Mandi would grab her opponent's hair, with a wicked smirk, she wanted Bengal to taste her own move, Mandi leaning Bengal against the ropes before attempting to trap Bengal's hand between the middle ropes, hoping this worked so that she could deliver a flurry of punches to Bengal's stomach so that she could get a taste of her own move

Bengal's scalp prickled with pain as Mandi yanked on her hair, throwing her against the ropes. A second later, her wrist was twisted roughly as the Dark Phoenix pushed her hand behind the elastic, trapping the Tiger in place. "Gyaaah!" Bengal yowled, trying to wriggle her hand out of Mandi's grip. The young woman's slender fingers were surprisingly strong; she felt as if she'd been handcuffed. "Sneaky bitch-" she hissed, only to be cut off as the Dark Phoenix blasted a furious punch into her stomach! The Tiger barely had enough time to flex her abdominal muscles, trying to brace herself. Even so, Mandi's fist dug in deep, bruising her ribs and forcing her to exhale sharply.

"OOOF!" Bengal slumped over, a thin line of spit trickling from her slack-jawed mouth and onto her heaving chest. Only her trapped wrist, still wrapped around the ropes, kept her from collapsing completely. Mandi continued her assault, bouncing Bengal back and forth against the elastic with a furry of blows. The Tiger tried to keep up a brave face, but she knew she couldn't withstand this kind of punishment for long. She could hear the water in the pool behind her lapping against the side of the arena, far too close for comfort. If she couldn't free herself from her opponent's clutches, she'd likely be taking a swim pretty soon.

As Mandi drew back her arm for another punch, Bengal lashed out with her free hand, clawing the other woman between the legs! Her sharpened nails easily pierced through the thin black fabric of Mandi's bikini, as she squeezed her hand shut with all the force she could muster. Always a step ahead, the Tiger made sure to angle her attack in such a way that the referee's view was blocked by Mandi's body, preventing the official from calling the illegal move. Hopefully, this maneuver would force Mandi back, allowing Bengal to untangle her arm from the ropes.

Mandi's eyes would widen as she stumbled back, holding her crotch in pain, her teeth clenched as she fought back tears of pure pain, her opponent's nails dug deep and she could feel it after a bit of deep breathing she would manage to recover, Clone running up next to his sister as he whispered

"you okay?"

Mandi clenched her teeth as she looked at Cline

"I'll be fine when she's swimming"

Mandi would say as she got into a defensive stance, ready for whatever Bengal wanted to throw at her next

Bengal took a step away from the edge of the pool, rubbing her bruised stomach, as Mandi staggered back. She arched one eyebrow as she saw her opponent whisper something to the referee, but was unable to make out the words. "What are you doing? He can't help you, you know," she sneered cruelly. "Nobody can."

The Dark Phoenix didn't respond. She just assumed a fighting stance, raising her clenched fists. Bengal did the same, before suddenly crouching low and leaping forward, aiming to tackle Mandi to the canvas with a spear!

Mandi would end up being tackled down, gritting her teeth as she attempted to land a hard punch at Bengal's stomach in order to push her away hoping that will be enough to give herself enough space to recover and plan out a counter attack

Bengal's spear hit its mark perfectly, knocking Mandi off her feet and down to the mat. The Tiger straddled her opponent, preparing to wrap her hands around the other woman's narrow throat - only to be driven back as quickly as she'd came, as Mandi landed another devastating punch to her unprotected stomach! It hurt even more the second time. Bengal rolled away, clutching her midsection, feeling furious at herself for letting the Dark Phoenix surprise her yet again.

She fought through the pain, then spun around on the canvas like a breakdancer, trying to sweep Mandi's legs out from under her. If she succeeded, she'd follow up by catching her opponent in an agonizing heel hook! A submission move like that couldn't win the match for her, given the stipulation. But it would wear the Dark Phoenix down, making her an easier target.

Mandi would end up tripping down to the ground before her opponent suddenly grabbed her leg, locking it into a hard submission hold as she kicked at Bengal with her other foot, attempting to escape in anyway she could think up, knowing exactly what her opponent was doing she knew that she couldn't stay in Bengal's deathgrip for long

Bengal kept her heel hook locked in as long as she could, before Mandi's overwhelming kicks forced her to let go. She rolled away and quickly kipped back to her feet, wondering if she'd done enough damage to make a difference. She watched her opponent carefully, gauging how long it took her to get to her feet. If she was moving slowly, it could be a sign that she was injured.

The Tiger decided to taunt the Dark Phoenix, trying to goad her into making a reckless attack. She bent down and scooped up a handful of water from the puddle that had been tracked into the ring, then flicked drops of it at Mandi's face. "That's just a taste of what's waiting for you," Bengal crowed, "When I throw you into that pool!"

Mandi would end up slowly get up, methodically, she knew that her opponent was trying to get her to be reckless which is why Mandi wouldn't give her the satisfaction of angering her, she knew that that beyond anything would anger Bengal even more

"is that your best plan? Pathetic taunts? I need to train my sister better if you're the person who she lost too"

Just to rub salt on the wound knowing exactly what she was doing as she prepared for an attack from the headstrong indian woman

Bengal scowled angrily. Mandi's dismissive attitude had touched a nerve in her, even if she'd never admit it out loud. "If you waste your time 'training' with trash like that," she fired back, "You're going to lose just as fast as she did!"

With that, she lashed out with one of her taut legs, seeming to aim a kick at the Dark Phoenix's ribs. But her knee twisted in midair at the last instant, changing the angle of attack toward Mandi's chin instead! Would the deception be effective? Or would the other woman see it coming from a heel like Bengal, and duck out of the way?
