Lyra Heartfield vs. Helena DuBois (Apex Qualifying Match)

“Gah! Gah!” Lyra cried out as Helena started kicking her hamstring as she tried to use the other leg to kick straight at Helena’s grip and her face to get the mean girl to let go.

Helena saw the frantic kicking from Lyra and she let go moving to the side. However Helena moved and dropped down, extending her elbow and looking to come crashing down on top of Lyra. If Helena was successful with spiking Lyra with the elbow drop she would also transition to a side headlock and squeeze away at Lyra's head.

[Pegasus]

Lyra grunted as Helena came down quick and hard on her chest as the fortune teller coughed out a little bit. Helena would then seek to cut the oxygen out of Lyra locking in a nice side headlock. The heel squeezed down as much as she could as Lyra gagged a little, but she tries throwing her head back in a Reverse Headbutt motion.

Helena thought she had Lyra right where she wanted her... until the headbutt smashed her in the face! "UGH!" Helena groaned as her head snapped back. She let go of Lyra shoving her a bit while rolling the other way to create distance between them as she tried to blink away the sudden haze! Helena was open and she knew it.... she was going to have to resort to some of her more usual bag of tricks against this woman.

Lyra got up to her feet holding her neck as Helena did wrench down on her hard. She shook her head before getting her fists up and glaring at Helena. Lyra ran forward to shove Helena into the ropes with her shoulder before backing up and lifting up Helena in the air for the Tarot Reading (Pop-Up Powerbomb)!

Helena groaned as she was shouldered into the ropes and in shock as the smaller woman who didn't have much size to her whatsoever just heft her up into the air and sent her crashing painfully to the mat with a hard hitting powerbomb! Helena howled in pain and writhed on the mat. She was down and out looking like she was in horrible shape from the sudden unleashing of a big move out of nowhere.

Lyra hooked both legs as the referee dived down on the mat as she made sure Helena’s shoulders were fully down so she could start the count.

“1!”

The count continued and the jarred Helena was down, letting out a shriek of pain as well as embarrassment as she thrust out after two feeling completely taken by surprise by the move not to mention Lyra pulling it off without warning. Quite a surprise given her size. Helena rolled over still on the mat after kicking out, slow to rise to her feet.

Lyra was hoping for the win right there, but Helena kicked out and the crowd booed at the result. The fortune teller rolled away to a nearby corner using the ropes to bring herself back up on her feet watching as the heel scattered away.

Helena was beyond pissed and hurting as she struggled to get up to her feet. This woman was going to pay. Helena tried to pull herself up using the ropes, and she leaned on them not moving. She was trying to bait Lyra over and when she got close Helena would lash out with a quick kick to the abdomen to try to double over Lyra allowing Helena to move in and spike her head to the mat with a DDT!
