Anti/Hero - Michiko Shimizu vs. "Major" Millie Walker

The cheer was what brought Millie back to her senses.

She'd hit the canvas awkwardly, the back of her head cracking against the canvas and leaving her disoriented for a moment. Her vision swam, her eyes rolled, and then her gaze snapped to the figure standing above her, arm raised. Well shit. By the time the Briton had gained enough sense to do anything about her situation the ninja-girl was already skidding along the mat on her knees.

Not keen on whatever MIchiko had planned for her, the Briton lashed out with a kick as she twisted to try and get a good look at her foe, hair hanging infront of her scowling face in a manner that gave her a positively rabid appearance. But it was all too late, the lilac-haired woman grabbed hold of her legs, flipping her over and soon transitioning into a full on Boston Crab.

The Briton let out a cry of pain as she felt her body arched and stretched beneath her foe, but if anyone thought that was going to stop Millie, well, they hadn't met the ex-pilot. Straining herself, Millie slammed her palms into the canvas and glared at the nearest ropes, flexing her arms as she tried to pull herself slowly towards them and force her foe to respond.

If Millie's kick was even registered by Michiko, it was too little, too late. All she succeeded at doing was throwing her leg right into position for Michiko to grab a hold of it and use the leverage to flip her opponent over for the Boston Crab. Clamoring on top of Millie, Michiko bent her legs back over her shoulders hard, gritting her teeth and leaning into it. She was intent on making sure this evildoer paid for her sins - and, from the screams coming out of Millie's throat, it certainly sounded like she was doing a fair job of that.

Clawing at the canvas to try and propel herself forward, Millie managed to drag herself towards the ropes. Feeling her foe's body moving underneath her, the lilac-haired girl looked back over her shoulder to see that indeed Millie was getting closer to her freedom. But she wasn't if Michiko had any say in the matter.

Confident that she could hold out well enough with only one hand, Michiko released one of Millie's legs, This would only free her hand up to give Millie a warning, though, as she balled it into a fist and swung it against her side!

"Bugger...!" Millie found herself cursing as she felt her leg snap straight into the perfect position for Michiko to grab hold of it. Well, that had certainly backfired. Things didn't get any better as the ninja girl climbed on top of her and bent her legs backwards, locking in the Boston Crab in a particular painful manner as if she had developed some kind of personal grudge with the Briton!

Still, as painful as it was, it was also kind of... exciting? The Briton was being given a run for her money, and she was eager to show everyone, the purple-haired girl included, that this was a challenge that she'd overcome like any other. And so she kept her gaze on the ropes as she tried to drag her way towards them, her glare so intense that it was a small miracle it didn't burn a hole through them.

"GUH-!" The punch had taken her by surprise. She'd been so focused on escaping the hold that she hadn't noticed her opponent's shift in position. A burning pain shot through her side and caused her eyes to bulge, but this too was pain she would have to push through. With a leg now free she'd try and pull it down under her body and push off the canvas with it to give herself some leverage.

Millie was definitely making things tricky for Michiko, that was clear enough for all to see. She began to pant under her breath, the match costing her more and more effort as things dragged on, and the Englishwoman proved that she wasn't going to go down without a fight. Certainly, this wasn't going to be simple. But at the same time...Michiko didn't mind that. Even if Millie was an enemy of justice and truth, and all that she stood for, she could still acknowledge her worth as a fighter beyond that. And more than that - the more of a fight Millie put up, the more satisfying it would be, for Michiko and all in attendance, when her retribution finally came.

Michiko's punch landed, and she found that cause to celebrate. She let out a "Yeah!" as a smile broke across her face, and she pumped a fist in the air. Even if the match was far from over, she couldn't resist the rush of excitement that came when she was truly doing her best and achieving results.

But soon, it would become clear that Michiko had spoken too soon. Now that Millie's leg was free, she was able to apply its leverage, pushing against the mat to unseat the pressure Michiko exerted on her from above. It took her some effort, but Michiko's attention was elsewhere - so she didn't see it coming when Millie managed to flip her off, sending her rolling over and onto her back as she was forced to abandon her hold!

The moment that Michiko had fallen from her, Millie moved to climb to her feet. That said, the amount of pain that Michiko had put her through sure didn't help, with little explosions of pain burning through her sides and back. Still, Millie wasn't going to let that stop her- she'd lived through worse, and she was going to pull through this as well. Crawling forwards to the ropes, Millie grabbed hold of them and pulled herself up to her feet, turning on her heel to face her opponent, glaring daggers at the ninja-girl.

Taking a hissing breath, Millie rolled her shoulders and dropped her centre of weight, looking like a bull that was preparing to charge. Her lips spread into a scowl as her glare locked onto Michiko.

Then, the Birton snapped into action, silently charging forwards as she aimed straight for her opponent. As she grew close, she'd leap at the ninja-girl, throwing her elbow out and seeking to drop it straight into Michiko's gut!

Recovering off of the blow that hit her like a ton of bricks, Michiko was starting to pull herself back up to her feet, using the ropes to brace herself as she tried to secure her feet against the canvas beneath her. She grit her teeth, catching her breath, and looked across at what Millie was doing - and there, she froze. She could see that single-minded intent in the Briton's eyes, and she knew just what it meant. Millie was angry, and she was looking to inflict some pain. Obviously this was no friendly contest - if it ever was, that is. As far as Michiko was concerned, Millie was just looking for fresh meat to assert her dominance over now, no doubt taking pleasure in putting down the weak and helpless. And that was an injustice that Michiko couldn't stand for!

Her muscles went tense, coiled and ready to go off at a moment's notice as her gaze fixed on her opponent. Even if only a few seconds passed, it felt to Michiko like time slowed down to build to this point, as she became aware of all that hung in the balance. She knew that Millie would spare her no mercy if she got into range - and Michiko wasn't going to let her! In the closest split-second she could keep control of, Michiko tried to swerve out of Millie's oncoming rush so that the veteran pilot would strike only the mat beneath her. If that worked, then Michiko would try and get behind her to plot her next move.

Millie's eyes stayed locked on Michiko as she soared through the air, right up until the ninja-girl swerved out of the way and slipped in behind her. As annoyed as the whole 'justice' act that the violet-haired woman seemed to have going on made her, the sense of excitement was growing on her. Now that she wasn't underestimating the violet-haired woman the two of them could have a good fight. And no matter how much she might have been worried about her reputation going in, she was always happy to lose herself in a good fight.

Not at all eager to be stuck with an opponent behind her, Millie tucked her body into a roll immediately upon crashing into the canvas. Moving forwards, she would attempt to leap back up onto her feet, hoping that she was moving quickly enough that Michiko wasn't able to take advantage of her position down on the canvas. If she was able to come out of the roll she would buck herself up, attempting to land on her feet and stand upright. Not wanting to let her eyes off her opponent, she would intend to turn and face her opponent once more.

So far, Millie hadn't been putting up much of a threat to Michiko, and the lilac-haired girl was sure that she had things under control. Now that she was behind her, she was right in position to pull off one of her signature moves - the German Suplex! Grinning in anticipation of landing such a decisive blow, she lowered herself, getting ready to take hold of her foe.

But to Michiko's surprise, all she caught in her outstretched arms was air, as Millie rolled out of the way. She stumbled forward a few steps, as Millie cleared the distance in between the two before getting back up. The two women shared a look from either side of the ring, eyes narrowing in a silent admission - they had both been underestimating the other, but now, it was time to really give it everything they had. Michiko was aiming to not disappoint, as she charged towards her opponent with a shoulder charge readied.

For a moment, Millie's eyes met Michiko's. Their eyes narrowed and there was a silent understanding between the two. It was time to go all out. Nodding slightly to acknowledge the moment, a smile played at the edges of her mouth. It looked like ninja-girl was ready to just have a good fight too. Good. That made her more comfortable with the woman, despite all the honour crap.

Millie rushed forwards at the same time as Michiko had, charging her opponent and rearing up to throw a savage chop to her opponent's chest.

"Kuh-!" The Briton grunted, taking ninja-girl's shoulder charge straight to the chest and stumbling back. But she wasn't about to let that stop her, and as she stumbled back she threw the chop at her opponent, trying to land the strike all the same.

The glance was shared, and the feeling was mutual, as both women could acknowledge one another's will to fight. They were both going to give it all they had - Michiko knew that herself as well as Millie did. She wouldn't hold back, now that she knew what Millie was capable. Sure, Michiko loved the theatrics of wrestling and presenting herself to the crowd, working the showmanship into her moves. But this wasn't the time for that. Millie deserved a real fight, and that's what Michiko was going to give her.

The two of them charged headlong at each other, their feet leaving their positions on the mat at the same time as they came in closer. Michiko could feel her shoulder plow into Millie's chest, followed by the resounding thud and the sensation of Millie backing off. But that wouldn't be all for her, as Millie had an attack of her own readied, throwing a chop straight across at Michiko's chest, where it landed with a stinging sensation. Michiko groaned through her teeth, starting to back up, and they found themselves once again at a standoff, both staring one another down a distance apart.

Michiko, though, wouldn't let it slow her down for very long, not when she still had the fight in her. She swung for Millie again, this time going for a kick towards her jaw.
