to push herself up, trying to get herself on all four, but it looked like Carina wasn't quite done yet as she went to grab onto her and dragged her to the center of the ring before throwing her down into the mat.

"UGHH!!!"

Sharon groaned in pain as she crashed into the mat. She had a pained expression on her face as she writhed in agony, and her recovery seemed to slow down thanks to Carina's actions. For the time being, she was in danger before her opponent, who could do whatever she liked on her, and Sharon would be having trouble defending herself from whatever Carina would do next to her.

Not wasting a moment while Sharon was down Carina made her next move. She rushed toward the opposite ropes. Rebounding from that side the west coast huntress went straight for her green haired opponent laying on the canvas. Subsequently she would then attempt a leg drop across Sharon’s chest.

Sharon was still down when Carina made her next move, which was running towards the ropes before rebounding from them, returning back to where she was. Then, she went to deliver a leg drop right across Sharon's chest.

"UAHH!!!"

Sharon gasped out in pain as Carina's leg landed across her chest, knocking the wind out of her. This left her breathless, and this would also give Carina an opportunity to pin her down, now that her leg was draped over Sharon's chest.

Carina sighed with satisfaction. Glad that paid off. She thought to herself. Deciding this was the best opportunity to win the west coast huntress grabbed one of Sharon’s legs for a pin attempt.

The referee began the countdown.

One, two...

Sharon wheezed after taking the leg drop, and she could feel Carina going for a pinfall. Grunting, she would try to force herself to break the pin as she heard the referee counting, and when the referee counted up to two, the green-haired woman kicked out, breaking the pin.

"Nghhhh..." Sharon would push Carina off of her, pushing herself up into a sitting position. She tried to steady her breathing, hoping that she could recover and try to counter whatever Carina would try to pull out next. She needed to take this match seriously if she ever wanted to win at the end of it.

Thrown off Carina rolled for a few seconds before stopping herself at the edge of the ropes. Sweating heavily she thought. Another moment and I would’ve had her. Despite that frustration Carina couldn’t help but admire Sharon’s strength and determination. It makes their match all the more interesting.

Using the ropes as leverage while keeping one eye on her rival Carina was attempting get up to her feet. “You’re no disappointment that’s for sure.” She said to Sharon with a fierce grin despite her exhaustion.

Now on the sitting position, Sharon would then push herself back up, getting herself back onto her feet as she looked at her opponent. She smiled wryly when she heard her words. She placed her hands on her hips as she tipped her head slightly. "Heh... I'm more than just no disappointment, just so you know..." Sharon said as she would get into a stance, preparing herself to engage with her opponent once more.

Like her opponent, Sharon was also feeling exhausted, but at this point, she was getting excited. She would prepare herself for whatever her opponent would do next, and she would carefully watch her opponent so that she would be able to see what she would do next. She would also formulate her next plan in the meantime.

Back up Carina nodded at Sharon. Her opponent is worthy fighter but she didn’t intend to let herself lose now. Adopting a similar fighting stance the west coast huntress prepared. The crowd looked on with desperate anticipation, egging both to do something.

Within a moment Carina charged at the green haired veteran. In the few seconds the blond Californian jumped in front of Sharon, attempting to hit her in the chest with a two legged kick.

Sharon saw Carina rushing towards her, and she would try to mount up a defense. But it wasn't enough to protect herself against Carina's dropkick, which hit her right in her chest. "GUH!!" The blow was enough to leave the tanned beauty breathless, and she was sent tumbling backwards before hitting the mat with her back.

Still, she wouldn't stay idle as she would try to use the momentum of her fall to continue rolling, trying to roll herself over onto her knees. She would bring her hand onto her chest, nursing the injury that she had taken from the attack that Carina had dealt on her. At the same time, she would look at her opponent to see what she would do next.

[Knight-Day]

Carina fell back on her side after hitting Sharon with the drop kick. “Gotcha ya.” She said to herself breathing heavily while the crowd roared in cheers. Her cocky grin faded as she looked up, watching the green haired wrestler quickly rolled to her knees.

Damn she won’t stay down. The blond sat up as well, looking Sharon in the eyes. Her respect for the veteran grew. The latter was injured but still committed and she was running out of steam. Carina didn’t who can give way at this point.

Not wanting to keep the audience waiting the former heiress with a grunt forced herself to her feet. All watched as Carina subsequently raised her the left hand, up above her shoulders. It was a silent but powerful challenge for a test of strength.
