Marzia Servelli vs. Chigusa Yuuki

The element of surprise was on Marzia's side as she managed to plow straight into her opponent, sending Chigusa falling back. For a moment, a wave of relief ran over Marzia. Finally, an attack that landed! She was actually turning this around! If she could press on and keep up this momentum, maybe she would actually stand a chance to win, she would just need to take control with Chigusa down, and-

But Chigusa wasn't as down as Marzia had suspected, as she threw a forearm into the Italian's head. The last thing Marzia expected after landing such a blow was for Chigusa to still have the energy in her to fight back, and so it took her completely by surprise. With a yelp, Marzia fell back, rolling onto her side and off of Chigusa as she clutched her head. Though there was now some distance between the two, the throbbing in Marzia's skull was still felt quite well.

While she might have been taken down by Marzia's spear, Chigusa was still able to land her forearm smash right into the side of Marzia's head, stopping whatever plan that she had in her mind. Pushing Marzia aside, Chigusa would then roll over onto her side before pushing herself up. The spear had left her a little winded, but it wasn't thing that she couldn't handle as she kept her eyes on Marzia, who was still reeling from the strike to her head.

Getting herself back on her feet, Chigusa would approach Marzia, bending down to grab her and then pull her back up on her feet. She would then try to send her running towards the nearest corner with an Irish whip, followed with her running after her. She would try to jump up as she got closer, twisting around in order to hit her with a hip attack, smashing her butt onto the cornered Marzia against the turnbuckle!

With everything spinning around her, Marzia nevertheless knew she couldn't let the blow keep her down. Chigusa was quick to strike, and she knew that if she slowed down, the purple-haired woman wouldn't pass up the opportunity to sieze control once again. However, even as the Italian started to roll over to pick herself up to her feet, she didn't get very far. Chigusa did the honors for her, grabbing her by the arm and hauling her back up to her feet with a surprised gasp. The next thing she knew, she was flying towards the turnbuckle.

Marzia quickly snapped herself back to her surroundings, digging her heels into the ground as she neared the corner post to skid herself to a stop at the last minute while she started to gasp and pant. That was a close call, she thought to herself. But just as Marzia turned herself back around to face Chigusa, she was already lunging towards her, ass first. The girl blushed faintly at the sight, but a moment later Chigusa had plowed straight into her stomach. She coughed, falling back against the turnbuckle as she stumbled in a daze.

Launching herself backwards, ass first into Marzia's belly, Chigusa squished her opponent between her butt and the turnbuckle. Knowing that the attack would surely leave her winded, Chigusa decided to follow up with another attack as she would get back up, turning around to face her opponent. She would make sure to pull her up and have her lean against the turnbuckle, Chigusa would then launch a barrage of chops right into Marzia's chest, each strike stiff and devastating.

She would make sure that each strike was audible enough for the crowd to hear, and the crowd would yell out a 'WOO!' with each chop. She planned to step away from Marzia after landing about five chops, going to the opposite turnbuckle so that she could launch herself back towards her to deliver another hip attack, this time aimed at her face!

Sure enough, after her back was slammed into the turnbuckle Marzia wasn't in the best shape to avoid what was coming for her next, and Chigusa's hand firmly struck out and made contact with her chest. Even if Marzia had...cushioning, it still wouldn't be enough to protect her from the sharp smack of Chigusa's chop landing on its mark, sending the Italian girl bucking backwards with a yelp. But that was only the beginning.

Four more strikes managed to land, each one seeming harder than the last as Marzia grew more and more sore from the pain. She started to whimper under her breath from the sensation, her legs struggling to bear her weight as she clung tightly to the ropes at either side of her to prevent herself from giving out. She knew that to collapse would be to hand Chigusa the advantage, and Marzia wasn't about to do that, but it was hard to do much else.

That was, until she looked up to see Chigusa moving across the ring towards the other turnbuckle. As the brunette was left panting to try and get the air back in her lungs, Marzia realised she had her chance. Chigusa wasn't hitting her, and when she wasn't hitting her she was open to attack. And with Chigusa planning something as dramatic as this, Marzia would have ample opportunity to take advantage. She moved herself over to brace herself against the ropes, taking in a deep breath to prepare herself. That way, when Chigusa came forward, Marzia would be ready to spring a clothesline back at her to collide with her opponent's spine, to try and knock her back out of the air.

After delivering those chops onto Marzia's chest in quick succession, Chigusa planned to deliver another hip attack, this time to her face. She headed over to the opposite corner to give herself some distance between her and her opponent before she dashed towards her. Then, she turned around, preparing herself to launch herself in midair, but against her expectation, Marzia was the first to act as she went to deliver a clothesline right into her, stopping her momentum altogether.

"Ghuuuu!!!"

Chigusa was sent onto the mat. The hit seemed to take some wind out of the former Wrestle Angel, but she wouldn't allow this to stop her from trying to get back up. She would roll over onto her side before attempting to get herself onto her knees. But at the moment, she wasn't in any shape to defend herself against whatever Marzia would throw at her next.

Marzia could hardly believe that. That actually worked! She had a lot riding on such a gamble, but in the end it played out in her favor, as she now found herself standing above Chigusa as she lay out on the mat, panting to regain her breath. Though Chigusa got on her knees, she wasn't fighting back. That was good, Marzia thought to herself. It gave her a window of time with which to act. Taking a moment to wipe off her brow, Marzia quickly caught her breath before she got back into action.

Circling around Chigusa's back, Marzia siezed on the opening to claim her advantage, and she rushed in to secure a headlock, gripping the girl's head with both her arms and pulling backwards. Marzia grit her teeth to focus her attention on controlling Chigusa's head, hugging it tightly against her body and twisting back and forth to try and steer her as she jostled the former Wrestle Angel about.

Feeling winded after being taken down by the clothesline from her opponent, Chigusa would try to get herself back up. Then she realized that Marzia was no longer within her field of sight before she tried to turn around, thinking that her opponent might have moved to her back. But before she could do anything, she was put into a headlock from behind as Marzia's arms gripped her before her head was yanked behind. "Aaaghhhh!!!" Chigusa cried out in pain, feeling intense pain around her neck.

Knowing that staying like this might leave her in a very dangerous position, Chigusa would quickly try to get herself out of this predicament by driving her elbow into the side of Marzia's body, which was behind her. Hopefully, by doing this, Marzia would be stunned for a while, which would allow Chigusa to carry out her plan to grab her head before attempting to flip her over her shoulder with a snapmare!

Finally, Marzia had gotten Chigusa where she wanted her. This came as a relief to the Italian girl, after not doing so well in the first part of this match. Now, though, she had begun to weaken her opponent and get some damage in edgewise, and maybe she had a chance after all. Anticipation went pounding through Marzia's head as she held down tight against Chigusa's throat, her heart beating faster in her chest. She could do this, she thought!

But as she closed her eyes to reassure herself, Marzia took her attention off the purple-haired girl at her feet, and she didn't see it coming when Chigusa drew back an elbow and slammed it into her side. Jolted, Marzia let up a little on the pressure as she let out a yelp, shaken abruptly back into the present. And in turn, Chigusa wouldn't have much trouble taking her by the head. Marzia could hardly believe Chigusa had so much power in her (though her own distraction probably didn't help), as she soon saw herself going sailing through the air as Chigusa used her head as leverage to hurl her off her feet. The next thing she knew, Marzia had slammed into the mat with a thud, dazing her as she coughed and sputtered.

Flipping Marzia over with a snapmare, Chigusa was given an opportunity to turn things back in her favor. Still feeling sore around her neck, she shook her head a little, trying to shrug off the pain as she would get back on her feet and pull Marzia with her. Now positioned behind the Italian wrestler, the former Wrestle Angel would wrap her arms around her waist from behind, locking her up in a waist lock. After securing the hold as she clashed her hands together on Marzia's belly, she would try to lift her up and throw her over with a German suplex!

She planned to quickly get herself on her tiptoes, going for a bridging pin as she would press Marzia's shoulders onto the mat. While she knew that Marzia might be able to kick out of this, keeping her under pressure would surely give her enough advantage over her opponent in this match.
