Yuki was being faced with incredible odds. Vorona had braced her foot firmly against her throat, and she was leaning in with all of her weight. The dark-haired girl's face was contorted in a grimace - one eye was squeezed shut, while the other bulged in its socket, her eyelid twitching. Her breaths had given way to choked, raspy wheezes, and her body trembled under the tension. But Yuki knew, above all else, that even in a situation like this, she couldn't give up! Vorona had already shown her true colors in every move she made - with every move she'd attempted to bring Yuki under her heel and exert her dominance for the world to see. Yuki had vowed that she wasn't going to hand that to her on a silver platter. No, if she was going to go down at all, she was going to go down fighting! She couldn't let Vorona's cheating ways prosper, and she couldn't let her get away with all the disrespect she'd shown her - and with a tenacious grasp, her fingers squeezed tightly to her opponent's ankle, trying to push her back with all her might!
Yuki's face reddened against the tremendous strain she was exerting. The veins in her forehead and neck were bulging, and sweat ran down her brow as she tossed her head this way and that. She couldn't get a word in edgewise, with her windpipe practically folded in half, but she wanted to let her defiance be known - Vorona wouldn't win! Her fingers only squeezed tighter around the girl's ankle, and her heart beat faster and faster in her chest. When she heard the fans cheering for her, calling out to her, that only steeled her spirit onward, and her grip tightened that much more. Everyone was counting on her now. She had to stand up to Vorona - she couldn't let them down! And with that strength bolstering her own, she shoved at the Russian's leg as hard as she could...
...only for Winter to move into position, just behind her! As lost in the struggle as Yuki was, she had no way of seeing her get into place. She wouldn't know what Winter was about to do until she suddenly found her hair grabbed from behind! She barely even had time to gasp, and she probably couldn't with Vorona leaning against her windpipe anyway. But she did have enough time to glance back over her shoulder. She saw Winter. And she knew that the two of them were up to no good, and that misfortune could only be close behind. That was all she needed to know for her instincts to kick in - and, acting on those instincts, she swept a kick right behind her to try and drive Winter back!
If that was successful, Yuki would find herself seized by a swell of adrenaline, riding off the highs of her success! If she could do this, she thought, she could do anything - and she wanted to test that! Her fingers coiled tighter around Vorona's ankle. She pushed her weight a little bit further forward, trying to tip the Russian woman just a little off her center of balance. And then, she would swing her weight off the ground to try and slam her down into a dragon screw!

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Vorona (Two Out of Three Falls)
This woman seemed inhuman. Liked facing some sort of barbarian channeling a silent roar that brought on untapped strength. The sweat and redness on her face was like she wanted to explode with the ferocity of some demon. Just the way she imagined them breathing put a chill into her as she was lurching back from the push. And then, her dearest, came to intervene.
And in one moment, Vorona became defenceless.
“Oafff!!” Winter’s belly was caved in by the boot. Her legs and waist went over the edge while her upper torso and head stayed, then turned clockwise and smacked right into the apron. She whipped back in a snap and hit the outside with her shoulderblades first, then her head. Dazed and winded, she gasped and turned onto her side, holding her stomach and squeezing her eyes firmly shut.
Vorona’s eyes widened into balls of black and a red X. She was about to wet her dry throat with saliva when her ankle was taken and her leg twisted into the jaws of Yuki’s draconic arms. She went veering over Yuki in a turn, then smacked the mat on the other side of Yuki’s shoulder back-first. “G-Gyahh--” The pain was sharp. Her kneecap wrestled in its pocket. Her ankle bone bit.
“--Aaghh..”
The moment she hit the mat, the crowd cheered in a rouse of noise that felt like hunger.
Vorona’s heartrate started to beat faster. She wasn’t too dazed, so got onto her elbows and immediately tried to scoot away from Yuki with one leg, nursing the other, looking back at the ropes and attempting to get closer to them.

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Vorona (Two Out of Three Falls)
It all happened almost too quickly to keep track of. Yuki's instincts had kicked in. She knew that Winter was nothing but trouble. She knew that what she needed to do most of all was to keep Vorona locked under control; that if she took her eyes off of them for a moment, they would surely ensnare her in a trap she couldn't fight her way out of. The problem was, when they were coming from two different directions, Yuki wasn't able to focus on one without taking her attention off the other...so, instead of choosing one woman to target, she'd do the next best thing, and go after both! Even through the crushing pressure of Vorona's foot against her throat, Yuki still knew that Winter had to be close. She strained and gagged; her face was growing red from lack of breath, and one eye squeezed shut, the globe sinking back into its socket. But she still had enough drive in her to throw her leg back - and it hit Winter square in the stomach, causing her to drop right onto the apron!
Yuki could barely see the fruits of her labor, but from how loud the landing was, she could tell it had worked - and that was all she really needed to know! She couldn't be content with her efforts, though. Vorona was still here, and Vorona still needed to be dealt with. With her teeth clenching in a tight grimace, Yuki's fingers clasped tighter around her opponent's ankle, holding on as tight as she could; her knuckles went white under the force. The more her throat grew narrower and narrower with each passing second, the harder it was for her to find the strength she needed...but the success she had just won against Winter was enough to embolden her, and in a flourish, she was finally able to throw Vorona down and to the side, sending both of them into the mat!
The loud thud of the two girls hitting the canvas was soon followed by a burst of cheers from the stands! Yuki panted for breath, trying to draw the air back into her weary lungs. It felt fresh and cool when just a moment before she'd been struggling to breathe at all. At the same time, though, she knew she couldn't spare Vorona any mercy. She couldn't feel proud of her efforts when the Russian was still far from defeated. No, Yuki had work to do. Vorona was trying to get away - and Yuki wouldn't dare let her get far!
"Oh no you don't-!" Yuki still had a hold of Vorona's leg, and she was going to put that to good use! She pulled back as hard as she could on the white-haired woman's ankle, trying to stretch and strain the joint. She was trying to pull Vorona back to keep her from getting the rope break - and, at the same time, to put further strain on her leg with an ankle lock!

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Vorona (Two Out of Three Falls)
The failure of Winter was lingering on Vorona's mind the moment she was caught.
This was her fault, she concluded. If she would've done her job, then she'd have the Dynamite Schoolgirl on the verge of pinfall. But no. Now she would have to deal with the consequences of Winter's actions. And they hurt. It bit into her ankle like a set of dull fangs. A constrictor's coil and dull fangs at once. The pain shot into her heart-rate like a mule kick. Her lungs started to expand and retract without much control, making her pant as her caught leg shivered. Vorona's cheek was smothering the mat. She mewled from the pain. Her face was caked in distress. The mask hid her brows nuance. But they can her black eyes begin to squeeze and her black lips tighten, shiver and then she released a sound that made everyone happy.
"A-aagh... T..T...Tc...TCH!" She almost screamed.
They wanted her to be louder. To belch, to tap and beg on the ground.
She instead chose to fight. On her elbows and one knee. A disgraceful place for her, but necessary. She tried to initiate a crawl that would see her claw, scrape and nudge, with motions that saw her veer back with her weight and suddenly forward like some magical spell to gain ground. Back. Forward. Crawl. Grunt. Whine. Bite tongue. Her breathing was quick, hard and the ordeal made her look like she was fighting against a leash.
Caught. And there was nothing the dazed Winter can do about it, who will surely be punished if Vorona can just... escape.

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Vorona (Two Out of Three Falls)
Yuki had had enough of Vorona, Winter, and their tricks. Ever since before this match began, the two of them were trying to outwit her, pulling every trick in the book and thinking they could get away with it. It wasn't enough for them to merely taunt Yuki, to belittle her, and bait her into losing her cool and embarrassing herself in front of the world - no, they were such cheating cowards and cads that they wanted to make a fool out of her. They knew there was no way they could beat her - they had to know - and yet, they still wanted the bragging rights of having taken down a woman who had challenged the Lightweight Champion and nearly won, and they were going to claim them by any means necessary. But now, the tables had turned. Now, Yuki managed to knock Winter out of the way and focused her attention on Vorona. And now that she finally had her hands on the white-haired girl, Yuki was not about to go easy on her. If she wanted to see how easily she could claim victory over Yuki, Yuki was happy to show her!
Grabbing her by the leg and twisting back at her ankle as hard as she could, Yuki torqued at Vorona's leg in all directions! Her fingers clenched down in a white-knuckled grip, and her teeth in a grimace as she focused all her energy on keeping her opponent under control. She had fought so hard to get this far, she wasn't going to let it slip through her fingers - she was finally in a position where she could see to it that Vorona faced punishment for her actions, and she couldn't let her get away! Yuki was normally a calm, composed, and focused girl, but now that she had Vorona in her clutches, her temper was flaring with righteous fury!
Vorona tried to haul her way across the mat, her hands slapping its surface and her nails clawing at the canvas as she fought a desperate struggle to pull herself away - or at least to the ropes. But Yuki wouldn't let her have that. Hissing through her teeth, the Japanese girl would only yank her ankle one way and then another, hoping that the pain would be enough to put her in her place! The more Vorona fought, the more Yuki's grip began to slip, but that only emboldened her more. Vorona couldn't get away - she owed that to herself. If her grip was slipping, she'd just have to fight harder!
At last, as her hands began to slip down Vorona's leg and her fingers trembled tenuously, Yuki realized that she was going to have to change things up soon if she wanted to keep the pressure on her foe. But she was ready for that. Her brow furrowed in focus, Yuki planted her feet against the ground to lift herself up onto her feet, bringing Vorona's leg up for the ride. Pulling Vorona aside, she attempted to roll her onto her back. Then, Yuki pulled that leg in between her own - and spun around toward Vorona's middle, twisting her leg inward for a spinning toehold!

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Vorona (Two Out of Three Falls)
The pain trickled up her calf and shin. The muscles tightened and formed so many points of pressure where the muscle squished into joint and bone. The joint battered against the limits of the rotation. And like a mechanical vice, Yuki cranked it so fucking hard that the cartilage was squeezing into its neighbor like a spinning gear trying to rotate past another locked gear, forcing its way. When it was done, Vorona felt her lower-leg become looser overall. The limb went a little numb and she was focused on getting herself back under control.
She endured it. Ate it. And came out with dignity and now--
Flipped to her back.
Her thoughts disrupted.
A hand stretched out in a pitiful attempt to grab them by any measure of their clothes, hair or limb. But Yuki was standing. Too far out of reach. Vorona gulped, making her dry throat wet again. A rock was sitting inside it. She felt a chill rack her spine as her cheeks flared. This was too fast. Way-way too fast of a movement. She can't stop it. Can't fight it. The Dynamite Schoolgirl had her locked in again and all she can do was utter...
"C-Cease..." In a stutter right before the hold locked in.
The pain twisted her knee, put pressure on her heel and pressured her calf as the leg was folded around Yuki's leg and cranked. Her breath hastened into a quicker beat. She felt her eyes well-up. So she covered them, arched her back and howled to the arena lights "T-Taaghhh!" Open-mouth, fill of spit yet to spill. The crowd's response was even louder. Praise! Yes! This is what they wanted. Since the beginning.
Vorona's chest quickly expanded and retracted as she fought to keep her lungs in order. She shook her head violently and arched different ways. Her free leg, spread, kicked and smacked the mat with an uncoordinated panic. The referee came beside her and could see between her fingers how her gaze shifted side-to-side-to-side.
She nibbled on her bottom lip, kept tossing, kept hiding, kept yelling. Then she reached for the ropes -- and in the same moment, raised her knee and attempted to boot Yuki in the gut with her sole.

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Vorona (Two Out of Three Falls)
Yuki had managed to counter Vorona's would-be comeback and take control. Now, she had the white-haired girl right where she wanted her...and she wasn't about to show her any mercy! Vorona had messed with her for too long, and if she thought that she could get away with tormenting Yuki and trying to make an example of her, the joshi wrestler was determined to turn the tables!
Vorona realized what was about to happen to her moments before it struck, but a moment too late to save herself. Just then, Yuki wrenched back at her leg, flexing at the knee just a little to trap Vorona's ankle around her thigh. And just like that, the pain erupted through Vorona's body, sending her writhing and convulsing in agony! The crowd burst out into cheers, seeing Yuki about to turn the tables on her foe. Yuki, meanwhile, took in a deep breath, maintaining a steady glare. Stay calm, she told herself, and keep steady. She had worked hard enough to get Vorona into position. Now, she just had to keep her there. It was more important than ever now that she couldn't let her composure break.
It wasn't lost on her that Vorona had uttered that one word, just before the tension came down. Now, Yuki was determined that she wouldn't forget it. "Was that a submission?" she asserted, her eyes narrowing on Vorona with a steady focus. She wanted her opponent to know she was trapped. Yet, at the same time, Yuki wasn't going to let down her guard just yet. She knew how tricky Vorona and Winter could be, and even now, she wouldn't put it past them to still have something stored up their sleeve.
Yuki watched as she flailed back and forth. But she was also watching her for the slightest hint that the Russian woman was hiding something in the throes of pain - that all the theatrics were just a decoy from some trap she was about to spring. When Yuki saw her arm stretch out, she thought she'd caught Vorona red-handed. Gritting her teeth, she yanked even harder at her ankle, trying to cut off her attempt at a rope break! But ironically, Yuki hadn't managed to catch Vorona at all - she had only walked into another trap!
The writhing wasn't the distraction. When Yuki saw Vorona reach for the ropes, she wasn't watching what she was doing with her legs. And she didn't see it coming when Vorona slammed the sole of her boot straight into her stomach! "Ghkk-!!" That changed everything. At once, Yuki let go of Vorona's leg, doubling over forward as she staggered back, her eyes wide and her jaw hanging slack as the air was driven from her lungs. She grabbed at her midsection, her shoulders rising and falling with every pant and heave. Once again, Vorona had tricked her - and once again, she had slipped from her fingers at the last minute.
But if Yuki had her say, she wasn't going to get away for long! Just as quickly, the raven-haired girl clenched a fist. She'd fought too hard to let Vorona escape - she wouldn't let her do it again! Planting one foot in front of her, she tried to push herself back up a little higher, taking back her stance. And then, she would kick off the ground and throw her elbow out in front of her, looking to throw herself down on top of Vorona with an elbow drop aimed at her chest!

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Vorona (Two Out of Three Falls)
Mocking. That’s what it was. MOCKING.
Was that a submission?
DISGUSTING! She was an artist. An artist doesn’t make mistakes nor submit to someone less than a patron. A spectator. A canvas. They were just a blank canvas. An ordinary, insignificant farce. People like that shan’t ever beat her. So when her boot rammed into their stomach, it was more of a silent cry that echoed. I won’t allow it!
Then she was on the ground with nothing but her racing heart, aching leg and a body that was failing to pick itself back up. The first instinct was to bend her knee up, grab it, bite her teeth and chew back any whimpers in her throat. The shin was numb. The circulation flowed back into it, making it feel fuzzy and warm, but also heavy and hard to do anything cohesive. It would be another fifteen seconds, she reckoned, before it would be fine to stand on again, sore or not sore.
But Yuki was right there. Yuki stared up at the soaring Yuki, putting a shadow across her chest. Her face must’ve froze in some grit-teeth panic, wide-eyed and hands out in front of her as a desperate last ditch attempt at defending herself. Yuki pierced those defences. Came down hard. The elbow pierced her chest. She felt it echo through her ribs. Her lungs deflated, squealing. Her legs kicked up until her hips were off, smacked back down and she sprawled on her back. She looked more dishevelled afterwards, with sweat now taking hold on her forehead and cheek. The hair over her face started to stick. She was hurting. Stressed.
“S… Submit? I would never submit to you, little one. See?... Mmgh…” Her voice croaked, now with some semblance of thought-process. But she needed to move. So she crossed her arms over her wounded chest, then tried to turn over and make a slow roll for the ropes again. Winter should be getting up by now…
Where was SHE?

She looked more dishevelled afterwards, with sweat now taking hold on her forehead and cheek. The hair over her face started to stick. She was hurting. Stressed.
“S… Submit? I would never submit to you, little one. See?... Mmgh…” Her voice croaked, now with some semblance of thought-process. But she needed to move. So she crossed her arms over her wounded chest, then tried to turn over and make a slow roll for the ropes again. Winter should be getting up by now…
Where was SHE?

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Vorona (Two Out of Three Falls)
Vorona might have tried to shield herself, but it was too little, too late. Yuki was already in motion, and when her eyes settled on the white-haired girl, they would only narrow in a piercing glare. Vorona had run away from Yuki for too long - it was finally time for her to face karma for her actions. Yuki wouldn't allow her any other option. And when she came crashing down atop her foe, she fell with enough force to shatter Vorona's guard, her elbow breaking through her arms and coming right down onto her chest!
The impact rang out with a crack, punctuated by the cheers of the fans. They were just as eager as Yuki was to finally see Vorona's tricks blow up in her face - and now, she was finally getting served her comeuppance! Beneath Yuki's weight, she crumpled back against the mat, going flat against the force of the impact as the Japanese girl's elbow drilled downward into her ribs. As she came to a stop and the dust cleared, Yuki took a few pants to collect herself, catching her breath and brushing a lock of hair out of her face. But she knew that Vorona wouldn't stay down for long - no, surely she would find the first opportunity she could get to engineer this situation in her favor. She knew how she worked. And Yuki had to be ready for that.
Yuki grit her teeth, her body stiffening at the sound of Vorona's defiance. But she was ready to answer it! "We'll have to see about that-!" Slipping out from beneath Yuki, Vorona twisted onto her stomach, then onto her back again, flopping across the mat on her way down to the ropes. But Yuki, at the same time, pushed herself up onto her elbows and knees. Crawling closer, she would get herself behind Vorona - and then, she would pounce! She flew down on top of Vorona to tackle her from behind, her legs kicking out as she tried to throw them around Vorona's arm. If that worked, she'd grab at the Russian's head and yank backward, putting her in a Crippler Crossface to try and hold her off!

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Vorona (Two Out of Three Falls)
Pull yourself together. You are a ring artist. A Master of Aesthetics.
She who…. Nnngh… Struggles not... against losers like her.
Just have to put one arm in front of the other. Like so…
She moved them. Her forearm came down. Then she lifted the other forearm from across her chest, placed it ahead.
Have to use my legs too…
A knee would lift. Slide up, dig into the mat and be used to lunge herself a bit further. Yes, she was almost there. Just two lunges away, just like these. Then she heard a voice. “Huh?” Yuki, once again, tackling her. She was flattened, made an OOF with her deflating lungs then started to thrash and splash like some unskilled fish. Her mask and eyes was concealed by a finger-grip. She howled,
“Aaaaghhhhhh…” Long and not quite the scream. A long groan more-like. Then her arm was trapped. And then the real hold began.
Th-That was just a preliminary?! Then w-what is…
“N-No-”
Pain. A lot of pain is what it is. Her neck was being squeezed like air-bubbles in bubblewrap, folded over and pressed. Her throat pulled and her face crept with a burning sensation as Yuki’s grip face-washed her eyes and upper head. Her black lipsticked lips started to curl and shiver. She was kicking with her legs frantically, reaching with her hand, unable to get anywhere. Trapped. She was trapped. By a simpleton, uninspired, banana-wearing simpleton. One of them. The crowd members. When she pictured what they’d wrestle in, she pictured Yuki. And with looks reflecting talent. Why is SHE struggling at all…
T-This was too much… S-She needed… Winter… Yes. She had to be up by now. She’d slap her if she wasn’t. So she groaned… Long and pathetically while trying to keep stoic.
“Wiiinnnnnt~...…tterrrr…”
And sure enough, she was there, stumbling around the ring post to their side of the ring. She was holding her jaw, with her feathery headpiece slightly unsituated. She still smiled, beamed, then snuck her hands underneath the bottom rope. “Andddd here you go!” She pulled Vorona’s wrist, just enough so she can lock on the ropes and ensue a rope break.
The referee pointed. “Hey! Do not touch the active competitors!”
Winter rolled out her bottom lip, putting her hands together at her chest and saying. “I didn’ts! I swears! I just wanted to comfort…”
