Bottomless Rage: Wyvern vs. Eris Greyrat

Wyvern's train of thought is interrupted as, while she easily blocks Eris's fist as it flies towards her face, the Englishwoman's true attack lands a direct blow on her stomach. The hit forces the air from Wyvern's lungs, pushing a hacking cough from her mouth.

I deserved that.

The impact curves her body and her hind leg begins to buckle, but her opponent's arrogant words drive a stake of determination into Wyvern's mind when she hears them. Instantly, her body locks in place, muscles catching her fall before her knee can touch the ground. Straightening up, she locks eyes with Eris, pleasure and anger mingling in her expression.

"Better an insect than a rat."

Rushing forward, Wyvern forgoes striking and attempts to initiate a clinch, looking to push Eris back up against the ring apron.

Eris didn't expect her opponent to be able to respond after a stomach uppercut, most of the time her opponents got out of breath and fell to the ground. However, this was not the case with her opponent who did not fall to the ground either and even attacked Eris by pinning her against the apron, making Eris groan because of the scratches on her back.

"Shut up, insolent bitch!"

After all the punches she had given, Eris thought that one knee to the belly would be enough to make her opponent let go. If she succeeds, Eris will grab her by the armpits and carry her to rub her opponent's back against the iron wire that serves as a rope, seeking to inflict the same pain she had received at the start of the match.

While not enough to incapacitate the Irish hellion, Eris's knee strike is enough to momentarily halt Wyvern's assault, giving her an opening to grab the other wrestler and drag her against barbed wire above. The lacerations have to be excruciating, given their depth and length, but Wyvern only grins in response, the expression tightening but not faltering as the "ropes" grow slick with her blood.

"You spend a lot of time whining, princess. You sure you're in the right line of work?"

Wyvern punctuates the final word of her taunt with a counterattack, using her elevated postion over Eris to try and drive her kneecap into the other wrestler's temple with the goal of forcing her to let go. If this succeeds, the Irishwoman shoves herself away from Eris and rolls under the ring ropes, coming back up to her feet inside the ring once more.

Eris was able to lift her opponent easily until her back was rubbed against the iron ropes. She could see a few drops of blood dripping onto the ring carpet as she took a punch to the temple, forcing her to let go of her opponent and step back putting her hand to her ear.

"Grrrrr....!!"

Eris had received a blow neither too strong nor too weak, powerful enough to bring out all her rage. She straightened up quickly with a groan and saw her opponent return to the ring. Only the mad dog didn't think about attacking her when she got up or pulled her by the legs, she threw herself on her opponent to find herself on her and hammer her with punches on her face, growling ever louder because of rage.

Wyvern is already on her feet and prepared as Eris barrels towards her. Just as she expected. Eris' vicious, overwhelming attacks had left marks across her body, even without the aid of the barbed wire that had shredded her back, stomach, and face. The fight had been brutal, her opponent merciless, but the Irishwoman never lost focus. And after an admittedly painful false start, she was beginning to get a handle on the English wrestler's movements.

Now.

Wyvern forces herself to stay completely still until the right moment. In the instants before Eris would make contact and drag her to the ground for another mount, she explodes into motion, ducking forward and to the side under her opponent's arms. At the same time, she brings her arm up in an overhand punch, intending to deliver a heavy counter-strike to Eris's face!

Eris tackled her opponent to the ground and quickly got on top of her, looking at her with eyes filled with hate and rage. The Englishwoman gritted her teeth and raised her fists to strike her opponent, attempting a powerful hammer punch to her opponent's face to destroy her face. Spectators who knew Eris well knew what was coming, Eris wasn't going to stop until they saw her opponent's face disfigured and bleeding.

SMACK

Surprisingly, despite the advantageous position for Eris, it was she who received the first blow because of an unexpected counter. Her opponent was still able to fight and her blows were still powerful. But Eris was not sensitive to pain in her condition, at least for now. She wasted no time and with a cry of rage, she chained the hammer punches on the face of her opponent, she did not intend to stop even by being hit several times. The mad dog was on the field and it was perhaps not good news for her opponent.

"GRAAAAAAAARH !!"

While Eris's ability to power through Wyvern's counter wasn't entirely unexpected, it was still very impressive. Few opponents she'd fought could have taken a direct hit like that and kept going. Still, when called into a straight fight such as this one, Wyvern was never one to back down. Instead of retreating and trying to land more effective counters, the Irishwoman pushes straight ahead, unleashing her own barrage of vicious strikes. She fights on heedless of her own mounting injuries, perfectly willing to accept damage to dish it back out.

"Not...tch...bad."

After a few moments, Wyvern begins to grin viciously, truly enjoying herself. As she begins to get a further handle on Eris's movements, she begins twisting her body in response to the other wrestler's strikes, rolling with the blows just enough to reduce the harm inflicted. While the individual impact is low, in a contest of endurance like this even slight differences can affect the outcome. The only question is whether or not Eris can recognize this in her current state before it's too late.

Now that Eris was showing her wild side, nothing could stop her except fear and fatigue. She fought by putting everything she had into it, giving blows still as powerful despite the blows she received in return because her opponent did not move away from her, she continued to hit Eris in this state. It might seem stupid but the choice of the Irish was pretty good, Eris still had the same physical capacity as before and could take a lot of damage in her state.

The two women continued to smack each other for several seconds and Eris, despite being wild, noticed that her fatigue was setting in faster than usual. Continuing to fight like that wasn't going to bring her victory but the mad dog couldn't think right now. All she found sensible to do was to hit her opponent in a precise spot, at eye level, to blind her and prevent her from acting correctly in the rest of the match if she lost this exchange of blows.

Feeling as much as seeing herself slowly starting to gain the advantage, Wyvern presses forward, throwing everything she has into trying to beat her opponent into, if not submission, than at least an inability to fight back. So focused is she on maintaining her rhythm and continuing the exchange, she isn't able to react in time when Eris suddenly changes her tactics. Wyverndrives one arm forward, but this only grazes the side of her head as Eris can feel her fist connect with Wyvern's face, snapping the Irishwoman's head back with enough force to send her toppling from her feet.

But she still doesn't fall.

Only now, in the momentary lull following what should have been a decisive blow, will Eris likely notice that Wyvern had moved her arm out, not to try and strike the English wrestler, but to seize a handful of her hair. This pause lasts barely a heartbeat before Wyvern tugs down with horrific force, looking to take Eris off guard and drive her nose straight into a rising knee strike!

Eris' punches were still as powerful and effective even after slightly changing tactics. She even felt her punch hitting her opponent's face perfectly at eye level, she would be blinded in no time if it kept hitting her that way. Eris seemed to have the upper hand in the fight but there was no strategy behind it, unlike her opponent who was already planning her next attack.

Following this last punch, Eris gets her hair caught quite easily and was a new surprise by the constitution of her opponent who was more than impressive, she did not expect that she could still stand up especially after her last shot. The surprise was taking over and Wyvern took the opportunity to lower the mad dog's head and kick her knees right on the nose.

"Grah!"

Eris groaned in pain and shoved her opponent with a front kick to the stomach. If she manages to be released with this kick, she will notice a liquid running down her lips. Tasting it, she quickly realized that this liquid was blood, her own blood.
