Injecting Life: Mary Green vs Finlay Zeffer

Finlay was in a bad position as he was choked by Mary but it wasn't one that he couldn't come back from. Managing to get his bearings and push himself up to a standing position while holding onto the woman's thighs which seemed to be enough to distract her, at least momentarily. That was all he needed to run at the corner and turn at the last moment, slamming her into it to force her into releasing her grips! Sighing in relief as the move had its intended affect Finlay would rest against Mary's body for a moment before stepping forward and turning towards her, grabbing her by the shoulders in order to pull her down a bit before wrapping his arms around her waist and then throwing himself backwards to try and slam Mary with a gut wrench suplex!

Mary breathed hard and panted in the corner groaning as her back hurt her so much. The one body part that her age wouldn’t spare when it came to her wrestling and teaching careers. It’s why she tends to sit down more when it comes to her academia schooling and why online classes tend to be easier for her. Mary also blushed as Finaly leaned against her and she felt his bulging muscles against her arms making her admire the view for a few seconds before Finaly grabbed her and bended her forward. Finaly wrapped his large arms around Mary’s waist and before Mary could protest, she was lifted in an arch upside down before slammed on her beaten back as she sat up crying out in pain and whimpering going on her side to alleviate some pressure!

Managing to force Mary into releasing her hold Finlay would breathe a soft sigh of relief before turning and pulling Mary under his grip, pulling her out of the corner and turning to slam her with the gut wrench suplex! Managing to lay the woman out Finlay noted the amount of pain she seemed to be in and how concentrated it seemed to be on her back. Useful but.. he didn't want to exploit that, a small part of him feeling a little bad for the older woman. Tsking to himself he would move forward, not wanting to let Mary be able to breathe, but thinking he'd likely done enough as he moved Mary onto her back and grabbed one of her legs, pulling it back while leaning against her chest to fold her in a a pin fall attempt!

Finaly hooked one of Mary’s legs going for the pin thinking it was over for the science teacher.

“1! 2!” The ref counted, but at 2.5 is when Mary got her shoulder up to a big pop from the crowd! She was hurt, but not down on her back for long!

Mary still had her back issue to work out and she would have to lay there breathing heavily. She was too hurt right now and needed to wait for an exploitation in Finaly’s offense. Mary had to hope that Finaly would get cocky enough to think he had her pegged before she could spring a counter on him. The driver’s seat belonged to Finaly still.

Finlay had the pin secured tight, he knew he did, but it just wasn't enough it seemed as despite what he thought possible the Science teacher kicked out suddenly! Forced up by the force of the surprising burst of resistance Finlay would huff slightly, breathing heavily as he looked down at the older woman shocked. "OK then... a bit more then." He said to himself, pushing himself to his feet and bending down to grab Mary by the ankle, dragging her to the ropes and once done he'd move to climb the corner, turning to face his opponent before jumping up, intending to come down on top of Mary's body for a frog splash!

As if praying for divine intervention like she did Sundays at church, Mary got her wishes answered by her lord. Finaly gave her a few seconds to breathe as he dragged her over to the corner and he went up top, but Mary was going to milk this quickly. As soon as Finaly went for a frog splash, Mary rolled to the outside letting Finaly hit his stomach on the hard mat beneath him with nothing to cushion it! Mary still couldn’t capitalize due to her back and the referee ordered her to get back in the ring starting the count, but she had a few moments to spare for her back. Mary held her head against the ring apron hoping to recover just a little bit longer before resuming the match.

Finlay had leapt off the corner, attempting to go for a high risk, high reward move that would see him facing the consequences of the risk, crashing into the mat and recoiling as a result of the blow, leaving him breathless and gasping in pain, holding his ribs and wincing. 'Damn it...' He thought to himself, looking to the outside and seeing that Mary had rolled there to recover. Tsking softly he would push himself up to a standing position, gesturing for Mary to rejoin him in the ring, but not going out of his way to force her back in with him. Instead he would wait for her to meet him.

Mary spared herself some seconds as the referee argued with her to get back in the ring. Finaly seemed to take pity on her or at least give her the break she desired. Mary cracked her back earning her another spine chill and a little whimper before cracking her neck and shaking loose her arms. She rolled back in at 8 narrowly avoiding a count-out loss as she glared down Finaly getting her fists up. Mary stood her ground and she breathed in and out clearly drawing on exhaustion, but willing to push to keep herself alive in this match.

“Thanks for letting me have my break, but it’s back to work. I have a new experiment to try out,” Mary stated.

[Bare]

Taking a step back and allowing Mary her break Finlay would watch her carefully, making sure she wouldn't try any tricks but it seemed she just genuinely need a breather. Perhaps because of her age but no matter. All that mattered was that he won and that it wasn't by a count out. Just as he was about to exit the ring himself to restart the count would be when Mary would slid back in thanking him and seemingly being ready. Nodding slightly he would put his hands back up. "Hope you're ready then." He said as he moved back in, ducking low and thrusting his arm forward to try and deliver a punch directly to Mary's stomach!

Mary needed to be extra careful as she could be on the verge of not being able to kick out the next time a pin is possible. She’s tired, but she won’t go down without a proper fight and she respected Finaly more to give him that true fight in a win or loss scenario. Mary ducked to the right as he tried charging for her and she went in for a rollup pin grabbing him under the groin to roll his legs up! The referee got down to count “1! 2!” but Mary surprised the crowd releasing the pin willingly! The referee was also perplexed as she barely counted two when Mary released the count, but she stood back up to let the match continue. Mary had to set the foundation for her experiment so the roll up was never meant to try and get a fast win over Finaly. He probably wouldn’t be happy with her trying to win off an easy route and she wasn’t going to cut corners on her work. When Finaly sat up, Mary would back up and go for a Basement Dropkick right into the chest!
