Emeralds in the Rough: Kyoko & Alizeh

Kyoko kept the submission up, trying her best to keep Kyoko locked in nice and tight. She had followed every step to the best of her ability but now it was on her to maintain every part of the stretch to be as tight as possible. Eventually, she managed to get the verbal 'thumbs-up' from Alizeh, prompting her to let go. She had managed to strain the woman's body and put her into a solid submission hold. With just that bit of advice alone, she had seemingly improved by leaps and bounds from where she just was moments prior. She let Alizeh go and quickly moved to help her back up, smiling at her with a bright sense of enthusiasm and pride, like a child who had just been told by their parent that they had done a 'good job', the level of dopamine a simple compliment could bring was far too underrated...sometimes, it was all somebody needed to lift their spirits up from the ground and into the clouds.

After getting freed from the new and improved version of Kyoko's rodeo stretch Alizeh would push herself back up, with some help from the girl in the process. Looking at the young lioness it was clear that Alizeh's praise had a positive effect on the girl's own belief in herself and confidence. Something that was just fine with Alizeh since it would lead to a definitive improvement in her performance later on. "Alrighty." Alizeh said while rolling her neck to clear out some of the kinks that had formed. "I know when I demod the move on you it had a bit of an effect. But you feeling up for some more fun?" Alizeh asked, wanting to make sure she wouldn't be pushing Kyoko too hard or risk injuring her or anything of that nature.

While the petals of sakura flowers continued to spill endlessly from the young lady's luscious head of hair, Kyoko remained composed as she relaxed her already strained body. Training with Alizeh was no joke, just a couple of exercises and routines into their session and she was already feeling tense and stressed out. That modified stretch from earlier did a number on her and the pain just didn't want to leave her body yet. Still, she didn't want to up and quit on Alizeh or stop any of this momentum that they were building up, she'd felt that she would've left the green-haired woman disappointed if she did. So she smiled brightly and put a thumbs up as she did so. "Sure am...I'm here to work and improve!" She said cheerfully, sounding awake and energetic.

Alizeh waited patiently for a response from Kyoko, she wouldn't blame the girl one bit if she wanted a break or something. After all her routine was all about fast paced, hard energy workouts and that stretch she used had definitely done a number. It didn't take a genius to see. But Kyoko affirmed she was down to continue and Alizeh would just smile and nod, going with it. "Alrighty." Alizeh said as she clapped her hands and turned around to look at the corner. "We'll turn our focus back to high flying stuff." Alizeh said while pointing at the corner.

"This is actually something my abuelo used to do with me so I know from experience it helps with getting more comfortable with moving on the ropes." Alizeh said while turning to look at Kyoko and smiling. "Basically I'll take a run at the corner and do some kinda trick off of it. You follow after me and try you're best to mimic me. I'll start small than get more and more intricate with each one. Sound good?" Alizeh asked, wanting to insure that Kyoko had the idea of it all and could handle it before starting.

Though she was feeling the effects of the training session beginning to weigh her down, Kyoko pushed forward regardless of the aches she was suffering. After all, no pain, no gain, right? "Sounds good to me!" Kyoko responded, preparing herself for some intensive acrobatic work. She gave her lithe, thin-framed body a few good stretches before getting into position, studying Alizeh's movements, readying herself to not only observe but to imitate as well.

Before continuing with things Alizeh wanted to insure that her trainee was feeling up for it physically. Something the girl would say she was vehemently. Whether this was totally true or not Alizeh didn't know, but so long as Kyoko felt ready Alizeh wouldn't complain! "Alright then follow me!" Alizeh said as she ran to the corner and started off simply by jumping up on the middle rope and using it to vault up to the top rope on the opposite of the corner. From here Alizeh would backflip off the top and land on her feet before moving out of the way. "Then after that show me this!" Alizeh would add as she darted back to the corner, leaping straight up and bracing her foot on the middle of the corner before using her other to kick off the corner and do a straight backflip off the corner to land back on the mat elegantly before turning to Kyoko with a look that said 'you're turn.'

While the green-haired trainer was instructing and demonstrating, Kyoko followed Alizeh's movements with a keen eye, studying them carefully once more and trying to get a feel for how she was performing them. She takes a deep breath and focuses. First, she performs the very same backflip that Alizeh had performed a moment ago, taking care to climb up the ropes and position herself correctly before leaping off the top backward, landing on her feet with a slight stumble due to impact and then repositioning herself to attempt the next move. She runs up to the corner, braces herself accordingly, and proceeds to kick off of the corner for another backflip, sticking the landing a little better this time.

Alizeh had performed the first pair of tricks for Kyoko to imitate and now stood to the side to watch the girl do the same. Nodding Alizeh spotted the somewhat shaky landings and nodded to herself but after she finished both Alizeh would seamlessly rush back at the ropes. "Hup!" With a small yell of effort Alizeh would leap up, grabbing the top ropes and lift her body up into the air, keeping herself suspended for a moment before pushing off the ropes with her hands to land back on her feet. Not done yet however Alizeh would turn and vault over the ropes to the outside apron before rushing back at the corner, leaping up and swingin herself around the corner in a move reminiscent of pole dancing so that her thighs were on the top ropes before bouncing up and off of them for what looked like it would have been a split legged moonsault if she had an opponent. Since she didn't though Alizeh would simply land on her feet before and, for a little extra flair she would then perform an extra backflip before turning to watch Kyoko attempt the same.

Kyoko was...impressed...to say the least. Her movements looked so fluid and simple, but the rookie was worried if she'd even come CLOSE to nailing a single one of those moves right. Regardless of her anxieties, she at least had to TRY. If she couldn't do that then she didn't deserve to be here in the first place. This same message repeated in her mind over and over and over again any time she got scared. TRY. TRY. TRY. TRY...otherwise, just pack up your bags, grab Mochi, and QUIT...but that wasn't an option. That would NEVER be an option. So Kyoko found her inner spirit and determination and she rushed forward, attempting all the same moves that Alizeh performed...and as a result, a lot of the moves were executed with less than satisfactory results. That last 'landing' resulted in Kyoko flopping and landing on her backside with a stiff grunt upon her botching that move...but it's not like her attempt was entirely terrible, there was an honest attempt with some pretty solid form in-between the rough parts.

Alizeh knew in all honesty that Kyoko likely wouldn't be able to do what she just did. She was too green and honestly rather exhausted from their work out so far. Which was fine as far as Alizeh was concerned, but she had seen Kyoko's effort all throughout their training and knew the girl had what it takes, but she considered this a final test to see how willing the girl was to put herself out there and possibly fail.. And she did it. No fear, a little hesitation sure but that was fine, Kyoko tried it and even if she fell flat on her but she tried.

Smiling Alizeh would approach the downed girl and hold her hand out. "Heh good try." Alizeh said lightly, waiting for Kyoko to grab her hand before continuing. "Seriously, I honestly care more that you tried than that you did it right." Alizeh would say before helping Kyoko to her feet. "I think you have incredible potential, and I really wanna see you bring it forward." Alizeh said, holding onto Kyoko's hand before pulling her in close enough that their faces were just inches apart. "So when you feel ready... hit me up... I'll be more than eager to see where you're at in an official match." Alizeh said, staring into Kyoko's eyes with intensity as she waited for an answer.
