Harmonia took a good look at Lyra when the two women started tearing into each other. It was obvious that the fortune teller was the more experienced one, no doubt in that. But when Molly hit a devastating combo, sening Lyra down it surprised everyone in the room except...Harmonia.
The Austrian knew Mollys body in and out by now and with how much they trained it had shown effect on Mollys body. Bigger muscles, a better stance. All of that came from their intense training and Harmonias chest wanted to burst with pride as Molly sent Lyra down. "Yes! YES! YES! I saw it, that was awesome, darling! Now keep pushing. You are the stronger one!", she shouted and looked at the clock. So far so good. The first round would be over soon without Molly taking too much.
Or so Harmonia thought. Even if it got better, Molly still could be overeager and when she teared into Lyra, trying to redo her previous attack, Harmonia shook her head. "Molly, no!", she screamed but it was too late. She saw the combo rattling Mollys body and she looked away but when the haymaker sent her down on the mat she grabbed the ropes. "Hey, calm down, this is a spar!", she hissed in Lyras direction and rang the bell.
She could'nt help herself, when she saw Molly being attacked it just sparked all of her protecting instincts. Harmonia jumped into the ring and helped Molly up. They walked into their corner and Harmonia gave her some water, cleaned her mouth guard and came close to her. "Listen you are stronger then her. If you land a few good blows then she will be down. But be patient Molly. It needs some time but be patient. And don't forget, use your fists and your head!", she said and her indexfinger touched the englishwoman between the eyes followed by Harmonias lips.
"You got this. No question. Just remember. Be patient, not head over heel. That had'nt done anything for you in the past. You are not Bunny Molly anymore you are Superstar Molly. Strong, swift, invincible!", Harmonia preptalked her, gave her a kiss and put her mouthguard back into her mouth. Then she rang the bell...

“Well, that’s round one out of the way and I would score that 8-8 which means it’s a tie. Good job, girls!” Jonathan exclaimed as he clapped for both women.
Lyra nodded as she heard the bell and Harmonia spat out her venomous words which made Lyra stand on edge. She truly did get a little bit intensive back there and Molly did pay a heavy price, but still, Molly was the stronger of the two while Lyra was the smarter one in terms of strategy and experience. Lyra huddled back to her corner and put her arms on the ropes as Jonathan checked her over making sure she was alright to continue. He came over to Molly and did the same as both fighters didn’t have any bruises so far, but Molly’s belly was starting to show some purple from the brutal punches. After confirming both could continue, Harmonia rang the bell for the second round.

Re: Fortune Versus Stardom: The Boxing Challenge (for CaptainL and RedShinigami)
Molly was panting for breath, and her head was still spinning as she tried to shake out the cobwebs enough to throw herself back into the match. But when she looked back up at Harmonia, hearing her cheers and seeing the smile on her face, that was all she needed. She broke into a grin - if Harmonia had faith in her, she was confident she'd have what it took, and she was more motivated than ever to show her how much her training had paid off! She took a drink of water and stretched for a moment to limber back up, but it seemed what got her going the most was Harmonia's encouragement. Soon, she straightened herself back to her feet, showing the Austrian an eager nod as she tapped her gloves together. "That's right!~" she chirped. "And I'm gonna show her what a real Superstar can do!"
When Harmonia offered a kiss, Molly was quick to lean in and return it. Then, though, as she popped the guard back in her mouth, the Englishwoman knew it was time to get her head back in the game! She'd taken the last round to a tie, which was encouraging. She had a good start. But she was sure she could do better than that, and this was her chance to prove it! She sank into a stance, awaiting the start of the next round!
When the bell rang, Molly began moving forward, her fists raised and at the ready. She would keep her eyes focused closely on her opponent, strafing from side to side as she watched her for a good opening. Once she saw one, though, she would act more aggressively, pushing into Lyra's defenses and throwing some jabs her way with one fist and then the other. Her performance in the last round had encouraged her to take things a little more risky. Surely she could handle it!

Re: Fortune Versus Stardom: The Boxing Challenge (for CaptainL and RedShinigami)
Lyra mainly kept to herself for the round break looking across from her at Molly gloves on the ropes. Lyra wiped some sweat that her headband didn’t catch and she rolled her neck looking to release some tension out of it. She took her bottle of water and slurped on the opening getting some much-earned aqua down her throat. Lyra heard Jonathan restart the timer and Harmonia ring the bell as it was time to resume war. Lyra came out and offered to touch gloves with Molly to show respect and sportsmanship to her opponent.
Lyra then backed up after touching and saw Molly shift side-to-side throwing out aggressive punches that the fortune teller had to block. Lyra was getting backed up in the ropes fast and she reached out clinching with the bunny. Jonathan ordered a break and Lyra got her guard up as Molly continued the assault getting a nice right jab to her nose. Lyra closed one eye and clinched again to play defensive and buy herself time as Jonathan ordered another break.

Re: Fortune Versus Stardom: The Boxing Challenge (for CaptainL and RedShinigami)
When Lyra came forward to touch her gloves to Molly's, the Englishwoman followed suit, nodding her head - but after that, all bets were off. Her eyes narrowed in focus as she shuffled back toward the ropes, raising her gloves and studying her opponent's moves. She'd made a promising start in how well she had stood up to Lyra thus far, managing to squeak out a tie for the last round, but she was sure she could do better than that. She'd already proven she could box - now, she needed to demonstrate that she could succeed at it, too!
She'd come in aggressively this time around, with each punch she threw forcing Lyra to take a step back. Whether it was because Molly's blows hit, or because she had no choice against the oncoming force, didn't matter - either way, Molly was keeping the pressure on her, and managing to control her motion. Her smile grew wider; the more she thought it through, the more everything seemed to connect in her head. Every second Lyra was forced to defend herself against Molly's punches was a second that she wasn't throwing offense of her own. That could only help her in the long run!
Eventually, though, Lyra managed to grab Molly in the clinch, and with Jonathan calling for the two women to break away, it was time for Molly to take a step back. The moment she did, however, she could feel the fatigue creep into her bones, and her stance slackened as she panted for breath, her arms dangling at her sides - were they always so heavy? It was only once she'd stepped back from the action that she realized how tired she was. She'd focused her energy on throwing that many punches, but she'd ground down her reserves in the process! Molly sucked in a breath and raised her fists to try and keep up her guard in case Lyra came back at her, but she definitely needed some time to regroup, and would Lyra let her have that?

Re: Fortune Versus Stardom: The Boxing Challenge (for CaptainL and RedShinigami)
One of the biggest tips Lyra learned from her coaches is that stamina is a necessity in boxing and using that against her opponent could prove useful. They either get too eager for a knockdown or don’t pace themselves and all Lyra would have to do is guard, bob, and weave around their onslaught until they tuckered themselves out. Molly, being trained in boxing herself, seems to have forgotten the golden rule and it was about to cost her. Lyra saw Molly breathing heavily and her novice knowledge of the sport was starting to show. The fortune teller smirked and ran in.
Depending on how good the guard was, Lyra shot a left hook at Molly’s ribs and tries breaking through the guard with a right uppercut. Lyra backed away to see if Molly would react to her punches. If proven successful, Lyra’s next plan was to get Molly in the corner and then unleash some stomach punches for as long as she was allowed.

Re: Fortune Versus Stardom: The Boxing Challenge (for CaptainL and RedShinigami)
Molly might have been taking to boxing like a natural, but she was still a rookie - and in the long run, that could only work against her. Her energy had served her well, fueling her through a couple of hard-hitting strikes that kept Lyra on the ropes, and locked her down enough to prevent her from striking back. But even for Molly, there was a time when that energy would run out - and it would do so in the most inopportune of times, leaving her panting and gasping, and wide open in front of her opponent!
Lyra saw a golden opportunity, and she wasn't about to turn it down. Molly saw she was closing in on her, and she brought her guard down to deflect Lyra's left hook. But her strength was flagging, and she lagged a bit behind. When she was heaving for breath, she was bound to make a mistake or two - and sure enough, when Lyra swung an uppercut at her again, Molly couldn't defend herself in time. It was enough to turn the Englishwoman's head back in an arc, leaving her crying out in shock as she reeled back with a crack! She took a few stumbling steps backward, staying on her feet - but putting her closer to the corner, where Lyra was able to box her in and throw a few jabs straight to her gut!
With each blow that hammered against her midsection, Molly gasped and gagged, her body bucking up in the air off the momentum of Lyra's strikes. She was beginning to grow numb from the damage, and her eyes squeezed shut as she tried to bear through the pain that erupted with every strike. But eventually, she realized, she was going to have to fight back - sitting there absorbing punches would help no one! With a determined roar, Molly shoved herself forward, attempting to throw herself toward Lyra - and to use that same momentum to propel her fist forward to slam into the fortune teller's stomach in return!

Re: Fortune Versus Stardom: The Boxing Challenge (for CaptainL and RedShinigami)
Lyra propelled fist after fist into Molly’s stomach and thought this could be it for the small bunny boxer. She felt bad about having to bruise her stomach and immediately saw the purple spot starting to form. Just a few more and she could probably have the fight called off or Harmonia would throw in the towel this early. However, Molly wouldn’t take defeat lying down like that and pushed back against Lyra. Molly launched her own strong fist into Lyra’s stomach as Lyra almost lost her mouth guard.
Lyra backed up on staggering legs and closed her left eye trying to absorb the pain. It did get her really bad and she just wanted to drop down to take the count in order to let it simmer. However, Lyra didn’t want to seem weak in front of her opponent for going down on one punch so she sucked her mouth guard back in and stood standing from Molly. They both looked at each other as Molly took more punishment, but dished out just as much in one punch. Who was going to break the ceasefire?

Re: Fortune Versus Stardom: The Boxing Challenge (for CaptainL and RedShinigami)
Molly could feel her gut beginning to grow numb from all the punches Lyra had landed against it. She hissed through her teeth, squeezing one eye shut as she bit down on her mouth guard to try and push through the pain. She'd definitely absorbed more offense than she would have liked - but she wasn't going to let that hold her back! Molly was determined to make a difference, and to prove she was a Superstar. No matter how much it hurt, it was that desire that was pushing her onward - into delivering a fist straight into Lyra's gut!
She could feel her blow land with a thud, and she knew she had hit the fortune teller hard. For a moment, Molly stopped to collect herself, taking in a few breaths while the aches died down. Her shoulders rose and fell as she turned her attention upward to look Lyra over. There, she saw that she wasn't moving - she'd stunned her, and that had interrupted her momentum. Her eyes widening, Molly's heart began to swell with confidence. She knew she could seize on this moment!
She might have grown winded, she might be sore and bruised, but Molly saw an opportunity in front of her, and she wasn't about to pass it up - that gave her confidence! Closing in on Lyra, she swept her fist upward, this time moving to transition into an uppercut to Lyra's jaw! If she could hit hard before, she knew she could do it again!

Re: Fortune Versus Stardom: The Boxing Challenge (for CaptainL and RedShinigami)
Lyra kept herself distanced knowing Molly’s powerful punches could wind her down fast. She truly had learned a lot from her girlfriend and the fortune teller was feeling it flow through her strength. She heard this was the woman that lifted Lauren Fredricks and put her flat out on her back. This tiny blonde girl….did what most lightweights could only dream of. Some people were naturally muscular and strong despite size of the body, but only few wrestlers in this promotion could pull that off it seems.
Molly was coming in hard for an uppercut at Lyra’s chin and she was going out like a light if it hit! However, Lyra shifted to the side in order to dodge it and tried shooting two body jabs for Molly’s ribs. Lyra wiped her mouth and backed up a little bit to try and goad Molly forward. The timer was ticking down and the second round was almost at its end. Lyra needed to wait out time in order to survive.
