Lumberjacking in law -Speranza vs Keria

"Oh, ha ha. How funny." Speranza replied. Then she grunted from the two feet that landed on the bat spot on her back.

The lunberjills are still fighting, but the hoodie girl is keeping up a good pace. She manages to have them back off for now, but a lot of the baby faces seems best up.

Speranza goes to get up by rolling away first. She wanted to create some distance. Then she got up. To her feet. If Keiri got close to her, she would do a superkick to her.

"Glad you thought so," Keira laughed. "I'm a fountain of humor."

She looked out to her swarm; that one chick in the hoodie was still standing, but it looked like many of the others were down for the count. That could pose a problem later...

"You! I owe you a drink later," Keira said with a wink, pointing directly at the hoodie girl. "The rest of you, get up! Come on now, are y'all really gonna stay down after only a few blows? You're all wrestlers here, you're tougher than that! Come on now, back on your feet!" And then, finally, she turned her attention to the audience. "Think they could use a boost? Give 'em a hand, yeah? Give 'em a shout!"

Meanwhile, while Keira was trying to hype up her fallen allies, Speranza rolled away to recover, too. Keira noticed her out of the corner of her eye, but let her go to focus on giving some words of encouragement instead. That would allow Speranza to get back to her feet, still a fair distance away. Keira kept her in the corner of her line of sight; she wasn't going to be caught by surprise if her opponent tried to charge in!

Speranza sees Keira trying to get her side up. Speranza wasn't gonna charge. She slowly crept behind Keira.

She was trying not to make any noise. When he was close enough, she would jump and dropkick Keria. Hitting her back. If that worked, she had a payback plan.

She would go to pick her up by the head and shove her. She would try to shove her through the ropes to her team's side. If she were successful.

As Speranza inched closer, Keira maintained her position, head tiled ever so slightly with a grin. She was well aware of what was going on, determined not to be one of those idiots who ignores the threat and positioning of their opponent mid-match. Speranza maneuvered out of her line of sight, but Keira didn't need to turn her head to see where she was - behind her, obviously.

She was going to go for some kind of choke or snare, for sure. Keira was ready. As soon as the arm came into her vision, she'd grab it and flip Speranza forwards onto the mat in a makeshift hip toss. Easy.

...Except the arm never came. Instead, Keira's body lurched forwards with a surprised grunt as a pair of boots slammed into her back like a battering ram! The force toppled her forwards, hands coming up in time to keep her nose from breaking on the mat, but the crash still sent a wave of discomfort through her arms and spine.

From there it was easy for Speranza to grab her and haul her up, effortlessly shoving her forwards, right in between the ropes. Keira stumbled, feet catching on the bottom one while the rest of her body slipped between the middle and top ropes. She managed to land on her feet rather than her head, flipping her body after her legs followed her through the ropes, but they gave out immediately after and she sunk down to her knees.

And she was immediately greeted by a knee to the face.

"Gahh!"

The blow knocked her backwards, back slamming into the side of the ring. She was caught by someone else before she crumpled; they lifted her off the mat and flipped her over, holding her upside-down above their head for a moment, before spiking her back down, the brutal brainbuster splatting the goth girl to the cold, hard ground!

The dazed girl's body flopped over limply, save for her hands rubbing at the back of her head. She offered no resistance as Speranza's heels peeled her off the ground, many of them landing punches, chops, and kicks on her vulnerable body in the process, and tossed her unceremoniously back into the ring. Still stunned from that heavy blow, though, she wasn't ready for whatever was coming her way next.

Speranza took this time to go to the top rope. She saw Keira getting beaten up. She took time to recover. She focuses on her.

When she got put back into the ring. Speranza went in for a 360 sentence bomb onto Keira. She doesn't think Keira will dodge.

"Roll!" A baby face said. Said it before Speranza jumped. Could Keria she could roll away? If not well...

Dazed and confused, Keira only knew pain in the moments after being forced back into the ring. Being spiked into the ground rather than the mat hurt. She was grateful for any and every spare second she was given to come to her senses and try to ease the throbbing in her head.

"Uuuuughh...."

Speranza, however, did not want to grant her any more time than necessary. Keira's only warning before the other woman's shadow loomed over her was someone screaming, "Roll!"

And so she did; without really thinking about who shouted or why, Keira just responded, rolling instinctively the same direction she had been moving only moments ago - and therefore, closer to the center of the ring rather than back outside it. The motion disturbed the pain in her skull even further, but with any luck, she wouldn't catch all of whatever Speranza had been about to hit her with.

Speranza heard someone say Roll. She saw Keira roll, and she jumped already. She landed on the mat hard. She grunted in pain.

Ahe held her knees for a bit. She flipped over. Did she need to? No, he did it on purpose to help sell the match. She is a professional wrestler after all.

She bets it's that hoodie girl. She got up while Keria was still down. She walked up to the hoodied girl. "You got a problem with..." it all clicked in. She saw who it was. She can't believe it. She can't believe that she would be here out of all of the wrestling federations.

Mere moments after Keira begun her dizzying roll, the mat beneath her shook with the tremors of Speranza's landing, and Speranza's grunts of pain reached her ears. That could have been her if she hadn't moved. The tremors of the mat helped to ground Keira. She began to right herself, first to one knee, then to her feet, shaking off her daze. She wasn't quite in good enough condition to attack just yet, but her opponent would be down for a moment after that missed attack, too.

Or so she thought. By the time Keira managed to stand upright, Speranza was already back up, shouting at someone. Keira followed her gaze to spot that same girl in the hoodie. But Speranza's shout was cut off halfway, a curious look on her face. Surprise? Disbelief? Hard to tell. Had she maybe recognized the girl?

Maybe Keira would ask about it after the match, if details didn't come out on their own. Meanwhile, there was still a match going on. Keira wasn't the best acrobat, but there was no better time to make an attempt. While Speranza was distracted, Keira crept towards the closet post while trying not to be seen and climbed up it, perching herself at the top in a crouch as she prepared to pounce.

"Hey!" she shouted. "In case you forgot, I'm your opponent here!"

And then she sprang up, legs kicking off the post to propel her into the air. Her aim? To land flat atop Speranza and squish her to the ground.

Speranza was too distracted to see what Keira was doing. It wasn't until it was too late that Keria's attack landed, and Speranza fell flat on the ground.

Speranza is not herself this March. She is not in the right mindset at all. Ma…. No, it's not worth it. Not worth saying her name.



Speranza slowly starts to get back up. She can't do much if she can't see Keira at this time. She has to hope she gets up in time.

Keira's flying attack had worked perfectly. She and Speranza crashed to the mat together with a heavy thump. Her opponent had been entirely distracted, and took that surprise attack as a result.

Once Keira got her attention, however, she wasted no time in trying to stand again. Keira had to act fast if she wanted to keep her down. And there wasn't much she could do to throw her out from this position, so it would have to be a direct attack herself.

If she were fast enough, Keira would send a kick at Speranza's chest, hoping to drop her back to the mat. And if that worked, Keira would crawl closer, putting herself into position to wrap her legs around Speranza's neck, trying to lock in a headscissor.
