Ash Daniels vs. Anna D'Amore

Ash thought that this was her chance to turn the momentum back around into her favor, and maybe to gain some much-needed ground against her opponent. It would surely go a long way toward soothing her bruised ego after she'd gotten herself into a couple of sticky situations if she could score a blow against Anna. Unfortunately, Ash's temper was once again getting ahead of her - and that was just leading her into another one of Anna's traps. The Italian might have bounced off the ropes, but rather than coming into the path of Ashley's next strike, she instead kicked out her legs to transition into a dropkick! When Ash saw her opponent coming closer, she let out a gasp, her eyes going wide in the face of the impending impact. But by then, it was already too late!

"Oof-!!" Anna came crashing into Ash feet-first, taking the Californian down to the mat - and just moments later, she had flipped her around onto her stomach before grabbing her by the chin, bringing her weight down on her back to stretch her in the camel clutch! In moments, Ash could feel her spine being stretched further and further under the pressure, causing every vertebra to pop and shudder. Her teeth clenched and her face contorted in pain as a shudder ran through her from head to toe!

She did, for a moment, pause to think about what Anna was telling her. About how she was letting her anger rule her. To that...Anna had a point. Ash did have to concede that fact was to blame for more than a few of the slip-ups she'd made thus far. So too, she thought about Anna's offer to have fun as fellow competitors instead. She was a fun-loving party girl at heart, and her opponent seemed to be cut from the same cloth. Surely, in better circumstances, they could get along. That was almost enough to make Ash reconsider how she was approaching this...

Almost. Because before she could do anything about it, the pain in her back quickly reminded her of what was going on, and she coughed and gagged as her face contorted in pain. "Gaah..!" she hissed, shaking herself out before she looked back at Anna out of the corner of her eye. "Easy...for you to say..!" She could discuss peace some other time - right now, she had to focus on getting herself out of this hold!

The bright side, at least, was that the camel clutch was a simple enough submission - and one that Ash was quite familiar with herself. If she knew it, she'd surely be able to counter it! Fighting through the pain would have to be the first step - but, as she sucked down a breath, the redhead moved to plant her hands against the mat, trying to steady herself enough to lift her up into the air enough to gain some leverage. If that worked, she'd start to drag herself forward, hoping to reach the ropes and score a break to set herself free!

"Maybe if you weren't so angry from the start we could actually be friendly!" (Forse se tu non fossi stata arrabbiata dall'inizio avremmo potuto essere amichevoli!) Anna said while pouting, she was only a dancing wrestler not some like hardcore thing like Ash who wanted to seriously get her into any way it seemed! Anna decided to soften the camel clutch a bit, after all yes she wanted to win but seeing Ash in that much pain actually made her feel a bit sad..

"Come on you can get out of this!" (Dai puoi uscire da questa!) Anna said like she was encouraging Ash to get out of the hold... and helping too! She hoped that this nice act could actually soften her opponent a bit to have a friendly competition instead of an almost hardcore match! "Sorry.." (Mi dispiace) a faint whisper could be heared while anna was stretching Ash, it seemed that the italian woman took a soft spot for her opponent and didn't want to go too hard on her if not necessary..

Ash had gotten lost in the spirit of the competition, and she had put every ounce of effort she could muster into trying to break free from her opponent's clutches. To her, that was all that mattered - it was her way to stake her claim that she was still worth taking seriously, even if Anna seemed content to mock her. It was perhaps fortunate, then, that with Ash so absorbed in the heat of the moment, she didn't realize that Anna was loosening up her hold on her chin on purpose. Ash, instead, thought that was proof that her efforts to fight back were working - and she only doubled down on them, twisting her body back and forth to try and loosen her opponent's hold as she tried to drag herself closer and closer to the ropes! If she could get this far, she thought, she could get even further!

In the end, Ashley wouldn't need the ropes - in the process of her escape, she managed to jerk her head free from Anna's grip, forcing the Italian girl to let go! Suddenly grasped by a second wind with the exhilaration she felt on the cusp of success, she jumped back to her feet with a grin on her face. A moment later, the ache in her back caught up to her, and she rubbed at her spine to try and dull that sensation...but it couldn't hold her back for long! Just as quickly, she shook herself out and spun back around to face Anna. Now, Ash had freed herself, and she was ready to take back control!

"Aaaaall right..." she cheered, taking a moment to stretch and to work the aches out of her joints, "payback time!~" Ashley wouldn't hesitate - she would break out into a charge, running right into the ropes across from her so that they would stretch against her weight and spring her back in Anna's direction. As she came closer, she would swing her leg around to try and catch her upside the head with a roundhouse kick to the temple! Hopefully, that'd prove enough to take her down!

"Woah! So Quick! Damn! Owww!!" Anna couldn't react to this kick and was hitted by It! She didn't expect Ash to be so Quick into countering and now was down for the Moment, She hoped that Ash would be nice to Her but... She didn't truly think She would.

So She braced for what would come next hoping that It wouldn't be too painful and that Ash wouldn't be too aggressive in It...

"Ughh...." She was still closely watching Ash to tell Her that It wasn't over at all.

Ash took off for the ropes like a cannonball, and when she went bouncing off of them and back toward the center of the ring, she was carrying all that momentum with her - where all that momentum was about to be turned back on Anna, as she swung her leg around to slam it hard into the Italian's head! As she skidded to a stop, the redhead turned to watch as Anna twirled in place before her footing gave out and she dropped limp against the mat. A smirk came to her face - finally, she thought to herself, she was taking things where she wanted them; she was standing up to Anna! But she knew, too, that things were just getting started. She wasn't done yet - and it was time to follow through!

Pumping a fist in the air, the Californian let out a cheer, steeling her nerves for her next move. Then, she kicked off the ground and stuck out her leg, prepared to land a leg drop across Anna's chest!

"Now!" (Adesso!) Anna waited for the next attack since she was watching Ash in a boost of adrenaline managed to dodge the dropkick by rolling! And that was her chance to counter! She got up and immidiately tried to hit Ash with her signature move to do as much damage as she could!

Anna attempted to grab Ash arm to execute her Kimura lock but it wasn't to make Ash give up, only for giving her damage.. "Take this!" (Prendi questo!) If Anna was sucessful she would bend and twist Ash arm in every way possible, she needed damage beacuse this girl wasn't giving up at all!

For a moment, Ash was on top of the world. She'd managed to turn everything around - for as much as Anna might've given her trouble, now she was back in control, leveraging her speed and manueverability to keep her guessing. She'd flattened the Italian already, and now, as she charged back in her opponent's direction, she was ready to keep laying into her with offense while she was down - while she still could! When Anna was proving as mobile as she was, Ash would jump at any opportunity to get some shots in!

But for as quick as Ash was, that same speed could be used against her. Once she was in motion, it would be hard for her to correct her course - and that was exactly what Anna was hoping for, when she rolled out of the way before the redhead could hit her with a leg drop! Ash dropped down onto the unforgiving canvas, sending the aftershocks rippling up through her leg! At once, the look on Ashley's face turned from one of pride and excitement to a pained wince, as her teeth clenched and she shuddered against the brunt of the impact. She reached down to rub at her leg to try and soothe the soreness from her impromptu landing - but things were about to get a lot worse, as Anna grabbed her arm to twist it in a Kimura lock!

"Gyaaah..!!" Ash cried out from the pain that went shooting through her arm, causing her to double over in Anna's grasp. Frantically, she looked back and forth between her opponent and the ropes. Anna was torquing each of her joints, and if she didn't do something soon, it could well break her arm entirely. But she wasn't about to give up now - she'd still fight it with everything she had! With her free arm, she tried to grab at the canvas, trying to haul her way closer to the ropes to get a rope break!

"NGHHH!!!" Anna of course wasn't gonna make It Easy for Ash at all! She in fact focussed all of herself to mantain the hold as long as possible to if not make Ash give up at least giving Her arm enough pain to not use It for a bit! The italian girl was good at It and wouldn't relase the submission until Ash would either give up or reach the ropes. And of course that was Her intention, now It was a Clash of wills but One thing Anna knew, this girl was determined to not give up! At least not so soon!

For as hard as Ashley was fighting to make it to the rope, Anna's grasp felt as strong as iron - and her legs were starting to feel like jelly! The pressure of the figure four was practically grinding her bones to dust; with every shift of their weight or rock of their hips, she could feel Anna's legs clenching down even tighter against her own. Unable to stifle the urge any longer, she let out a roar of pain as her body began to shudder from the demands she was forcing out of it. But she just squeezed her eyes shut and tried to focus. Above all else, Ash was stubborn - stubborn enough to refuse to submit, unless she was confident it was her absolute last option. And that stubbornness was pushing her now, as she forced all the strength and endurance out of her body that she could in clawing her way closer and closer to the ropes! All she knew was that she couldn't give in now!

She gave herself one more push forward, her fingers digging deep into the canvas to brace herself - and then, at long last, she felt her fingers come down against the rope. In that instant, her body went slack; she fell against the mat, panting and gasping. Her legs, still numb, sank heavy against the canvas, and her whole body lurched with every breath she took; her eyes were glazed over and her face was beet red. "You're...good at this..." she panted.

Even now, Ashley could feel a shudder run its way down her aching legs. At the very least, she had gotten out of this hold. The only question was...had the damage already been done?

"Anf...thanks."(grazie.) Anna was happy to get praised, but this wasn't the time to stop and think, it seemed the submission had effects on Ash so she needed to focus on that legs to get this victory and close the match!

So Anna with a burst of adrenaline immidiately tried to kick Ash legs to bring her down and drag her again into the middle ring to lock her again into another leg submission...that was the plan but she stopped. Something happened, tireness was builded up... so she went for another option, rolling out of the ring. She didn't expect to be THIS tired versus Ash but it seemed the girl was too stubborn and Anna needed to recover. "Why i'm so tired now...(Perchè sono cosi stanca adesso...)
