A Sapphire for a Snake: Aoto vs Gabriel

After being released, Aoto's limp body would flop down onto the mat, leaving her lying spreadeagled and unconscious as Gabriel admired the girl's unconscious body from a distance. The ref would come over, gently tapping the bluenette's face and causing her to slowly stir.

"Nnnghh...ughh..." Aoto would come to, slowly sitting up as the bell rang, signalling the start of the second round as Aoto tried to get back on her feet, which were noticeably wobbling slightly.

She was barely breaking a sweat. At least compared to her opponent, Gabriel seemed quite fresh. Her skin was barely glistening, and her agitation seemed to stem more from her eagerness to carry on. So, when Aoto finally managed to steady herself on both feet, Gabriel stepped away from the ropes and waited expectantly before going after her.

The bell would have rung earlier, just as Aoto was coming round from her stupor, but Gabriel hadn’t wanted to attack her whilst she was still seeing stars. Or at least, not just yet. The blonde took things at her own pace, as though this were a catwalk rather than a No-DQ match.

She paid the referee no mind and grabbed Aoto by the wrist, then took hold of her arm before taking off. The blonde would send the bluenette hurtling towards the ropes, hoping she would rebound so she could stop her with a clothesline. One of those powerful clotheslines performed using every muscle in her Olympic-calibre body. From her knees to the twist of her waist, all working together to maximise the force behind her outstretched arm.

It was going to be a heavy blow to the chest of this blue-haired girl who had only just found the strength to get back to her feet.
