Monaka vs. Mika Matsuda - Brawlin' Cuties

Due to her disorientation, Monaka was unable to focus on Mika who was circling around her. All those blows earlier made it difficult to keep her head straight, and soon, she took a blow under her chin as Mika delivered an uppercut at her jaw.

"UUGHHH!!!"

Monaka's head whipped back, and she staggered two steps back before falling onto her back unceremoniously. She let out a whimper as she landed on her back, vulnerable before her opponent.

Mika exhales after scoring a whole flurry of blows on Monaka. She looks to the crowd, and raises an arm up to them. They respond with cheers and applause, making her feel all the better about it.

Okay, now she got her down, what was the next step? That's right, there was no ten count for her opponent in this match. Instead she had to.. well.. pin her opponent's shoulders to the mat. The realization of this causes Mika's cheeks to tint a slight pink. She'd.. have to get close to her. She couldn't chicken out in front of the crowd though. Especially when she just rallied them to her side. She starts to drop to her knees, and starts to climb on top of Monaka, straddling her waist.

"Don't... read anything into this.. I'm just trying to pin you..." She says to her, before leaning forward, and plants her gloves on Monaka's shoulders, hovering over her as she tries to pin her down.

Thanks to all her opponent's attacks, Monaka was down, and she would need a while in order to recover. There was a pause between her falling and Mika getting down onto her for the pin, which could probably be attributed to her not used to wrestling. But Monaka didn't think of that, considering that her head was still throbbing from all the attacks she took.

"Uuuhhn..." Monaka groaned, feeling Mika's weight on top of her. She could barely hear what Mika was saying, and when the boxer was on top of her, she was able to hear the referee counting for the pin.

"ONE!"

Realizing what was about to happen, Monaka would force herself to break the pin, and when the referee brought her hand for the second count, she would buck her legs, kicking out of the pin.

"Nnghhh... g-get off..." Monaka grumbled as she would try to push Mika off of her so that she could get back up and get back into the fight.

Mika whimpers softly as she stays on top of her. Just three seconds and it would be over. She closes her eyes, trying to shut out what was happening right now.

.oO(Just stay down...) She thought to herself. She hears the ref slapping her hand against the mat, then felt Monaka struggling against her.

"N-no! Stay down!" She protests.

"She's up!" The ref counts, not even making it to a two count. Mika squeaks as Monaka shoves her off, and ends up falling to her butt with a soft grunt!

Breaking the pin and shoving Mika off of her, Monaka huffed, looking displeased by what her opponent was doing. Seeing Mika on her butt, Monaka would try to push herself back up, though she was still feeling dizzy from everything that she had taken from the boxer earlier, and she needed a bit more time to recover.

"Nnnghh... k-keep dreaming, rookie..." Monaka grunted as she would try to reach out for Mika, grabbing her by her arm as she would try to get herself back up onto her feet, pulling her opponent alongside her. "Guhhh..." She hadn't fully recovered yet, which explained why she couldn't immediately attack her opponent just yet.

Mika shook her head after flopping to her butt. She watches Monaka starting to get back up, and doesn't really fight her much as she's trying to grab her arm. She lets herself get picked up to her feet.

"You... probably didn't want to do that." She whispers in her ear as she's getting picked up. When she's on her feet, she'll slam her right glove deep into Monaka's belly. Mika was feeling a little remorse for Monaka, as mean as she was being to her earlier. As much of a jerk as she tried to make herself out to be, she didn't really feel like Monaka was a bad person deep down. She almost wanted to apologize to her, but she bit that back before that word could slip out.

Monaka was trying to get herself back onto her feet as she grabbed Mika and tried to pull her up as well, but when she did that, Mika decided to hit her with a punch to her belly, and the hit managed to knock the wind out of her again. "Guufghh!!!" Monaka let go of Mika before she staggered back, cradling her aching tummy that was struck by her opponent.

Glaring at her opponent, she would try to keep her distance, pressing her hands on her stomach as she tried to recover. For the time being, she needed to take some time to recover from the strike, though she wouldn't be able to attack her opponent due to this. "Ngughh... y-you...!!" She growled, still glaring at the cute boxer before her.

Mika nails her as expected with that blow, and watches her staggering back. She keeps her gloves up, but Monaka could tell she wasn't as into the fight as she was a moment ago.

Instead, she keeps her distance for right now. She doesn't move towards her, but she doesn't look away from her either. She just watches her quietly, looking a little concerned.

Monaka braced herself for anything that Mika would throw at her, but somehow, Mika kept her distance. Monaka thought that the rookie might be underestimating her, which angered her. She would take this opportunity to recover before she decided to launch herself towards her opponent, seemingly trying to close the distance between the two of them and hit her with an attack.

"Oryahhhh!!" Monaka roared as she would try to close in, seemingly trying to hammer Mika with a forearm strike, but as she drew closer, she would try to catch Mika off-guard by running past her instead. She would try to rebound from the ropes to return back to her opponent, looking to tackle her down into the mat with a spear.

Mika waits until Monaka darts from the corner. She hears her battle cry, and tightens her guard. She saw that arm out. She was trying for another clothesline? She frowns a little to herself, and readies herself to counter it and open her up to further attacks. She stood ready to block it, but when Monaka came close, she.. ran past her?

She turns to face her as she runs past her, and sees her bouncing off the ropes. She keeps her guard high, thinking she was still going to try to club her to the ground with an arm.

"GUHAAAK!" Mika gags as Monaka slams her shoulder into her belly with all her power, and blasts her off her feet, landing hard to her back with the air robbed from her lungs!
