Suzume just nodded along. She already regretted her statement and didn't feel like making it worse. The two resumed their walk with just a brief silence before Kat spoke once more. "Heck...ya got me." Suzume replied before briefly sticking her tongue out at Kat. There was little more distracting to be done though as the two were just a few steps away from their destination. "Alright alright then. Let's go."

Suzume reached back to grab Katsumi by the arm, hurrying them forward. She'd tug them right past the door into a rather tiny looking place who's window had been plastered with the menu. Inside there were two small tables and a counter to order drinks. After pulling Katsumi in, Suzume paused to scramble around for her wallet. "Ok...not this pocket. Not here...gotcha!!" She soon fished out a small card with a few stamps on it, her prized reward card. It appeared she needed 3 more for a free drink.

Katsumi pauses again at Suzume's statement, and her expression softens. Hands shuffle back into her hoodie pouch, and her head ducks a little, as if being forced to make a grudging admission, despite the ghost of a smile that's found her features. "Yeah. Guess that's true." She's got Suzume. As long as Suzume doesn't disappear on her! The conflicting thought flashes in her mind, but it's overwhelmed by the notion that she actually has a friend; one who's loyal. One who wants to spend time with her, outside of what's required. One who's put up with her when she's at her worst, and cared enough to apologize for bailing on her even after. Suzume's a sweetheart. She's a troll, some kind of goblinoid monster when she has an advantage over someone, but she's a sweetheart.

Besides, who's Katsumi to judge people for being gremlins? She practically popped out of a wet Mogwai, herself.

Her arm is snagged, and the punkette is dragged along in a staggering hurry. "Ah-!" They enter the small establishment, and instantly aloud: "Are you sure about this? If they were good, they'd have a bigger place..." Her focus lands on Suzu-chan in short order, however. "Right. Matcha. Wait! Kiwi. No! Mango. Hang on!" She bobs anxiously on her toes, casting a suspicious glance to the flavor listings. "Strawberry." She hesitates, then nods. "Strawberry," she confirms.

As the two entered the tiny establishment, it appeared Suzume was now more excited than Kat for a sweet drink. Upon hearing their comment though the smaller of the two quickly turned to face Katsumi with cheeks puffed in a pout. "Hey. Small things come in good packages!" She'd quickly say before reaching up and delivering a very light chop right to Katsumi's head. "I mean umm...whatever. You know what I mean." She huffed before gently hip bumping Kat.

Her attention quickly turned back to the drink choices though. It was a long list but she already had an idea of what she wanted. Katsumi on the other hand seemed rather conflicted at first. Suzume couldn't help but giggle at her bouncing around between choices. Once they finally settled, Suzume walked up to the counter to place their order. "ok ok so a strawberry one with..." She quickly turned to Kat to ask about any toppings. Afterward she would turn back to order her own. "And just one of those matcha ones. Less ice and EXTRA whipped cream please." Suzume said, making sure to put some emphasis on the extra.

There was a little wait on the drinks, during which Suzume turned back to Kat. She'd hold her hands behind her back, swaying slightly before speaking. "Sooooo...this makes us good. Right?" She felt almost like she was bribing Kat

"Haha, what?," asks the punkette when Suzume flubs the saying. She gets the hipbump and response with one of her own, teasingly adding, "You are the smallest thing around, so I guess that checks out." She grins after Suzume, keeping herself in place to let Lil' Bit take the lead. As she speaks, she begins a docile rocking on her heels, patient as can be.

"No spit," Katsumi replies when Suzume gives her a prompting look.

As Suzume returns to her, Katsumi's rocking ceases and her head tilts to regard her curiously. When the question is posed, she's right there with her - this is an emotional bribe. But in fairness, it's practically one Katsumi herself put on the table. Her hands withdraw from her pocket and her palms gently smack together on the girl's cheeks, adding just enough pressure to lightly smoosh her into a fishy-face. "It really sucked thinking you ditched me. That you didn't want anything else to do with me. Like, it sucked a lot. Cuz you're special. Like the one person who liked me enough to wanna hang out with me. The, uh, stuff at my apartment notwithstanding..." Her eyes shift sheepishly aside for a moment before refocusing. "This... yeah." Her hands drop to Suzu's shoulders. "Just know that... I don't wanna lose ya. Okay?" It's a guarded response, her heart fortified especially so in public. But it's sincere.

Especially the part about not wanting spit in her boba.

"I am NOT the smallest..." Suzume huffed before ordering the drink. She didn't add the no spit part, wondering if that would have in fact just made them more likely to get their drinks spat in. While waiting for the drinks, she just wanted to make sure the two of them were now good. Suzume was met with Kat's hands pressing her cheeks together, leaving her with a comically confused expression. "Mmmm...mhm!" She'd just nod, unable to really reply. Not that she really needed to. She still felt awful about how she had handled the situation, but at least Kat was in good spirits now.

Finally Kat placed their hands on Suzume's shoulders. It seemed all was more or less forgiven. Suzume couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. "I know. I'm sorry. I don't wanna lose you either." She'd respond as she looked back at Kat, already starting to get a bit teary eyed. She didn't know whether to leave it there, or if she was going to go in for another hug.

She was soon interrupted by the sound of two plastic cups hitting the counter and ice sloshing around. "Drinks...are ready" The person behind the counter called out, clearly starting at and judging the two for trying to have a moment right there.

"Oh! I got it!" Suzume squeaked as she scurried over to get the drinks and scrambled back to hand Katsumi hers.

It was, indeed, becoming a sweet moment. And if Suzume wasn't about to hug Katsumi, Katsumi was about to hug her. Someone was getting hugged. But that stupid barista, who almost for sure spat in their drinks maybe, had to go and ruin it. Up until that point, the punkette was studying Suzume's eyes with a soft smile, really taking a long look at her mousy friend. In the back of her mind, she can't stop thinking about their last 'match' - up until that moment, she had started to regret how it went. It seemed like it messed everything up. But apparently it didn't. So now... she's not sure how she feels about it.

Suzume leaves her with those thoughts, her gaze trailing distantly off to the wall behind where Suzubean's head once obstructed. Suddenly jolted from the thought with a cup coming her way, Katsumi snaps to and takes it promptly.

"We should wrestle," she notes to her. Blunt and direct, this is the Oshiro way. And then she's suckin' on that boba, as if that phrase weren't potentially loaded.

After passing Kat her drink, Suzume quickly focused back on her own. While holding the cup with two hands, she went to work on her drink and pretty quickly the liquid level began to go down. "Mmmm~ I love getting these after a workout," She said with a wide smile, having finally taken a moment to breath. Sure she might not have really worked out any, but that didn't make a sweet treat any less sweet.

Suzume nearly choked on her drink when she heard her friend suggest they wrestle. "H-huh? You mean now? But drinks and...oh..." After a bit of stumbling over her words, Suzume had at least realized that Kat didn't mean immediately. Or at least she was certain enough to keep her cup in her hands. She wasn't quite sure if Katsumi meant wrestle as in the first time they had met, or the most recent though. Either way neither time had really had the best result. Although Suzume definitely had more fun with the recent wrestle than the first.

She would take a few moments to try and figure out what Kat was thinking. A long sip of her drink would give her a little time to mull it over. As tough as Suzume wanted to pretend to be, she wasn't exactly a stellar matchup against Katsumi in the ring. And so Suzume's mind would inevitably recall their last "rumble" and figure that's what Kat was getting at.

With a tilt of the head and a somewhat confused expression, she'd only reply with a "You sure?"

"Did you... actually workout?," Katsumi asks, her eyes narrowing a few degrees in unspoken accusation.

On to the more important matter at hand! At least, more important for professional wrestlers like them! "No, not right now, ya dingus," scoffs the punkette, confirming her suspicion. She takes a few sips on the boba while Suzume processes the suggestion, evidently not thinking too much about it, herself. In Katsumi's mind, one may be relieved to find there's more going on than a toy chimpanzee hammering cymbals together. It's a simple equation, really - the both of them like what they do enough to pursue careers in it and dedicate their bodies to it. They're friends. They should be doing it together.

So when Suzume presents her question, with such a heavy overtone to it that hits Katsumi's ear, she pauses suckin' on the straw. "Um." She hesitates, lipping awkwardly at the straw again as if to reclaim it, but it keeps nudging out of the way. "..maybe?," she says finally.

The cup lowers.

"I'm just sayin'. We're wrestlers. We wrestle. Why? Do you, uh.. regret.. wrestling earlier? There doesn't have to be anything hot'n bother-y about it! Can just be two girls in their battle bikinis trying to pin each other down violently. Like God intended." With a dutiful nod, she raises the cup again - only to lower it back down. "I'm not tryin' to pull something on you! Just- I dunno! Is it weird? Did we make it weird?"

Suzume's eyes darted to the side. She hesitated for a moment before responding with the least confident "Y-yesssss...YES! I did..." Did Kat buy it? Suzume wasn't sure. She was still having trouble looking them in the eyes. Whatever, it wasn't like Suzume couldn't afford a cheat day.

At least the conversation moved on quickly and Suzume didn't have to keep up an already crumbling façade. "Right right. Eheh I knew that." She replied with an awkward giggle before taking a sip of her drink. Eventually the topic of another wrestle came up. While Katsumi didn't seem to think much of it, Suzume had taken the opposite route and was overthinking it. She really didn't want another today on her hands. Her process seemed to be contagious and before she knew it, Katsumi was also overthinking albeit out loud.

Suzume responded with a nod signaling she didn't regret wrestling earlier. If anything she regretted how dumb she behaved afterwards. She responded to the rest with a series of nods, one for each statement. It wasn't terribly long before she had just made herself a little dizzy. "I umm...I dunno. Yeah probably." She finally spoke when asked if things were weird. "But I mean it's not like this whole business isn't weird to begin with." There was a pause as Suzume finished up the last of her drink. "I mean...battle bikinis right?"

"Right," says Katsumi with a sheepish duck of her head. "'Sides." She clears her throat softly. "You being all.. aggressive'n stuff was kinda hot. So it's your fault, really. You'n your dumb face'n squishy body."

She suddenly tilts her hips to lightly bump Suzume. For as much as she teases her, she wouldn't have been so distraught over the debacle if she weren't very fond of her. "But hey," she says as a placeholder before hurriedly finishing off her bubbletea, "no holding back next time. If ya were this time, I mean. I want the full Suzusperience."

She takes a moment to head for the trash, depositing the empty cup, and returns to the bespectacled girl. "So yeah. You'n me. Battle bikinis. Wrestle. Deal?" She turns her head slightly with a playfully smug smile, "I mean, now that I know you think I'm hotter than the sun, there's no point hidin' it."
