Misa might as well have been running for her life. It didn't take long for it to dawn on her that she was hopelessly out of her league - the fight she was putting up against Aaliyah, if it could even be called that, was downright pitiful, and when she could hardly stand up to a manager-and-ring-announcer-turned-wrestler with little experience to her name thus far, she outright didn't stand a chance against a woman as ruthless and as terrifying as Viper Hoshiwara. She dived out of the ring and ran right for the barricades as fast as she could; Aaliyah might have tried to snatch at her on her way by, but Misa was moving so quickly she slipped through her fingers without even trying. Her burst of speed could only get her so far, though. A moment later, the adrenaline cleared her system, and almost immediately, her body felt heavy and her legs felt like jelly. Gasping and panting, she threw herself against the barricades, leaning up against them as she desperately gulped down air. And when she looked up, she could see Viper storming toward her. Her face never betraying the slightest hint of emotion, all she did was plod slowly forward, but that was enough. Misa could feel every heavy footstep, and the weight in Viper's glare fell heavy on her shoulder. When the deathmatch veteran reached down and pulled a switchblade from her boot, flicking it out, Misa's fingers wrapped tighter around the barricade as her heart beat faster in her chest. Now, she felt, she truly knew what it was like to stare death right in the face.

The announcer glanced left and right; she could feel her heart thumping faster and faster in her chest. She couldn't stay here for long - she couldn't let Viper catch up to her, or there would surely be hell to pay! But when she was in the arena, there was only so far she could run - and only so much stamina she had in her to run with. Her knees began to knock together as her legs sagged wearily beneath her. Viper was just coming closer and closer, and her eyes seemed to stare straight into Misa's soul. She had to run away...but where could she run to, at this point?

Just then, though...Misa had an idea.

"YUKINO!!"

A few gasps and cheers could be heard as all eyes turned to the entrance ramp - and out there stepped Yukino Fuyumi, of the Idol Dragons! Not only was she an idol like Misa had been in her prime, the announcer had also managed her team - and now, she was here to return the favor! Misa knew she would be in danger going into this match, and she and Yukino had made plans, just in case her intervention became necessary. But if there was ever a time to call on Yukino, it would be now. Now, Aaliyah had escalated the fight by bringing Viper into the fray - and Misa was going to even the score!

Yukino wasted no time in coming to her manager's need. Viper had stopped to look back over her shoulder at the sudden noise, and that was all the time the Winter Idol needed! She came racing down the ramp as fast as she could, and when she came close, she hurled herself through the air, plowing feet-first into Viper to take her to the ground with a dropkick! Then, as she rolled back to her feet, she circled around to take point in front of Misa, her arms spread wide as she assumed a protective stance.

"Enough! You're not getting away with this!" Her eyes narrowed on Aaliyah; she was ready to bring the fight to her too, if it called for it!

Aaliyah growled in frustration as she had forgotten that Misa recently teamed up with those inferior and annoying Idol Dragons. She wasn’t the least bit worried about that Nashi girl since Aaliyah believed she was a lost cause, but Yukino had proven herself better enough to challenge for the Openweight Championship meaning she commanded a little respect for her efforts. Aaliyah snorted as Yukino stood in front of Misa staring down the former manager.

I should have known that drunk would hide behind some lesser talent. And of course, it has to be a trashy idol. Birds of the same feathers share the same brain cells as well. Viper, keep that winter whore busy while I crush Misa’s skull!” Aaliyah commanded.

If Viper tackled Yukino away, Aaliyah would try going for a lariat to launch both her and Misa into the crowd area!

Re: Misa Otomura vs. Aaliyah Blackwell - No-DQ I Quit Match

Misa thought that she'd cracked the code. No DQ meant there was nothing stopping her from bringing in interference or using weapons, and if one of those weapons was another wrestler, well, that was entirely on the table as well. If she went into even a regular match against someone more trained than she was, she could well come out crippled for life - or worse. The fact that Aaliyah would be capable of using dirty tactics too only put Misa in even more danger. But if she had Yukino to stand up for her...suddenly, this whole ordeal didn't seem quite as daunting. She could still turn it around. She could still win. And maybe even still be able to walk at the end of it all.

Now, Yukino had come to her rescue just when she needed her most. The announcer slowly caught her breath as she hung back behind Yukino. At the thought of how narrowly she'd avoided disaster, a weary smile came to her face...but any relief she might have felt vanished just a moment later, when Aaliyah accused her of hiding behind someone else. Her eyes went wide and her face paled - but worst of all, Misa knew that Aaliyah was right. If she had to rely on Yukino to solve her problems, she really wasn't standing up for herself, was she? If anything, she was just putting her client in the middle of harm's way - she winced as she heard the insults Aaliyah was throwing in her direction. "D-Don't talk about her like that-!" she blurted out - but the damage was already done. If anything happened to Yukino now...Misa knew all too well it'd be on her hands.

Beyond that, Yukino and Misa had been distracted for long enough for Aaliyah to spring her attack. It was just then that Viper lunged with a lightning-quick strike, throwing her shoulder into Yukino and hurling her to the ground - which meant that Misa, in turn, was wide open to Aaliyah's offense! She let out a scream as she saw Aaliyah coming closer; it was too late to get out of the way, so all she could do was prepare herself for the worst. Aaliyah came crashing into her at full force, and Misa was dragged down for the ride with her, as she was flung off her feet and over the barricade!

The two of them came clattering to the floor with a thud. Misa hissed and winced at the impact against her spine, but she knew she couldn't stop now - to leave herself open around Aaliyah was asking for trouble! Her mind sprung for the first thing she could do - and she shot out with both hands, looking to grab a handful of Aaliyah's hair in each as her legs kicked wildly at her sides. It wasn't the most refined or dignified of moves, but Misa was scrambling to do something here - and dignity came second to ensuring she could deal out as much damage as she could while preserving herself in the process!

At the same time, Yukino grit her teeth as she landed beneath Viper. She knew all too well that the deathmatch veteran would surely go after her manager if she let her - and even if she didn't have much hope for Misa to win this match anyway, she knew that leaving her at Viper's mercy would be far too dangerous to allow! Throwing her weight over in the air, she would attempt to roll the two of them over to bring Viper onto her stomach with Yukino on top, then laced her arm around Viper's own to hold down a kimura lock! The green-haired girl's face contorted in pain as Yukino held down as much force as she could, but her gaze constantly flit back and forth, looking back at where Misa was engaged with Aaliyah. She was still just trying to buy time for her manager - and she hoped that would work!

Misa and Aaliyah went flying over the barricade into the crowd area as Aaliyah landed on her side with a thud. Aaliyah grunted as she landed on the concrete and it did hurt her quite a lot considering she hadn’t done many spots on the blank surface. She was definitely more used to the ring canvas more than anything. Misa got up first and started making her way over to Aaliyah grabbing her hair with a rough yank and then Aaliyah started feeling her sides flare up with pain as Misa kicked her hard! Aaliyah actually gasped and grunted from the pain as it combined with her already hurting side from impacting on the concrete!

GRRRRR! I’m gonna-agh-kick your drunk-agh-ass, you-fuck-idol bitch!” Aaliyah managed to blurt out, but Misa had her held down surprisingly.

At this point, Misa was just flailing. She held onto Aaliyah as tightly as she could, clinging to her for dear life - it was the best she could do, when their struggle was spinning out of control. Her efforts were sloppy and untrained, and it was readily apparent that she didn't have the same sort of discipline and experience that Aaliyah did, no matter how new the announcer was to wrestling. But Misa knew that running away wasn't going to solve anything either. Aaliyah had brought the fight to her, and she was determined to finish it. Misa had no choice but to rise to the challenge to match - and as the two of them fell over the barricade and into the crowd, she was going to do whatever it would take to stand up for herself!

To Misa's credit, though, she was actually seeming to do something! Aaliyah was still reeling and gasping for air after her landing, and in her blind frenzy, Misa had been able to scramble up on top of her, keeping her down under her weight. She might have thrown plenty of invective in Misa's direction, but she didn't have it in her to back it up with her fists! At first, when she realized what was going on, the former idol looked down at her opponent wide-eyed and in shock. Was this...actually working? All she was really trying to do was keep herself afloat, but it was proving far more effective than she'd bargained for. She never would have imagined she would end up in the dominant position here - but, at the same time, she would take it! A grin flashed across her face than as she shifted her weight forward, going to hold Aaliyah down beneath her. If she was winning now, that was proof she still had a chance! She just had to reach out and take it!

"Nngh..! Just...give up, already-!" she sputtered. She let go of Aaliyah's hair just enough to grab for her throat instead, looking to apply a double-handed choke as hard as she could! If worst came to worst, she could always try to choke Misa out!

Aaliyah had to admit defeat on the point that she thought this would be a total loss for the idol drunk. She was actually putting up a fight no matter how pathetic one might see her offense. It actually made her really question just how far Misa was willing to go considering she was just trying to defend herself with whatever came to mind. Had Aaliyah underestimated her opponent after all these years? Hell no! Misa may be on top, but she is still just a drunk! Aaliyah wasn’t going to be her bitch either!

As Misa reached out to choke her opponent, Aaliyah hogged a loogie spitting right between Misa’s eyes with saliva! Unbecoming, but it’s not illegal in this match so it worked for Aaliyah. She pushed the idol off her using the barricade to get back up as she followed Misa. Aaliyah then reached down grabbing Misa’s right arm twisting hard in a armbar as the referee maintained her position ready to call the match if this is where Misa wanted to surrender!

Re: Misa Otomura vs. Aaliyah Blackwell - No-DQ I Quit Match

As her fingers wrapped into place around Aaliyah's throat, Misa sucked in a breath, trying to hold herself steady. She could hardly believe she was actually doing this - never in her life did she anticipate she would ever have to try and choke another woman out for the sake of her own skin. For a moment, when she looked down at what she was doing, a shiver went through the ring announcer. She didn't think she was a violent person - she didn't think she had this sort of thing in her. Should she be worried that this came to her so easily? Was it even right?

But she shook that thought out of her head - no, of course it was. Aaliyah had put her up to this match just to make her life hell. She wanted Misa to feel weak and powerless and hopeless, and she wanted her to be shown up in front of the whole world. If there was anyone Misa had reason to fight back against, it was Aaliyah! And, at the end of the day, Misa just wanted to go home - something she knew she could only achieve by bringing Aaliyah down. Sucking a breath in through her teeth, her fingers only clamped down harder. She couldn't stop now - not when she was this close!

But it was just then that something unexpected happened - Aaliyah spat directly into Misa's face! The announcer could never have seen it coming; she barely had any time to react before something was stuck in her eye! Letting go of Aaliyah, she fell back, clutching at her face and rubbing at her eyes in an attempt to clear her vision. But in doing so, she was forced to relinquish her grip on Aaliyah. And Aaliyah was going to take full advantage of that.

Misa had just about managed to get the spit out of her eye when one of her arms was suddenly jerked to the side! She looked over with a gasp just in time to see Aaliyah's thighs latch into place around her bicep, setting up an armbar! Misa only had a few precious seconds to act, and all of those were taken up by her freezing up in shock at the realization of what Aaliyah was going to do to her. The next thing she knew, her opponent leaned back, cranking on her arm as hard as she could - and Misa went convulsing from the pain!

She threw back her head, bellowing in agony as her feet kicked wildly in the air. It might've been one of the more common holds as far as wrestling went, but it was nothing Misa was used to - to her, it felt as though Aaliyah was trying to pop her arm right out of its socket! But when the referee leaned in to ask her if she gave up, Misa paused. Had she really come all this way, and come so close, and fought back so hard just to leave with her dignity, all to throw everything away at the last minute? No - she couldn't give up this easily, and she shook her head! "No-!!"

Then, though, another voice spoke up - a voice that made Misa freeze. "Bad move."

For a moment, all the pain Misa felt seemed to fall silent. There was something else that commanded her attention - something greater. She turned toward the source of the noise - and what she saw made her heart drop in her chest. Standing right over her, glaring down on her from over the barricade, was Viper Hoshiwara. She had managed to wrestle herself free of Yukino's grasp, and now, she had come to exert her imposing presence over Misa. When the announcer saw her, a chill ran through her whole body. Viper wasn't doing anything - she was just standing there, her unblinking stare piercing straight through Misa. But even then, Viper's mere presence was enough to make Misa freeze where she lay! Whatever Viper might do next, Misa could be sure it wouldn't be pleasant!

When Aaliyah looked up to see Viper, her gaze went over the barricade seeing Yukino Fuyumi down on the ground shaking her head. Viper successfully got her self out of the idol’s grip and disposed of her for now. No doubt the winter idol would be back so they had to make this quick. Aaliyah let go of Misa’s arm and encouraged Viper to come over the barricade wall into the crowd as she went over to her client and whispered something in her ears.

I think dear Misa here needs a little venom in her system. Snakebite,” Aaliyah whispered seductively with an evil grin as she stepped back to let her client do her dirty work for her.

Re: Misa Otomura vs. Aaliyah Blackwell - No-DQ I Quit Match

The moment Misa looked back and saw Yukino laying dazed on the ground, she sucked in a gulp, her blood running cold. Now, she knew, her one hope of warding off Viper - for all she knew, her one hope of making it out of this alive - was gone. She barely had the skills to fight back against Aaliyah; there was no way she could do anything against a ruthless deatmatch wrestler like Viper Hoshiwara. And Viper was about to strike.

"N-No..." Misa whimpered, trying to crawl backward to get as far as she could from the green-haired girl. But it was no use. Viper watched her with a stern glare, the flat expression on her face never changing as she stormed forward with a few heavy, purposeful footfalls; whenever her boots hit the floor, the thud sent a shiver up Misa's spine. Her heart was pounding faster and faster in her chest, and her breaths quickened. And without even a moment's hesitation, Viper fell to Aaliyah's orders. She nodded her head curtly - and then, in a flash of motion, she swung behind Misa, bringing her legs into her grasp!

Viper fell to work so quickly, Misa barely had any time to process what was happening to her! She let out a gasp, but then her legs were already twisted behind her back, holding them firmly in place as the muscles and tendons in her legs were stretched to the breaking point! She threw her head back to scream, but her voice was almost immediately stifled when Viper locked her arm around her throat, squeezing it tight to wring the air out of her! Her eyes went wide as she gurgled and gasped; she tried to twist and turn, but she could barely move. Misa didn't know how long she could take it - and in desperation, she went to tap her hand out on the ground to signal her submission. In the fervor of the moment, she hadn't even bothered to consider that that wouldn't save her now...

Aaliyah was amused seeing Misa tap out after Viper applied her submission move and the referee almost seemed to tempted to call the match right there. She knew the rules of this match, but Misa’s safety was also top priority as she made a judgement call and tried warning the timekeeper to call it. Aaliyah saw this out of the corner and pushed the referee as the official looked back with a glare.

“You don’t push me!” The official argued.

And you don’t seem to remember this match is no rules! I can push you all I want!” Aaliyah screamed.

“She’s tapping out! You won! Let me do my job!” The official uttered back.

Again, you must be dumber than a box of zombies, because it’s not a submission match. It’s an “I Quit” match so she has to say those words in order to lose properly. And no, I didn’t say those words, because I’m done in this match so don’t even try pulling a fast one. I’ll have Viper end your career right here!” Aaliyah warned the referee.

Little did everyone know, this stalling argument gave Yukino time to recover and maybe get back at Aaliyah and Viper to save her manager….
