Re: Aella Midori "Queen of the Sky" vs Julia Lombardi "La Sensazione" [D]
Julia had taken a decisive turn when she decided to go for the pin. She was certain about her rival not being even close to a losing point, so going for a pinning maneuver was more a statement than anything, but in doing so she was giving up on any follow up opportunity, forcing the match to a reset after the count was denied. That was exactly what happened. After the referee hit the one count Aella broke the pin with an agile move and Julia was forced to retreat and give her some space as the two of them got up. From there the debutant didn’t want to lose her edge so she would wait until Aella was getting back on her feet to try a double leg takedown, but maybe letting the veteran recover was a bad idea.

Re: Aella Midori "Queen of the Sky" vs Julia Lombardi "La Sensazione" [D]
Aella had definitely been taken for surprise by Julia's string of offense, and to say she was impressed was an understatement. But that being said as she got back up after kicking out Aella was a bit disappointed that Julia had gone for the pin so early, and didn't make any move to follow up immediately after. It was a mistake that the older woman would be sure to have Julia pay for. Turning towards the woman Aella would ready herself as the brunette charged forward, going low for what seemed like a double leg takedown.
Smirking at this Aella ran right at her opponent, leaping up as the girl went low. If successful with her timing Aella would try and land on the girl's back, hooking her legs over the girl's arms before throwing her weight forward! If all went well than Aella would try and catch Julia with a quick sunset flip powerbomb! One that she'd try and turn into a pinfall attempt of her own right away! 'You're not the only one that can make a statement.' Aella thought to herself if she pulled the maneuver off successfully while waiting for the ref to count.

Re: Aella Midori "Queen of the Sky" vs Julia Lombardi "La Sensazione" [D]
Julia had been feeling pretty confident for some time now that she had broken the ice and knew a little bit more about what to expect from Aella. However, going for a pin so early proved being a big mistake since it denied the Italian the chance to capitalize on her streak and it gave Aella the time she just needed to recover and mount a comeback, and that was just what was coming to pass.
The Sensazione’s attempt to take her rival down was welcomed with an impressive feat of athleticism coming from Aella. The veteran managed to end up on top of Julia’s back, and before the debutant could even react the world turned upside down as she was caught in a sunset flip powerbomb! With a sound thud Julia impacted against the mat, all air escaping her body and leaving her winded. Only the counting of the referee woke her up, but even if she wanted to break the pin as quickly as Aella did before the debutant noticed that she couldn’t. Aella’s pin was strong and it was going to take more than that.
“ONE!”
“TWO!!”
Just after the second slap to the mat mustered Julia enough strength to whip her body and be free, saving the match by a tooth’s skin. For some seconds Julia would remain lying before trying to roll off and get some distance. Her rival’s experience was starting to really show and mark the difference between the two.

Re: Aella Midori "Queen of the Sky" vs Julia Lombardi "La Sensazione" [D]
Managing to successfully pull off her sunset flip into a pinfall Aella was pleasantly surprised that she had already gotten a near fall out of her opponent, and took it as a sign that she was starting to wear down the younger woman's stamina. Standing up to her feet and watching as the girl tried to tried to roll away as a form of escape.
'Oh I don't think so.' Aella thought to herself as she moved to try and grab onto Julia's ankles before she could make it to the ropesand, if successful, pull her back towards the center of the ring. Should she manage this then Aella would start to lift Julia's legs and entangle them around her own before reaching down to grab the girl's arms. Should she be able to do this without interruption than Aella would drop backwards, looking to lock Julia into a modified romero special submission!

Re: Aella Midori "Queen of the Sky" vs Julia Lombardi "La Sensazione" [D]
Just being able to escape from a pin, Julia was starting to feel exhausted. Her rival's veterancy was giving Aella the edge. The green haired had bigger know how and bigger physical prowess and even if the debutant had some good moments in the match it looked like her reserves of stamina weren't as big. That was how Julia wasn't capable of recovering from the pinning maneuver soon enough and the next thing the Italian felt was Aella grabbing her by the leg. "Oh no. Oh nonono.", was the only thing Julia could say before she was set up for a modified variant of a romero hold.
At that moment a world of pain was unveiled for Julia. Electric jolts coursed her lower back and lets. It was excruciating, a move that could totally end her match. She saw no escape from it and for some instants the thought of tapping out and let everything end was an option, but from out of nowhere Julia found the resolve to endure and not let her debut end like that! She would fight back, starting a slow crawl towards the ropes, biting her lips to ignore the pain as she would fight inch by inch until she could be at a distance from which she could reach the ropes and achieve her freedom

Re: Aella Midori "Queen of the Sky" vs Julia Lombardi "La Sensazione" [D]
Aella smirked softly as she put on this special romero variation. It was quite painful after all, and Aella wouldn't fault anyone for submitting to it. Albeit that essentially the reason she applied it. Not just as a means of trying to win, but as a means of testing her opponent's resolve and endurance. Something she'd done a few times now. But it'd be especially telling now with the girl's stamina obviously reaching its limit. So she pulled as tightly and painfully as possible, waiting to see what Julia would do.
Disappointed Aella was not. Agonizingly, slowly she shifted and shimmied, trying to get them closer to the ropes. Normally it wouldn't lead to much before she reached her limits, but Aella was quite impressed and as a result she'd grant Julia a boon. Releasing the girl's arms would free the rookie up a bit so she could start to crawl along the mat, Something that was just fine with Aella.. after all it freed her own arms up to grab Julia's ankle and add a twist making the hold more painful in exchange for making the crawl to the ropes even easier! Of course that being said Aella was a fair woman, and the moment Julia made it to the ropes she would release the hold in its entirety and back up to give her foe the chance to stand back up herself and compose herself.

Re: Aella Midori "Queen of the Sky" vs Julia Lombardi "La Sensazione" [D]
Julia was too busy trying to endure the predicament she was in the middle of, but there was something to all that exchange that would escape the Italian but was pretty obvious for anyone with a little wrestling knowledge and a knack for analysis, and it concerned Aella’s attitude. It turned out that for all the match’s length the veteran had been testing the debutant, not in a rude manner but in a way that pushed the Italian to press on and use all her might to stay alive while throwing all her resourced to try and get a win. In a very subtle and non-condescending at all way Aella was giving Julia a debut some would have killed for.
Of course that didn’t mean that Aella was holding her punches, quite the opposite. When Julia noticed her body becoming lighter as part of the hold was released suddenly she cried in pain as the hold became easier to escape but way more painful! Luckily for Julia, Aella had great sportsmanship and released her just the very instant the Italian’s hand gripped the ropes. The Sensazione rubbed her pained legs and lower back. She was running on fumes now but was still determined to give a decent performance, and she would start by trying to regain the initiative. She would walk to meet Aella before trying to hit her with a kick to her side. The Sensazione’s intentions were to make the veteran bend so she could set her for a DDT move.

Re: Aella Midori "Queen of the Sky" vs Julia Lombardi "La Sensazione" [D]
"Good job kid." Aella complimented with a nod of her head towards the girl, her tone genuine and kind, in spite of the hellish pain she had ust caused to the girl. After all, it was all in the name of pushing Julia forward, trying to get the girl to reach and break past her limits, and make as strong a first impression as possible with the LAW crowd. Watching her get up Aella would nod softly at her. She could tell the signs of exhaustion and paid wracking her body, likely making it near impossible to think or move, something that showed in the slow movement speed of the girl as she approached Aella. That was fine though because Aella didn't move at all, in fact she held her arms up with a challenging smirk on her face, as if inviting her opponent to do her worst. Waiting for the woman to approach before taking a kick to the gut. "Ngh!" Aella grunted in pain as she doubled over just as Julia wanted for her next move!

Re: Aella Midori "Queen of the Sky" vs Julia Lombardi "La Sensazione" [D]
Escaping from Aella’s proficient submission hold had proven to be a tough test, maybe the biggest trial Julia had ever had in her wrestling career and most likely one of the most difficult things she would have to endure on that match, but forcing a break felt like victory even if the Italian was now feeling exhausted and pained. Having her more veteran rival acknowledging Julia’s efforts also felt great even if it was strange for the Italian, but she would take the praise humbly. “Thanks, it was a tough cookie though.”
After that Julia knew that she had to make a statement to her rival, to everyone on the stands and most important to herself. She needed to show that she could do more than just react to whatever Aella threw at her, that she had the talent to survive in that league. All that started with a sudden kick thrown at the veteran’s side. The strike was fast enough to surprise Aella, and the sting of pain sufficient to make her bend on her stomach. “Okay, how’s this!?” That was just what Julia needed to get a proper hold on her rival and send the both of them to the mat with Aella impacting head first against the canvas in a DDT!

Re: Aella Midori "Queen of the Sky" vs Julia Lombardi "La Sensazione" [D]
Aella smirked and watched as Julia got up following getting the rope break to escape her submission. It was an impressive feat of resolve from her opponent and Aella truly appreciated it. So much so in fact that she would allow her opponent to have a boon by getting a solid kick in against her as she came running back in to the mat! Doubling over as a result from the blow Aella would have her head grabbed and pulled down down into the mat, smacking against it in a ddt! "NGH!" Aella groaned out in pain, rolling over from the impact and laying on the mat with a groan, seemingly stunned by the move!
