Elena "Dozer" Walker [D] vs "Thunder Ryuko" Ryuko Yoshida

The escape was a close one. A second late or even a minor hijink could have had an entirely different outcome of the current series of events. Elena, holding her head leaning against the ropes, had managed to evade Ryuko's charge and was now in a position to rest for maybe a moment or two. The Japanese woman had completely missed her mark to crash into the ringpost, the sound of which was loud and strident enough for most of the front-row seat to wince collectively.

Ryuko stumbled out of her muddle, all at sea from the miscue. She wasn't looking like the same force of nature who had pounded a migraine into Elena's head, but someone who was open to be taken to the cleaners. Elena, clenched her knuckles and pushed herself off the cables, frustration and anguish pricking at her. Grabbing Ryuko by the back of her top and her waist, the blonde would throw her into the ringpost again, before pulling her back and repeating the action, thus focusing her assault on her shoulders!

Ryuko felt herself grabbed and unable to stop it she was used like a battering ram, sent crashing painfully into the ring post! "ARGH!" Ryuko howled as her body went limp and she slumped in the corner before turning only to drop to her knees. She grabbed her aching shoulder and shook her head while a look of pain was etched on her face. She was hurting and it was evident as she had lost the momentum with Elena in control of the match at this point! Ryuko's hot start had evaporated with her miscue that Elena took full advantage of.

The ringpost crash repeatedly had scuppered all the energy out of the former Wrestling Angel, who shoulders were almost looking shattered as she slumped onto her knees. Elena was slowing starting to balance herself without having to hold her head every few seconds, her vision and hearing looking on the mend.

Seeing Ryuko at her mercy, Elena sighed in relief; not having to look behind her should for any attack. But now, Ryuko would suffer the same fate that the blonde had. Elena would rain blows onto her head repeatedly while towering over the Japanese, before quickly taking a stride backwards to go for a Superkick! which would hit with such force the Ryuko's head would be bashed against the middle-turnbuckle!

Ryuko was getting rocked hard by Elena and covering up trying her best to defend herself but it was no use as the larger heavyweight hammered away at the reeling Ryuko! The thunder empress then stumbled about before getting rocked by the super kick sending her slumping back against the ropes in a total heap! Ryuko moaned and meekly kicked her legs against the mat a couple times as her head bobbed with her looking like she was out of it and unable to get up let alone fight back at this point as she had been hit hard very quickly.

Elena faltered backwards, haviing balanced herself on one leg momentarily to go for a kick aimed at Ryuko's face. The kick connected brilliantly with the Japanese's woman's head meeting the middle-turnbuckle, which let out a squeak out of the equipment. She breathed in heavy, panting bursts trying to steady herself; resting her palms over her bent knees, which were moving in a bit of a tremble.

"Gaarh! RRRh.." Now it was time to push back and not wallow in pain. Elena grunted, pushing against her palms, her head still throbbing, but mellowed enough for her to walk without crumbling. Seeing Ryuko seated against the lower rope, legs apread apart and reeling from the offense, Elena would grab her ankles, pushing her up before abruptly lifting her body with force such that her contact with the ropes would be lost and be suspended in the air for a moment.
Elena planned capitalize on it by bringing her arms to wrap around her thighs and drop down into a seated position, thus slamming Ryuko onto the mat with an Alley-Oop Powerbomb!

Ryuko knew she was in trouble as she was grabbed. As she was lift up she was familiar with this position and clamped her legs around Elena's head and tried to quickly turn this into a hurricanrana counter to try to save herself from the painful impact of a powerbomb! It was a desperate attempt but one she knew she had to succeed in or she would be in lots of pain!

Everything seemed to go smoothly for Elena. She had managed to half Ryuko's charge and retaliated with grit to leave the former Wrestling Angel to slump against the corner. With the next part of her offense, Elena had actually planned to go for cover to see how much Ryuko had left in the tank but alas! that did not happen.Ryuko wrapped her legs around the blonde's head as she was lifted up for the Powerbomb and had attempted for the Hurricanrana, which was successful; just not the way the Japanese woman had probably anticipated.

A Hurricanrana would generally mean that the wrestler receiving it would have been flipped over and landed on their back on neck. But maybe it was due to the desperation to escape or the transition of the hold, Elena's feet did not get lifted off the ground and rather was whipped into the cornerpost from the momentum generated to clash her head with the top-buckle."Gyahh!"The ache flared up again forcing Elena to clutch her head while supporting her stance by leaning against the corner with the arms draped over the top-rope and her back facing Ryuko, who was now in a prime position to get some heavy hits in...

Ryuko didn't quite pull off the move the way she wanted but seeing Elena in the corner seemingly dazed worked out just the same for the thunder empress. Ryuko stood up and waste no time in going for something big, she had to in order to take control of the match. She lift Elena up onto the turnbuckle in a sitting position before climbing, landing a few hard shots to the abdomen along the way to keep her in line. Ryuko would then grab hold of Elena and lift attempting to superplex her from the top rope down onto the mat below!

Pain. Brain Burning. Skull rattling. These were the sensations that could be used to describe Elena's current state of the head. It was commendable that she was still standing but the Hurricanrana had brought the dormant ache back up to the surface and Elena was writhing. Both her hands were wrapped around the side of her head, clutching her hair tightly to find a semblance of relief, bit it was not to be. But the matters were about to be made even worse. Ryuko positioned her to sit ont the top-turnbuckle, all the while Elena was still grappling with the pain; eyes sealed shut and teeth grinding hard over each other.

"Ahh..Grr..Agh..AOOORRGHHH!!!" Her flat stomach rippled with each abdominal shot Ryuko aimed and compounded with the agonising sensation inside her skull, she was in no position to resists to being thrown back down onto the mat for a Superplex! A gut-wrenching howl shook the entire arena when the blonde made contact with the mat and even bounced slighty before landing. Elena eyes looked glazed over, the spotlights blinding her sight but she was unable to even move a muscle, laying motionless breathing irregularly...

The loud crashing of their bodies coming down along with Elena's body language told Ryuko that this was a good chance to go for a pin, to see if she had done enough to keep Elena down for three! Ryuko rolled over on top of Elena and reached over to hook a leg pulling it tight. She slapped the mat once as the official slid in to place to position themself to count the pin.

"ONE!"

Ryuko pressed down and held her breath, not sure if the surprise display would be what she needed to keep this woman down...
