Sanae Saitou vs. Toshimi Minami - Submisson Match

Sanae had long been known as a bubbly, friendly, good-natured girl, who never took much seriously and who wanted nothing more than to put smiles on the faces of all her fans with the hard work she put in and the breathtaking manuevers she could pull off. But there was none of that now. Now, Sanae had been challenged to surpass any limits she might have had by an opponent who had nothing but scorn and disdain for her. The same old happy faces and cheers weren't going to work any more. Now, Sanae had to show the world what she could really do if she got serious! Some in the crowd were shocked to see such harsh words of defiance coming from the green-haired girl - but Sanae wasn't about to stop now!

Even in falling back from Minami, losing her position atop her, Sanae was still going to fight back! Her legs shot out, wrapping around the veteran's head to anchor herself in place! Gritting her teeth to steel herself, Sanae bridged her back upward, bending into an arc in an effort to exert all the force she could against her opponent's head. Her hair dangling in the air beneath her, she had to brace her hands against the mat to keep herself up; she saw the world upside-down with her head hanging low, but it wouldn't stop her even for a second! Sanae needed to prove to the world she was stronger than Minami could ever hope to imagine, and there couldn't be the slightest room for doubt or hesitation!

She twisted her hips from side to side, trying to jostle Minami around in place while she squeezed her head as tightly as she could. Her brows narrowed more and more, her teeth clenched in a desperate grimace. All the blood was starting to rush to her head, and she grew dizzy, her attention fading in and out of focus. She wasn't sure how long she could hold such a position, but that didn't matter. Whatever the case might have been, she'd do it until she simply couldn't any more!

Minami was one of the most gifted technical wrestlers to ever step in a wrestling ring. She knew nearly every hold there was inside and out. How to use them, what they targeted, when and what was best to use with everything. Yet she was struggling with Sanae's use of relatively basic holds. It wasn't as if they were impossible to escape or that Sanae was using them in a particularly advanced way. Rather she just kept applying and using them in unorthodox ways that threw Minami off with how odd they are.

Case in point the headscissor she was currently trapped in. It wasn't as if it was a super dangerous or advanced move. Hell it was one of the most basic! Yet Sanae had applied it when getting thrown and was bridging her back, elevating the position she was applying it from the rear. Something unheard of that gave Minami no real leverage to work with to try and untangle the girl's legs or get them off. Meaning that Minami had to do this the old fashioned way, pulling at and pressing against Sanae's legs to try and get some breathing room before reaching around to try and grasp at the girl's feet.

If she managed this then Minami would attempt to pull at the lock there and forcibly loosen the headscissor. It was difficult to do with the squeeze of Sanae's thighs and the awkward, uncomfortable angle her head was being bent back in, but Minami had the resolve to bear the pain as slowly but surely she would pry Sanae's legs off of her! Keeping hold of the limbs though Minami would seek to stand and turn around around, glaring at Sanae. "All you'll prove is that you're trash that should have never stepped in a ring!" Minami shoulder before attempting to cross Sanae's legs around her own and falling back, trying to lock in a figure four leg lock on Sanae!

In some ways, Sanae had ignorance on her side. She had never been the most technical of wrestlers, lacking the knowledge and expertise of some of her coworkers and even some of her close friends - it was exactly for that reason that Minami had engineered this situation to keep her at her most vulnerable. But when it came to talent, she was like a sponge. She learned plenty just from seeing her opponents use the moves she did, and without even needing to have it explained to her how to set up each move, or why they were effective, she could surmise how they could serve her well. She had, in effect, taught herself much of what she would need to draw on for this match. And when Sanae had taught herself, no one could tell her she was doing anything wrong! Even though she didn't have a fraction of the experience Minami did, she had the free spirit of someone who had to think and adapt on the fly, which led her to innovate new strategies that her opponents couldn't see coming! It wasn't like she had much choice - Sanae was desperate. When she felt so far out of her league as she did, yet was still as determined to win as she was, every second that seemed like it could be used to her advantage couldn't be passed up. She had to take it!

But Sanae's unorthodox tactics were putting just as much of a strain on her as they were on Minami. Applying the headscissor while she was bent over backward, Sanae was forcing herself into an uncomfortable arc, bearing all the weight of her body on her palms, and already they were starting to buckle under the load. With her head pointed down, she couldn't see where she was aiming, and all the blood was rushing to her head, where her vision had begun to blur and warp. Little by little, her stamina was beginning to fail her. Her twitching legs began to loosen from around Minami's head. And with that, the veteran was able to take her by the legs, prying them off!

With a gasp, Sanae fell to the mat, landing with a thud. She flopped onto her back, coughing and panting for breath as she struck the canvas hard enough for her to bounce into the air. When the girl realized that Minami was getting to her feet, grabbing for her once again, she began to kick her legs and twist from side to side, trying to escape her foe's clutches. But it was no use - Minami turned herself around, grasping Sanae's legs with her own as she dropped down to complete the figure-four leglock!

Suddenly feeling all the pressure of Minami's weight come down on her legs and back, Sanae threw her head back with a scream. Her body was erupting in pain, but what hurt even worse was how she had to listen to Minami taunt her all the while - how, no matter how hard she struggled to prove herself, the former Wrestle Angel wouldn't even be bothered to give her the time of day. The disdain in her voice was palpable, and it stirred Sanae to action - just to prove that she was better than what Minami thought!

Her hand balled into a tight fist, and her teeth clenched in a snarl as she snorted under her breath at Minami like an angry bull. No matter how much it hurt, Sanae couldn't let Minami win. Not this match, and not the duel they were currently locked in! With all her will to prove herself, she attempted to throw herself over to the side, hoping to roll to her back and reverse the hold!

Minami had never felt such mortifying same in a match until tonight. Even when her clothes were torn to shreds and she was pinned or put in shameful submissions, it didn't compare to tonight. When those moments had happened, it was against the likes of Bomber Kishima, Mighty Yukiko, Beauty Ichigaya, women that Minami could respect and appreciate for their skills and ability. They were her peers and greatest rivals, some of the best wrestlers Minami knew.

This girl however? She was nothing. A phony. A wanna be pop star that was using wrestling to launch her own career, someone that sickened Minami just to imagine that she was in the same business as her. Thats what made this mortifying. Despite a dominant start in this match, and despite having Sanae dead to rights, the little bitch had managed to not only counter back, but even do quite a bit of damage to Minami in the process!

It was all a shame that Minami would have to bear, and the only way to rectify it would be to completely end Sanae's career tonight. So to start that off Minami would grab Sanae's legs after getting the girl off of her finally. Bending and crossing the girl's legs around her own limbs before dropping back, twisting Sanae into a brutal figure four leg lock! A hold that Minami had much success with that she knew would cause utter agony which, going by the screams from Sanae it was doing just that.

Despite it though, when Minami sat up to see if Sanae was quitting... She saw not even a brief moment of weakness in the girl's eyes. Instead Sanae started to shift up and to the side, again and again, trying to shift momentum. "Don't you da-Aghhhhhhh!" Minami's reply to Sanae's attempts were cut off once she was turned around and forced onto her stomach along with Sanae, reversing the hold on the veteran and causing all the pain and stress Minami had forced onto Sanae to be flipped onto Minami instead!

"DAMN YOU!" Minami hissed out in pain, grabbing her own hair and trying not to show too much of the shame she was feeling right now but it was hard. After all she was the Venus of Submissions, Wrestle Angels veteran, Master of Joint Locks and holds, and here she was with her own submission turned against her by an absolute novice. Shifting and moving her legs Minami tried to undo the submission from her end, knowing that from here the best thing to do would be to break the submission all together and gain some distance.

Sanae's whole body was rigid with all the tension and adrenaline pouring through her veins. Her heart was pounding, and her teeth were clenched tightly in a grimace. She knew, for just a few short seconds, that she had secured the advantage on Minami. She was rising to the challenge. Maybe, just maybe, she could even beat her. However slim the chances were...they were still there, and if that was the case, Sanae wasn't about to look back!

Even as Minami got up from the mat, taking the green-haired girl by the legs and twisting them into position for a figure-four, Sanae knew she had to keep her head in the game. She couldn't afford to lose hope now. She sucked in a breath, her fists clenching tightly at her sides as she prepared herself for what was to come. Though she thought as hard as she could, in the end, she couldn't stop Minami from manuevering her into the dreaded leglock and dropping down, putting all the pressure on her legs and joints. She knew this was a dangerous hold in the hands of a submission master like Minami, and now all the force she could exert was bearing down on her, making it feel like her legs could snap. But no matter how much it hurt...Sanae still had hope. Even as the world around her felt like it was on fire from the searing pain, there was one thing she knew, and that she couldn't lose track of. A move like this could still be reversed. She knew how to do that; all she needed was to work up enough momentum to roll the two of them over! And sure enough, she was able to do just that!

As Sanae landed on her back, she panted a couple of times, trying to catch her breath. Her body was still hot from the exertion she'd been through, and her legs were still aching. But when she heard the screams ripped from Minami's lungs, she could hold firm in the knowledge that whatever she was doing, it was working! She had gotten even the Venus of Submissions to cry out in pain, and that only emboldened her all the more to squeeze even tighter to her legs, determined to force herself to the limits of what she was capable of!

But if Sanae knew how to escape from the predicament she was in, it only stood to reason that someone with as much experience and expertise as Minami would be all the more prepared for such a hold. Before long, the veteran herself began to twist back and forth, and even when Sanae tried to shift her hips from side to side to exert as much pressure as she could, she was well aware it would only be a matter of time until her foe escaped. So rather than try to hold onto the figure-four, Sanae would try something else. She remembered what she had done in her last match with Alizeh, and how that had worked in her favor. That had all but turned the tides against another opponent who easily outstripped her in submisson skills. She hoped she could make the same lightning strike twice!

Seeing it was futile, Sanae indeed let go of Minami's legs. But she wasn't going to let her get away. Almost as soon as that had happened, the green-haired girl rolled to the side, then bent over forward, going to grab one of Minami's legs with her hands. Her legs kicked out for her opponent's other leg, squeezing tight around it before Minami would have the chance to pull back. If she could secure the hold, Sanae would try to roll over on her back and wrench Minami's legs out to the sides, spreading them with a banana split!

Minami was in utter shock right now. Here she was, the Venus of Submissions, having trouble in a contest of grappling against the likes of Sanae Saitou, a wanna be wrestler and idol that was a disgrace to the sport as a whole. Someone that Minami had vowed to end the career of when she entered this match, but now Sanae was close to being the one in control of it!

Scratch that, Sanae had all but taken control by reversing the figure four leg lock that Minami had applied, reversing all the damage and pain of the move onto Minami herself and forcing the woman to think of a way to reverse it back or worse yet, abandon the hold all together. But that would be such a sign of weakness that Minami couldn't bear to live with. Or so she thought at least, but soon, very soon Minami would find herself dead wrong once Sanae had abandon the reversed figure four herself, freeing Minami but only momentarily.

That was was just for Sanae to have enough time to shift her position around, grabbing hold of Minami's leg with one set of hands and wrap her legs around Minami's other leg. A hold that Minami would know all too well from past usage. "Don't you d-Aghhhhhhh!" It was too late before Sanae locked in the hold, forcing Minami's legs apart in the brutal and humiliating leg split submission. Something that not only got Minami to release a full scream of pain... But also caused her to blush extremely hard and cover her face with her arm, clearly overtaken with shame. It was a terrible weakness, one she tried to keep under wraps, but Minami just detested humiliating and exposing holds, they were her kryptonite.. and now Sanae had stumbled onto it, and Minami, for the first time since the match had started looked totally helpless!

Was this...actually happening? A part of Sanae wasn't expecting this to work. How could it? She was taking on the Venus of Submissions herself - it seemed unthinkable that any hold could best her, when she commanded so much knowledge and expertise of any way the body could bend in the ring. But she had to try. This was a submission match, after all, so she didn't have any other options. She had to win this match, one way or another - it was the promise she'd made to herself. And it was the promise she'd made to Minami, too. The last thing she could tolerate was Minami walking away from this match still convinced that Sanae was nothing more than a hopeless wanna-be!

When it came time for Sanae to decide her next move, she decided to go with what worked, taking a page from her match with Alizeh. It seemed to serve her well then, so it only seemed natural it was worth a try now. What Sanae didn't see coming was how well it would work. As soon as she had Minami's legs pulled apart, as soon as she was rolled over to hold her in the position, all will to fight seemed to melt away from the veteran, leaving her frozen in place!

The crowd erupted into cheers now - partly from getting a perfect view of Minami's crotch, but mostly for the fact that Sanae was standing up to the ultimate challenge, and she had just managed to turn the odds in her favor! When this match started, there were still a few doubters who weren't sure if Sanae ever stood a chance, no matter how well she'd fared against anyone she'd taken on earlier. Now, though...now, everyone was sure that possibility existed.

And no one was more convinced than Sanae herself! As the excitement ran over her, her smile grew wider across her face as she looked up to where Minami covered her face. Her heart was pounding, sure that every passing moment took her closer to victory. And if that was the case...she could afford the time to gloat!

"Still think I'm hopeless?! Still think I won't go anywhere!? Is that all you have in you, Venus?" Sanae called back, the confidence in her voice building with each word as she leaned in closer over her foe. It was more forceful than anyone had ever seen from her - but now, Sanae knew she was out to win this, and she couldn't look back! She needed the world to see her in her proudest moment!

This was bad. Very, very, very bad. Humiliation based moves were Minami's greatest weakness, her kryptonite, an achilles heel she could never get over and as a result one of her greatest kept secrets. One only a hand full of people knew from her days in Wrestle Angels and why it hadn't been exposed yet. However now pandora's box was opened. Sanae through either sheer luck or fortuitous timing, had locked such a hold on Minami, and was now bearing witness to Toshimi Minami, the Venus of Submissions, in one of her all time weakest moments whilst locked in the banana split.

So wrapped up in the pain and shame of the move Minami's mind was all but mush, unable to process anything. Escape, attack, thrash? All of which were things she should be doing but she couldn't bring herself to think. Not when so many people were looking at her in such a shameful state.. That was until Minami heard the words Sanae was throwing towards her, flexing the moment and using it further prop herself up.

Ironically this was enough to break through the miasma plaguing Minami's mind right now, even if barely. After all, much as Minami hated to admit it, Sanae was right. Was this all she had? Legendary wrestler as she was? Would this be how she let things go after getting caught in a single shameful hold? No. It absolutely wouldn't. Gritting her teeth tightly Minami would sit up, as much as she could whilst in the hold, almost getting level with Sanae since she was leaning closer as well.

Gritting her teeth tightly despite the blush still present on her face Minami would glare hatefully at Sanae. "Let! Me! Go! Dammit!" Minami would yell out furiously as she punctuated each word with a punch aimed at Sanae's face, hoing that the sheer force of the blows would be enough to force the girl into releasing the hold, or at the very least loosening it enough for Minami to scramble backwards and close her legs up if successful!

It was only by a stroke of luck that Sanae had landed upon it, but the green-haired girl had struck gold. In her attempts to keep the pressure on Minami, using a hold she knew had worked for her in the past, she'd inadvertently stumbled upon her opponent's greatest weakness, and now she had her all but paralyzed in her grasp! It was the kind of underdog comeback story no one thought they would ever see, but that they all hoped to see happen. Now, seeing the bright-eyed rookie dominating the very same accomplished veteran who had shown her nothing but derision and scorn, the entire arena was bursting into cheers. And Sanae was just as excited - her heart racing; her hold tightening more and more against Minami's legs to anchor herself in place. For all she knew, victory was right around the corner. She needed to run after that and never look back!

But there was only so long Minami could listen to Sanae taunt her before she found the will in her to fight back. Just as Sanae had been motivated to greater heights by the desire to prove her opponent wrong, so too was Minami determined to prove Sanae wrong - to show her that her attempts at pulling off the upset of a lifetime were hopelessly naive. Even with the idol wrenching her legs apart in different directions, Minami was able to force herself upright, into a seated position. Sanae's body buckled against the strain; her teeth clenched and her face grew red with the building pressure as she fought just as hard to stretch Minami's legs apart even while she was moving, and she shook her head in defiance. But in the end, her efforts were no good - Minami swung punch afer punch into Sanae's face, with all the brunt of her rage behind each one!

Every punch she landed jostled Sanae around, causing her to cry out in pain as her hips bucked and her body spasmed. She was trying as hard as she could to stay on, but in the end, she knew it was hopeless. Sanae had no choice but to let go of Minami, her arms and legs dropping away from her legs. At the same time, though, she threw herself back to roll away from the veteran, trying to get a safe distance away before rising to her hands and knees. Sanae knew better than to leave herself open, at her foe's mercy!

Minami was in dire straights, as much as she positively hated to admit it, especially against her current opponent, but there was no other way to put it. The comeback the girl had managed to put up against her had been bad enough, but now Sanae, through some stroke of luck had managed to find Minami's weakness, humiliating holds that left her near unable to do anything. Key word being near though. As humiliating to her as they were, and as much as Minami hated to be in them, Minami wasn't going to take Sanae's smart mouth laying down! So managing to sit up and fire some punches at Sanae's face, Minami had managed to successfully do enough damage to the green haired girl to finally force her into letting go!

"Agh!" Gasping in relief as the strain on her legs finally eased Minami would immediately roll over, pulling her legs together immediately, keeping them closed up as tightly as possible while her hand immediately tended to the sorest areas. "Ngh... damn.." Minami said to herself with a wince of pain as she tried to push herself up, only to fail. Mentally Minami knew, just knew that she had to get up as soon as possible, to take revenge on Sanae and try to end this match as soon as physically possible. However that was exactly Minami's issue. Mentally she knew what to do, but physically she wasn't in condition to act on it, her legs were still insanely sore, likewise she wasn't completely over the humiliation she just went through.

In other words, despite her best efforts to try and sit up, that's all it would be. An effort. One that would fail as Minami was forced to stay in her seated position for now. An extremely vulnerable target for Sanae should the girl find her way up to her feet first, which at this point seemed like quite the possibility...
