Ivy was most certainly not left wanting for acting out of Kanako as the Lightweight wailed in agony and terror at thee Brit's faux finisher. If anything, Kanako may bee overselling the hold, as Ivy could not recall anybody reacting quite this intensely. Still, Ivy was being given exactly what she had asked for, so she saw no reason to complain about the performance.

You should've ended this while you had the chance, but you just weren't good enough to seal the deal, were you?"

Back then she'd allowed Ivy to take the initiative, which had promptly lead to her getting beaten down by the aristocrat's strikes, so this time Kanako would dash off to take the initiative.
