Re: When we met
Finella sat next to Chris and even if she knew what the smaller girl meant with "cursing this day", it stung a little.
"You know, life is'nt about sunshine every day, I thought that especially you should know this.",she said and hugged her a little tighter.
"For me, meeting you...being in the moment together, our music filling us, connecting us...made me forget all the pain and sadness that I felt this evening. And it was all because of you. And thanks to you, I rarely had a cloudy day in my life since then because Moonrock is a gift that keeps on giving...", she said with a smile and a wink to her friend and honorary sister.
"Would'nt you agree...Chris?", she said and sounded much more like the actual age she was and not the overly excited teenager she usually mimicked.
She looked into the fire and took one of the marshmallow sticks, poking around the embers to get the fire higher again before throwing in another log of wood.
"So...why do you hate Moni so much?", she suddenly asked, seemingly in the mood to talk open and like a grown up, a rare occasion anyway.

Re: When we met
Chris buried her face into Fin's shoulder as she responded. She knew life wasn't some box of chocolates, unfair events and painful times filled it up as much as the hope fueled and exciting times did. "...I appreciate all those times since, Fin. More than you can imagine," Was all Chris could think to say in response. A truthful statement, but there was some hollowness to it. "But if I had called you after that party.... I can't help but sometimes think things may have been different...
"But... I really do enjoy all the time we've spent together, sis," The rocker admitted, smiling at her sister's serious words. She listened to the cracle of the fire, just enjoying the sound it gave to the otherwise quiet night. After all the pain and heartache, this had been just what they needed.
And then, Fin had to ruin the calm mood by bringing up her sister. Even if the grownup tone and being adult was a nice change, the rocker couldn't help her sour frown. Just the girl's name alone irked her. "Why?" Chris asked, breaking away from the two's embrace. "Other than her acting against you? Blaming you when she was the one at fault? Turning her back on her own sister, her family, after so many years apart?"
The rocker curled her legs up to her, gritting her teeth as she just glared into the fire. "All because she just wanted to make Molly happy for a moment, she went behind your back, helped train that whore hare to beat you down, and hasn't taken any responsibility for it." Chris fought back tears in her anger, her voice cracking while growing louder. "Should I go on, or go further down the rabbit hole of reasons I have?"

Re: When we met
Despite it seeming that Finella was just a devil may care, childish, lusty and chaos loving Hellraiser, all of those things were just part of her but not the sum of her character. Finella had to grow up fast and she knew when to fight and when to withdraw, oh if she only had known with Chelsea tough, some parts of her body were still numb from this hellish match.
And so Finella listened to what Chris had to say as they both looked into the crackling fire and enjoyed the cool air of the night as the moon, bright and full, came up over the woods and started turn everything into silvery light. She kept quiet, noticing that Chris body went tighter and tighter with every word spoken, curling up to a ball almost. Finella then nodded and looked at her.
"Don't.", she just said.
"I won't tell you what to do. That would be hyppocritical. I just...suggest you to let it go. Not for me...but for yourself. I made up with Chelsea in the hospital you know and since then I feel...much more free. It is like a ton of weight dropped of my shoulders.", she said and then shook her head.
"Sorry if I sound condescending or preachy. I just learned that life's to short to hold grudges...and know what too?", she asked while looking at Chris.
"To share any more delicious marshmallows! Nehehehe!", the Wolf grinned and took the bag away from Chris side and dug in, putting a handful of the icky sugary grossness into her mouth and chewed onto it, the Fin Chris knew seemed to have gotten control again but when Fin happily chewed and swallowed the big all of sugar, a happy smile came to her face.
"Fight each other. Get it out of your systems like the wrestlers you are!", she said and took a big gulp of her beer, crashing the can and threw it onto the pile Chris had set up.
She cracked open another can and took another big swig.
"Gaaah! And fast...", she added enjoying the first fresh sip of her beer.
"...or it ends like with Chels and me...or worse. Also as much as I hate to admit it. Maybe Moni was right with at least some things...did you know that she actually was the much more careless one when we were teenagers?", she asked and snickered.
"God, Moni was brutal back then, hard to think that chick became a classy world famous model behaving like a lady...I witnessed her eating and they call me Wolf!", she said and her face turned warmer with memories wailing up within her.

Re: When we met
Chris grew more and more upset the longer she spoke, holding herself back some. She didn't want to explode it all on Fin, bad mouthing the blond bitch any more than she was to the little sis. Even if the biggest reason, what was the real issue, still hadn't been voiced. Something the hard headed, hard rocking wrestler couldn't let herself say out loud.
But she still listened to what Fin said, trying to be a helpful sister. Trying to help her impartially, giving her advice. It was wise, the rocker had to admit, very un-Fin like. But, the rocker did slowly undo her curl, steadying a shaky breath she hadn't realized she held. "I... I'll... consider it..." She relented. "You're not sounding preachy Fin. You actually... sounded thoughtful. Must be a full moon for you to be so insightful."
As she made her little joke, Fin lunged for the marshmallows and stole them. "Hey!" Chris grabbed the bag before her sis could wolf any more down, glad to see Fin acting more like herself for a brief moment. Then she went back to her insightful self, leaving Chris to straighten back up.
Her ears perked at the mention of Moni being the more cares-not when they were younger, raising an eyebrow in surprise. "You're serious? Pretty princess model? Are you yanking my chain?" Honestly, it was hard to imagine such. Fin surely had to be misremembering, right?

Re: When we met
Finella grinned. One thing she loved and adored about her smoll big sister was her determination and standing to her principles. Tough, from her own experiemces, she knew that sometimes it was better to let a grudge end before it could swallow you whole.
She grabbed a chunk of mallows, shoved them in her mouth and drank a sip of beer before turning to Chris, her cheeks puffed.
"Mhm! Mfeh gfha vewy mfugh gah...", she said while nodding and then swallowed the ball of sugar and alcohol with a loud gulp before letting out a loud belch that echoed over the lake and let Fenrir bark in confusion for a second.
"Sorry, boy.", Finella said and wiped the beer from her lips.
"All I can say is that I won't get in either of your ways. But...", she took Chris hand and gave it a squeeze. "Let's just make it a normal match and not a slaughterfest like Chelsea and I had done. You know where that got us. I love you both equally and for very different reasons. That means I need BOTH of you alive and well or you make me very sad ...", she said and gave Chris a pout plus big wolfpuppy eyes to underline her attack on the rockers heart.

Re: When we met
Chris sighed heavily, unable to steal what remained of the gelatinous treat before Fin filled her mouth. Not to mention the burp that startled their beloved pup, who she called over to her side. Petting Fenrir along his head, Chris sat and listened as Fin asked her not to go as hard as she and Chelsea had.
Chris did want to fight Moni, get it out of her system. But she also wasn't sure how to go about it exactly. The last time she went after someone who angered her this much, she'd gone about it all wrong. Breaking Veri's arm, even if everyone said it was something she had coming, was too far. Even if she wanted to break that smug model's face, she couldn't imagine injuring her similarly or worse.
How to go about it.... she just couldn't think of it without that worry arising.
She looked over just in time to see the adorable pout, a final, guilt fueled gut punch to the little rocker. "...Fine," she said, pulling Fin over to lay her head on the Hellraiser's shoulder. "I promise that however we go at it, whenever we do... we both will be able to stand up, without needing someone to help us. It won't be like you and Chels or...... or anything farther than fisticuffs." Chris hugged her sis and Fenrir as she spoke, seeking some bit of comfort as that fear started rearing its ugly face to her.

Re: When we met
The wolf, as brash, childish and agressive she could be was surprisngly levelheaded when it came to picking fights. Finella had learned at a young age that just throwing yourself without weighing up your options was a very bad idea. The feud with Chelsea had shown her this again. Some things must came from your brains and not your gut. And when Chris leaned over, Finella yawned and snuggled up next to her, giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"Dankeschön Chrissi." She hummed one of their songs, enjoying the view of the moon in the lake before it hit her. "Why don't you challenge her then when we come back tomorrow? Gives you something to think about if my snorring keeps you awake.", she chuckled as they went for their tent, being embraced by the moonlight, cool and peaceful sounds of the night...
"Gute Nacht, Sis. Ich hab dich lieb.", she whispered before closing her eyes.
-----
Finella groaned as they finally reached the main entrance of the national park again and dropped onto a bench to rub her aching thighs.
"Remind me to plan our next weekend trip by myself...", the Hellraiser said and cracked open a can of beer.
"Fuckin Cardio...give me some weights to push, thats better!", she said and downed the beer.

Re: When we met
Chris hadn't realized how late it was until her sis yawned, followed soon by Fenrir and lastly with her. "I'll.. think about it. But don't think your snoring is gonna keep me up. Hasn't yet," she said confidently, letting go and cleaning up the site. Gathering any trash - aka Fin's cans and the sticks for their dinner - and killing the fire, before joining Fin in the tent.
Chris got into the shared sleeping bag, Fenrir curling up aside them to not feel left out. The rocker yawned again, curling up against her sis. "Gute nacht, Fin... Ich hab dich auch lieb..." she said, her own eyes falling soon after.
Maybe Fin was right. Get it over with rather then let it continue festering. Just have a standard match where she could lay Moni out and have her regret what she did. Even if it wasn't anything close to what the bitch deserved, in her opinion.
Maybe it should be some other match. Nothing too painful, given her promise, but there had to be something. She'd have to think of it during their quiet weekend, but not so much to ruin the fun.
This was to make Fin feel better. Not for any more drama...
-------------------------------------------------------
Chris stretched as she followed Fin out of the entrance, Fenrir following close behind. The weekend had passed by way to fast, in her opinion. "Look, if you bring your own weights, fine. But I'm not gonna try weightlifting with whatever large rocks you try and find. Who knows what's been on them," she pointed out, clapping her sis on the back. "But you can't say it wasn't a good time, right? After all the laying about me and the docs have oh so lovingly forced on you? Right?"

Re: When we met
It really had went by fast tough if Finella was truely.and brutally honest with herself then she was glad that both of them got back into "civilization". Growing up on an alpine farm with only her sister and farm animals to keep her busy had really made her consider the joys of romanticized "Country Life". For Finella, who loved video games, all kinds of delicious fast food and the movies, the city was her place to be. She really liked being thrown into the crowd and enjoying the lights and energy of Tokyo!
Tough of course she had enjoyed it. For her sister and their beloved pet alone and so Finella, despite being stung by mosquitos, sweating and being exhausted, at least, in her head she felt well. So when Chris brought it up she only grinned her big wolfsmile and raised a thumb while her other hand patted Fenrir who whimpered approvingly.
"It was the greatest vacation I ever had, Chrissi!", she said and Fenrir, as if to join in , barked a few times.
"See, he liked it too!"
Their train then arrived and they went in, Finella taking one look back over her shoulder.
"Chris...we will come back here...next year and the year after and so on...yes?", she asked while her gaze was locked onto the mountain top of the dead volcano.

Re: When we met
Chris was happy to hear that Fin had enjoyed herself. Even if she was more a city girl, despite the few interesting stories from the wolf of her time on the farm with Moni, the rocker had worried Fin would push herself a bit too much after getting off bed rest. But it seemed that worry was for nothing. Even Fenrir seemed happy, so Chris couldn't be happier.
She looked back at the park, grabbing their dog's leash, as Fin may as well have asked for it to be a yearly trip. "Yeah, of course." Chris said without delay, as they got on the train. "Heck, maybe if things go as you want, maybe we can bring some more people. If you'd want, that is."
She sat down in a seat, as the train took off back to Tokyo. Her gut dropped, knowing where their first stop would be. Anticipation to try and be civil, and for what she was going to do when they got there.
