Finding One's Thorns I: Aoi Hoshino vs Rosie Knuckles

Aoi tanked as many punches as she could, dodging the ones toward her head as best as she could manage as she couldn't maneuver much else in her current position. She rose up with Rosie and the two continued to slug it out, the crowd was actually surprised and somewhat impressed that this 'background extra' was able to keep up with Rosie for this long. Aoi spotted the incoming jab, trying to dodge it and moving out of its path. Rosie's fist narrowly clips her side, Aoi letting out a faint hiss before charging in and scooping Rosie up in an attempt at ramming her into the turnbuckles back-first.

Rosie had clipped Aoi in the side, which was more than enough for her with her punishing fists that may well have stopped Hoshino dead if she was nailed completely. Knuckles was then driven into the corner with a sharp groan, scowling angrily. Clubbing blows to Aoi's back followed before Rosie locked her in a clinch, wrapping her arm around her neck and continuing to throw clubs into her back and shoulders.

The referee finally got involved, starting to count a rope break while Rosie kept Aoi held. After three counts, Rosie Knuckles let go of Hoshino slowly, raising her arms up with a cocky smirk on her face, staring at Hoshino with amusement. She was enjoying this brawl so far, clearly having a good time with the impromptu fight she was involved in.

Aoi felt the stinging pain up and down her back, she was reeling from all of that damage but she could tell that Rosie was too. However, contrary to the growing amounts of pain she was feeling all over, she was actually SMILING as a result of it all. She was enjoying herself, she was enjoying being able to let loose like this...and from the few cheers dedicated toward her that came from the audience...she was enjoying the fact that people were FINALLY beginning to take her SERIOUSLY.

She stretched a bit and readjusted herself, motioning at Rosie with her hands, silently telling her to 'bring it on' as she waited for her.

Rolling her neck and adjusting her tube top, Rosie Knuckles was getting ready with their brief break. Then, she would shake out her hands before cracking her knuckles, stepping forward with a smirk on her face. "So let's be really honest with ourselves... We both know why you called me out. It's obvious to me. It might not be obvious to these people... but for me? I've been called out enough times to know where this comes from," said Rosie, narrowing her brow at Aoi.

"Insecurity. You might be able to act confident here, now that you finally got the courage to call out the big, mean fighter out, because sweetheart, I'm a five-foot-five reality check with a hot body and two deadly fists, and if you think you were ready to call me out, you're going to wake up from that double quick," said Knuckles derisively. She would then step forward and pie face Aoi, disrespectfully shoving her by the face.

Aoi could only glare at Rosie, the metallic taste of blood from her lip was invading her mouth as she listened on to the words of her opponent. There was some truth to them, sure, but Aoi refused to let it bother her. She knew why she was here and she knew it wouldn't be easy. She came this far, she wasn't about to back out of it now. When Rosie stepped forward to shove her, Aoi's glare hardened and she began to scowl, dodging backward. If Rosie thought she was going to be that much of a pushover, it'd be HER receiving a reality check as the girl jumped up and tried to hit Rosie with a Flying Cross Armbar, trying to catch her by surprise with this submission.

As Rosie went to shove Aoi in the face, she felt her arm get yanked and a Flying Cross Armbar followed! Knuckles landed on the mat, clutching her other hand briefly before it could be locked in fully, but her grip slipped and it was pulled away into a proper submission. Letting out a loud groan of pain, Rosie's arm was burning as it was stretched. It was about now that Knuckles was cursing that she didn't have the chance to properly prepare for the match. She hadn't stretched, she was in tight jeans that weren't giving her the range she typically wanted, and she had done no research on her opponent. As it stood, she was bound to be sore when this thing was done.

Narrowing her brow, Rosie had to recall her positioning on the mat, cursing quietly as she continued to groan loud, swiveling her body and flailing her free arm until she could see the nearby ropes. Stretching and reaching with her free arm, she tried her best to reach it but needed to get further yet. Gritting her teeth, she sucked in a painful breath and yelled out as she swiveled one more time and threw her foot on the ropes, in a pair of sneakers rather than wrestling boots. Fortunately she got the rope break, but she knew that some damage had been done to her arm, which was anything but ideal.

Aoi continued to wrench her arm along and wear it down for as long as she possibly could. It didn't matter if Rosie wasn't going to tap out, all that mattered was that she was weakened a little further. She liked to punch, right? Well, let's find out what happens when the cute, pink-haired, street-brawling pugilist can't punch as well as before. Not only would her offensive options be limited but, assuming Aoi would be able to further wear her arm down, she'd be screwed out of defensive options too as she wouldn't be able to block and deflect any of her incoming attacks.

However, Rosie managed to get a rope break, forcing Aoi to release her. She rolled off and away from her, allowing Rosie to get back up, but she wouldn't allow her to rest. She'd immediately spring on her with a side kick to the same arm, trying to keep that lingering pain there for as long as possible.

After getting the rope break, Rosie Knuckles closed her eyes tight and grit her teeth, waiting for Aoi to release her arm. When she did, she let out a loud groan of pain, holding onto it with her uninjured arm. "Gaaaaaah... Fuck," muttered Rosie as she began to shake it out. Her arm was in pain now, but it wasn't unmanageable. She's fought through far worse.

As Rosie pulled herself up to her feet by grabbing onto the ropes, she was nailed with a kick straight to that arm, making her yell out sharply. "Damnit!" Rosie Knuckles would then spin and turn her hurt arm away from Hoshino as she rubbed it again. "Ooooh... you're about to be in for a really unfortunate awakening when you realize I only need one arm to beat your ass," taunted Rosie, scowling at Aoi as she stepped towards her and cautiously stepped forward before looking like she was going to go for jab before suddenly rushing forward to try a strong hip strike towards Aoi's midsection!

Aoi smirked, looking at Rosie dead on as she glared, facing her down after successfully harming her with that kick. "Then try it!!!" She said, dashing in to try and meet her halfway, slinging a punch at her head. However, Rosie's pivot and fake-out would throw Aoi off. Aoi's fist just grazes the side of Rosie's cheek and temple. Meanwhile, Rosie's REAL punch comes in, alarming Aoi as she tries to pivot in time to dodge it, but she's too close and it lands flush with her got, knocking some saliva and air out of her as she gasps.

Gritting her teeth, Rosie hit her hip directly into Aoi's midsection with impressive force. With a scowl, she grabbed onto Hoshino's hair after when she was gasping for air. "Maybe learn how to actually be in a fight first before you challenge me," said Rosie in a dark tone.

Then, Rosie would leap up into the air, pulling Aoi's head with her, and then she would attempt to slam Hoshino's face onto her knee as she landed with a Facebreaker Knee Smash, wanting to bash that pretty little face of her opponent now.
