Main Event - Middleweight Championship Tourney Finals: Tina 'Tigress' Armstrong vs Erin Quinn

It took a bit of effort but Erin finally had Tina up on her shoulders. All she had to do now was throw her down and her opponent would surely be feeling it for the rest of the match. Her blonde opponent had other plans though. Erin was made all to aware of them as she felt Tina's legs tightening around her head. Before she had the chance to throw her foe, Tina had quickly leaned back and Erin's body was following her momentum. "Ugh gimme a sec...guuugh!" The Irish brawler started to yell before she was floored quite spectacularly. The cheering crowd obviously enjoyed the show but Erin was left on the ground a bit dazed and very disappointed.

It would be a moment before the redhead fully processed what happened. In the meantime she heard the referee start a count. Erin was understandably shocked to hear a loud "ONE." A second ago she was about to dish out some pain and now she found herself pinned. She wasn't about to let it all end here though. As soon as she heard "TWO." Erin would try to push up and throw Tina off of her. Had she not been taken by surprise Erin would have likely attempted to kick out at one, but her foe had gotten the best of her for a bit. She refused to let that be the case for a second longer though.

Tina felt Erin kick out and slapped the mat in frustration. This lady was tough and could recover from a surprise very quickly. Not a good combination for Tina tonight. She was tough, stronger than Tina and had good technique. No wonder the tigress was a bit of an underdog again. This underdog still had bite though and Tina wanted to prove that point.

Tina backed off, then ran at the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. She wanted to time it so she rushed right back at Erin as she was getting up. Tina would rush in right at Tina and leap into the air, trying to fly right into Erin with a flying forearm smash to try to use her own power coupled with speed to level Erin and take her to the mat once more! Tina knew she had to use her speed more and work her power in when Erin wasn't expecting it. It was a rough tightrope to walk but Tina had to do it if she wanted that gold!

Erin managed to kick out at two. She was perhaps a little less happy than she should have been. It was embarrassing enough to her that she had gotten to that point. The redhead would have to do better, especially in such an important match. Next time she had her opponent in a position to really do some damage she would be sure not to mess it up. After all as Tina just showed there was a very real possibility that any small screw up could cost her big time.

Before Erin had the chance to fully stand up, Tina was already rushing towards her. With a powerful display the blonde slammed her arm into a rising Erin, slamming the redhead back against the ground. "Ugggghhhh!" The redhead cried out as she hit the floor with a thud. "Ahh...damn it." She groaned, her eyes closed tightly in pain. She had expected a bit more time to herself but Tina was not going to let her take a breather. For now The brawler was left with her back on the ground as she waited for the pain to subside.

Tina took Erin down and had an idea as to how to pin her down. Tina rushed towards the nearby ropes and jumped up, her feet landing on the middle rope as she springboard off flying back at Erin! This was a gamble but one Tina had to take. She had to keep moving and her movements had to result in Erin staying still preferably on the ground.

Tina flipped back as if she were doing a moonsault, but tucked her knees in, aiming to land right on Erins torso with a moonsault double knee drop! If this gamble paid off Tina would waste no time in going for another pin against Erin. She couldn't let up, and a second pin attempt this quickly would also give her a bit of an edge in the mental game. Tina needed Erin to doubt herself or her game plan. As strong as Tina was, as fit as she was she wasn't a match for Erin in terms of raw power or strikes despite Tina being better than most in those areas. She had to be quick, and smart tonight.

Erin was down but as of yet she was not out. Seeing Tina falling towards her the redhead would roll out of the way as quickly as she could. A hit like that would be detrimental to receive. The redhead couldn't afford to get caught again. Now about a foot from where she started out, she heard a loud thud next to her and assumed that Tina had just taken an uncomfortable slam to the mat. She couldn't help but cringe slightly at the thought.

Erin turned her head and seeing her foe crash down knees first, the Irish brawler knew this was a chance to get back onto the offensive. She'd try to grab the blonde by the arm and haul her back up to her feet. From there she'd toss the woman into the turnbuckle, hoping to corner her opponent and go in for some heavy hits. She quickly approached Tina, ready to aim a punch to her stomach.

Tina saw Erin approaching and her eyes widened. She couldn't weather much more of Erins storm. The woman was so strong and hit so hard with all her offense that tina had to act, and act now! Tina needed to be decisive, and hit Erin hard. She had to hit her fast too otherwise the woman would recover and make Tina pay big time.

To that end, as Erin lunged in Tina would reach out and grab Erin, spinning to throw Erin to the corner instead! That would not be enough though. Tina knew she had to stun Erin before she tried anything else. Be aggressive, be decisive. Tina howled as she swung her leg up, aiming a spinning roundhouse kick right at the side of Erins head as she spun around, trying to put Erin on the spot instead of being on the spot herself!

Erin charged in like a bull. Unfortunately she missed her mark. Tina reacted quickly and caused the redhead to barrel into the corner. "Ugh!" She groaned upon impact. This was one of the times the woman's weight and rushing in had clearly worked against her. It was ok though, the redhead could recover quick. She hadn't taken too big of a hit anyway.

As soon as Erin turned around though she was met with a hard kick to the head, nearly knocking her out on the spot. "Gaaaaah!" She cried out before slumping down slightly in the corner. Her arms wrapped around the top rope in an attempt to try and keep herself up on her feet. The woman was clearly dazed and wobbled a bit as she tried to pull herself back into a normal standing position.

Tina saw Erin slump and this was it! Given how tough Erin was, this may be the only chance she had to take it to her. Tina grabbed Erin around the waist, stepping in and groaning as she lift the bigger woman up to a sitting position on the top rope. Tina began to climb, her feet balancing precariously as she reaching over, grabbing Erin's arms to hook them and bend Erin over. Instead of her head between Tina's legs it was off to the side. Tina was about to try something new, something she never even thought of doing until now.

This is what it was like to face a woman of Erin's caliber. She had to pull out all the stops, and then some. Tina lift Erin up and spun, trying to fly down, using her power to lift and her speed to jump.... Tina was attempting to absolutely devastate Erin with a spinning top rope tiger bomb that would leave her planted on the canvass in the middle of the ring! As soon as it landed, Tina would keep her arms around Erins legs, and from her sitting position adjust her legs to be pinning Erin's arms down to the mat! Tina was feeling a rush of adrenaline, using all the strength she could to keep a firm hold of Erin to keep her pinned to the mat!

"ONE!"

Tina nodded her head with the count as an astonished crowd echoed the referee. Erin was so tough.. even this may not do the trick! Tina stayed tense, hoping against hope that this caught her off guard. If this didn't do it she didn't know what would!

Erin pushed against Tina as she was maneuvered into position for the woman's finisher. It was no use though, she found herself already being lifted into the air and off of her feet. Regaining more of her senses now the redhead realized that nothing good was about to come of this. "No! Ugh let go!" She yelled before Tina jumped into the air with the brawler in tow.

The next thing Erin felt was an intense pain coupled with all the air leaving her lungs. The woman gasped as she was slammed down hard onto the mat. Sure she had taken a lot before but Tina's move knocked the fight right out of her. The redhead lay on her back, not putting up much of a struggle as Tina pinned her down. The woman desperately needed her body to move but at the moment she was having a hard time just catching her breath.

"TWO!" Erin heard. After two moments the woman at least got some air back in her lungs and would start to struggle. At this point though she wasn't sure if it was too little too late.

Erin was pushing, and pushing back hard! Tina groaned as she kept the pin as secure as she could, hoping it was enough.

"THREE!"

She had done it. She still wasn't sure how but the three count came and she rolled off Erin. Everything was a blur. She heard the bell and crowd but just barely. When she was announced the winner things finally set in as the referee handed her the shiney big belt! "I... holy shit did it!" Tina shouted as she held the belt high then collapsed to the mat on her knees, hugging the belt to her chest.

Tina was still in disbelief as she made her way over to Erin, offering a hand to help her up.
