Hollywood vs. Idol: Clash of Celebrities Contract Signing (for CaptainL)

Suddenly, the titantron sprung to life with just a few simple words that flashed across the screen. The words that were no doubt from the demon master of The Selection. It seems he didn’t even need to make a presence in order for his authority to be felt. The crowd were just confused what the Selection wanted with Sanae or Kennedy. Kennedy was using mind games to break down Sanae so they could understand her trying to feel superior in the realms of psychology, but Sanae was another story entirely. Was this for Lyra’s benefit? Did Lyra truly want to protect her? Why through the Selection, though, when they made it known everyone in LAW was their enemies? This was a contract signing between these two women for their match at We Are LAW 7 and now, it feels a dark aura was surrounding things ready to pull any strings necessary to get a preferred result. Kennedy gasped looking up at the screen that said the following.

AT. WE. ARE. LAW. THE. WINNER. WILL. BE. HUNTED. THE. LOSER. SHALL. BE. SAVED.

The lights came back on and Kennedy gasped not seeing the Jackals or Lyra around. No Kanon or Jonathan as well. Everyone disappeared like they were in a predictable slasher flick. Kennedy looked around the ring not daring to step a foot out of it for caution that those freaks were hiding under the ring. She looked at Sanae with a growl and shouted her last words.

“I don’t care if they get involved in our match. That’s your funeral. I’ll see you at We Are LAW,” Kennedy declared before she barked to a ring worker to contact security for her to escort her out of the arena.

Right after Jonathan had announced himself, the screen went dark, and once again, the world around Sanae was plunged into blackness. It was only a second later that those words lit up across the screen. And the whole way through, Sanae sat there, transfixed motionlessly to her seat. All she could do was stare up at the screen, her eyes wide and her face pale. The game had changed - nothing was what she could expect any more. The thought of going up against Kennedy was already an intimidating thought, but now Sanae was staring down something even bigger and more terrifying. What did the Selection want from her? And what would happen if she won? How did she play into their twisted games? A million questions danced through her mind, and not a single answer.

As soon as the lights came back on, Sanae looked left and right, scanning the ring for any sign of the Selection. But of course, they were gone before they could offer any answers. Of course, it wasn't going to be that simple; she felt stupid for even thinking it could be! She thought she had finally been pushed to the point of standing up for herself, just to prove to Kennedy that she could, but once again, the green-haired idol had been plunged into a world of fear and uncertainty. And until We Are LAW came, she wasn't going to get any closure. Would she get anything even after the match?

Even when Kennedy got up and walked away, Sanae said nothing. She couldn't. She didn't even move - all she could do was stare off glassy-eyed into the distance. All she could do was await the match ahead of her...and hope for the best.
