Takeshita, initially taken aback by Marine's direct approach, took a deep breath to compose himself before responding.

"Ms. Antoinette, we appreciate your passion for your talent and your brand. We understand the importance of this match to you and your team. Let's work together to find a solution that benefits all parties involved. We will review the terms and conditions and get back to you with a proposal that aligns with everyone's interests."

Despite his initial frustration, Takeshita's tone softened as he acknowledged the need for a collaborative approach. The shift in mood was palpable as the tension in the room began to dissipate. Helen's lighthearted remark added a touch of humor, prompting a few chuckles and easing the atmosphere.

As Helen hugged Christina, the latter responded with a playful shove, gently pushing Helen away with a grin.

"Alright, alright, save some of that energy for the match,"

Christina teased, her tone light and jovial.

Marine quietly smiled. ”Of course, Mr. Takeshita, we await your response.”
Marine hung up and everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Everyone except Alanna, who stormed up to her sister and began speaking French,

”You took a massive risk going that hard with him.”
“It worked, didn’t it?”
“That’s not the point. We would have paid the price, not you! Alanna yelled in English.
”So I took a gamble. It paid off. That’s this business, no?” she replied in English.

”It’s our business. The WRESTLING business. This is not your realm. Why the hell are you here, and not Europe, meddling in our affairs?!”
“BECAUSE YOU’RE HERE AND THE FAMILY IS NOT… My brands are not doing well. I’m being stifled in France. I had to get away and build something for myself. They’re expecting me to fail and crawl back to them on their terms. I’m on my own and and you’re the only one who’s been there for me. The only one I can stand… If my lines here, in this hostile market, are not successful, I’m finished.”
Marine sighed, drained.

The atmosphere in the room turned tense, enveloped by an uneasy silence after Alanna's sudden outburst reverberated across the space. Her words lingered in the air, laden with intense emotions that pierced through. Emma and Christina exchanged worried looks, fully grasping the profound tension that existed between the sisters.

The two sisters stood and pouted. Neither wanted to give first. Marine filled her glass again and started drinking, anything to ease the tension as they waited for a call back. Helen grabbed Christina by the hand.
”I have to go to the bathroom. Come on…” she tugged Christina to follow her into the master bathroom that was bigger than their bedroom. Anything to get away from the tense scenario there. Emma was left alone with the two tense sisters.

Emma sensed the palpable tension in the room and knew that something needed to be done to ease the strained atmosphere. With Helen and Christina disappearing into the master bathroom, Emma found herself alone with the two tense sisters, Marine and Alanna.

Emma took a deep breath and approached the sisters, her expression soft and empathetic.

"Hey, I know things got a little intense just now, but we're all in this together. We've faced tough challenges before, and we've always come out stronger when we support each other. Let's not let this come between us."

With gentle reassurance, Emma extended her arms to pull Marine and Alanna into a comforting hug, wrapping them both in a warm embrace.

"We're a team, a family. We can't let disagreements or worries tear us apart. We need to stand by each other, now more than ever."

As she hugged them, Emma adopted her best puppy dog expression, her eyes wide and earnest, silently urging the sisters to let go of their tension and find solace in their bond as a team.

The two sisters were tensed up when Emma came in to try and bring them together. Alanna eased up first, Emma’s puppy dog eyes worked on her every time. Marine took more time but eventually she relented and joined the hug. The two French sisters even found themselves shedding tears as the three of them warmly embraced. When they parted ways, Marine turned to Emma and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder ,
“Perhaps I treated you too harshly. I see now why she chose you. If our family had someone like you in it, we would be better off.”
“I didn’t know you cut yourself off… that you’re on your own. I don’t know what I can do to help, but I will.” They hugged again, resolving to stick together no matter what.
*********
Meanwhile a tipsy Helen fled with Christina to Marine’s massive master bathroom. The two marveled at how fancy it was. Helen asked Christina, ”Hey you got any lipstick? Can I borrow it?” If the ruse was successful, Helen would slip behind Christina and playfully lock in a sleeper, intending to avenge her knockout earlier in the day.

As the sounds of the party faded behind them, Helen and Christina ducked into Marine's massive master bathroom, their laughter echoing off the opulent marble walls.

Christina would take the time to admire the luxurious bathroom and when asked if she had any lipstick to borrow, Christina grinned, her hand reaching into her purse.

"Yeah, it's pretty fancy. And sure, you can borrow my lipstick,"

She said, pulling out a tube and handing it to Helen. As Christina turned to admire herself in the mirror, Helen moved swiftly behind her, and in one swift motion, she wrapped her arm around Christina's neck, pulling her close and locking in a sleeper hold. Christina's eyes widened in surprise and then narrowed in realization as she recognized the familiar technique.

"You sneaky little..."

Christina started to say, her words trailing off as Helen tightened her grip...

"Graccckkk..."

Christina began to croak as the pressure from Helen's sleeper hold cut off her air supply. In those tense moments, Christina's mind raced, realizing the grave error she had made in teaching and refining Helen's technique. Her own expertise in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which she had honed to a fine art, now worked against her as Helen's arms tightened around her neck.

Her thoughts flashed back to the hours they had spent training together, the intricate details of the sleeper hold that she had imparted to Helen with the intent of making her friend a more formidable opponent in the ring. In that moment, she cursed herself for underestimating Helen's ability to absorb and adapt her teachings.

As Christina's vision began to blur at the edges and the world started to fade, a mix of frustration and grudging admiration welled up within her. She had taught Helen well, perhaps too well...

As the pressure from Helen's sleeper hold continued to constrict her airway, Christina's struggles grew weaker. Despite her best efforts to resist the darkness that crept at the edges of her vision, she could feel her consciousness slipping away. With a final, muffled gasp, Christina's eyes fluttered closed, and her body went limp in Helen's grasp.

Christina fought valiantly, but Helen’s ambush was perfectly executed. And thanks to Christina’s tutelage, Helen had executed a perfect rear naked choke. She kept it locked in, just as Christina taught her many times, and brought her to the floor. Helen locked in the bodyscissors and squeezed with both her arms and legs. It wasn’t long before Christina stopped struggling and went limp in Helen’s arms. Helen let go and proceeded to snuggle and tend to Christina, as she had done for her many times. When Christina started waking up, Helen noticed the massive bathtub that was in the master bathroom and was inspired with an idea.

As Christina began to stir, her consciousness slowly returning, she felt a wave of grogginess wash over her. Blinking her eyes open, she found herself in Helen's embrace, the memory of the perfectly executed rear naked choke and bodyscissors still fresh in her mind. Despite the ambush, a sense of pride swelled within her at Helen's skillful execution of the techniques she herself had taught.

As Christina tried to sit up, she winced, feeling the lingering effects of the chokehold in her muscles. She looked up at Helen, who was watching her with a mixture of concern and affection.

"You got me good, Helen,"

Christina mumbled, a faint smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

Helen giggled at seeing a groggy Christina wake up.
"Damn straight. Helps that I've had an amazing teacher," she smiled.
Helen helped Christina sit up and pat her on her back to help her recover.
"You know what would be really nice right about now? A BATH. Christina, look!"
Helen pointed at the massive bathtub in Marine's master bathroom and the cabinet of assorted bath bombs just begging to be used.
Helen began stripping her clothes off and getting the bathtub ready.
