Legacies Clash: Blanco Sombra vs. Danny Haines

“Ugh, damn …” Blanco moaned, the world a blur around him as he felt the bigger Danny peel him up off the mat. By the time Blanco came back to reality, his legs were already dangling up in the air as Danny hefted him up and over, with the gorilla press!

“Ah!” Blanco cried out as Danny dropped him, nothing he could do but come down hard with his already-aching abs hitting the man’s hard knee! “AAAUGH!!” Blanco was rocked off Danny’s knee, bouncing off, rolling to his back as he clutched his aching abs. The younger man wasted no time rolling over Blanco, pinning him to the canvas.

“ONE!”

Blanco groaned, taking a deep breath. He tensed his body, wanting to just take one shot at this.

“TW-“

Blanco thrust his hips, slamming his boots into the mat so he could bridge out of the pin and get his shoulders up. Thrashing around to kick out was a waste of energy, but this way he was able to break the pin decisively, without exhausting himself. The luchador tried to roll away from Danny, still wincing as he held his aching abs, but at least still alive in the match …

Both Dan and his aunt ringside were aghast at Blanco's quick kickout. That move was usually a near knockout for Dan and this guy didn't even stay down for two. The scowl on his face made his frustration apparent while Alaina was patting the ring apron mouthing "calm down, stay focused" to him silently. Both wrestler and bystanding champion cracked small smiles at Alaina's words given her recent actions with Holly.

Danny grabbed Blanco up and while he wanted to whip him to the ropes or the corner he knew a counter there would put Blanco in a position to fly where he was most dangerous. Instead Danny got solid hold of him lifting him up and spinning as he draped Blanco across his shoulders. He stopped and jumped up leaning to the side to drop Blanco down hard with an elevated Death Valley Driver!

“Uuhn …” Blanco moaned, rolling over after the kickout. He wouldn’t have time to collect himself, however, as a frustrated Danny grabbed him and peeled the more slender luchador off the canvas. Blanco’s body went up and onto Danny’s broad shoulders easily, unable to put up any resistance as Danny got on the move. At ringside, Holly gasped, eyes going wide as she stared in horror at the ring. Whatever was about to happen to her man, it couldn’t be good!

“N-no …” Blanco groaned, kicking his legs weakly as Danny rushed in, and jumped up into the air! Blanco’s body went up and over, then slammed hard into the mat as Danny drilled him into the canvas with the Death Valley Driver! Blanco’s body was rocked off, and he hissed in pain as he braced his lower back with his forearm. Blanco grimaced in pain, kicking the mat, breathing hard as he tried to push through the pain.

Danny had an idea and one that he thought would do a number on Blanco while he could show off a bit of a legacy move in the family. Danny grabbed Blanco and shoved his head between his legs before grabbing him around the waist. He was going to lift Blanco up and then send him crashing down with a jacknife powerbomb which was a very close variant to his bystander aunt Alaina's amabomb! He was trying to go for the pin right here expecting that this could hammer the fight right out of his opponent.

Danny was going to lift then send Blanco crashing down, and if successful he would go right for the pin against Blanco hoping that this was it!

Blanco was in trouble, writhing in pain on the mat with Danny already on the move. Before the luchador knew it, his head was tucked between Danny’s strong legs, and his waist was clenched. Danny yanked the luchador up and over, swinging his body onto Danny’s broad shoulders, where he hung looking around in shock.
At ringside, Holly was beside herself. She leaned in, her ample bosom flopped onto the ring apron as she stared in fear at the action in the ring. She gripped the bottom rope, biting her lip, eyes glued to the action, praying Blanco would swingout. There was no time, however, as Danny swiftly swung Blanco down and splattered his slender body onto the mat with a thunderous crash! “NO!” Holly gasped as Danny folded her boyfriend up like a matchbook, pinning him!

“ONE!”

Blanco groaned, arms dangling overhead. He could feel Danny’s weight on top of him, knew what was happening. His head was swimming, and his body aching …

“TWO!”

Holly shook the ropes, and Blanco took a deep breath. He opened his eyes to see Holly, and the fans on the edge of their seats. Was this it? Was this the end of him?
“NO!” Blanco thrust his hips up, pushing through the flaring pain in his back, right before the ref could count three. Blanco rolled to his side, shoulders heaving as he gasped for air. Danny was throwing bombs, now, shifting the match into a new gear, and Blanco had to try and keep up!

Dan shook his head in frustration as Blanco kicked out. What did he have to do to this guy to keep him down? Dan got up and yanked Blanco by the arm, stepping towards the ropes. Danny sent him running towards the ropes across the ring while taking off running the opposite way. Danny and Blanco were running at each other and Danny wanted to extend his arm and behead Blanco with a lariat sending him crashing to the mat! There was no way he would get up after that right? Danny was frustrated and looking to crush Blanco, hoping that the attack connected.

Blanco was reeling as Danny yanked him off the mat. The bigger man was starting to get frustrated, as he whipped Blanco’s body into the ropes. The frustration worked out for Blanco, however, giving him just enough room to think and breathe. If Danny had kept smashing Blanco into the canvas like he was, the luchador would be screwed, but now he had enough room to move, to come up with an escape … if he could just will his aching body to pull it off!

Danny threw a lariat at Blanco that could nearly decapitate him, if it connected … so instead, Blanco went into a desperation move, leaping into the air as he reached Danny. Leaping sideways, Blanco let Danny’s arm hit his chest the long way, clutching Danny’s arm in both arms. Instead of trying to resist, however, Blanco followed through on Danny’s incredible momentum, and as he did so he swung his legs up and clasped his legs around Danny’s neck! Blanco spun backward, twisting down and pulling to flip Danny up and over, brinding him to the mat with a spinning headscissor takedown! The two men would hit the mat hard, and Blanco would crank on the captured arm to try and hyper-extend it with a surprise arm bar, grinding Danny’s powerful limb against his lithe figure to crank and punish him with the hold!

That didn't go as planned....

Danny as sent crashing to the mat and his arm painfully yanked! He kicked the mat, thrashing about as he was really stuck in that hold! He howled in pain and tried to reach over to grab the arm that was held with his free arm. He was going to try to power his way back to his feet with Blanco hanging on to his arm. Danny was in agony at this point knowing that his shoulder and arm were going to be hurting quite a bit. However he wanted to pull off an impressive counter of his own trying to rise up and then send Blanco crashing hard to the mat before Blanco could react! However even if he escapes he knew his arm was shot...

Blanco wrenched on the hold for dear life, the hold locked in and his body torqued hard to extend that arm as roughly as he could. Blanco knew he wouldn’t have long to work the arm bar, so he had to make every moment that he was able to keep it locked in, count.

As expected, bigger and buffer Danny wasn’t going to just let this happen. He started to lean back, pulling Blanco sharply off the mat and then smashing him hard into the mat! The slam wasn’t as technically sound as the earlier bombs Danny was throwing, but Blanco wasn’t about to sit there taking them. The luchador released the hold as soon as he hit the mat, rolling with the impact of his back hitting the mat to roll over to the ropes. Blanco draped his arm and head over the bottom rope, taking deep recovering breaths. At ringside, Holly rushed to him, patting his cheek and trying to get her luchador to stay with her, despite the pounding he’d been taking. Blanco hung there, nodding his head that he was okay … at least for a certain value of the word ‘okay.’

Danny's arm and shoulder throbbed. He felt like something might have popped and he was in a lot of pain. He needed to come up with more technical counters. Ringside Alaina was pounding on the apron and urging him on so he stood up rubbing his hurt shoulder. Danny ran towards Blanco on the ropes and jumped, leading with his legs and trying to dropkick Blanco through the bottom and middle rope to the outside of the ring! He was going to try to keep hammering Blanco but this was tough as he effectively was short one arm.
