Steel Jungle (Saori vs. Blair)

Just... a bit... more! It was hell to endure, but every twitch and yank Saori made was forcing Blair to loosen her grip. "RAAAAGH!" She forced out a few more good tugs and yanks with her arm, eyes going wide from the pain her joint endured. And the hold was slowly getting easier and easier to fight against as she felt each of Blair's fingers start to slip. But the woman was stubborn. Every tiny slip felt like a rope slowly about to snap loose.

And the second that rope snapped and Blair finally released Saori she rolled forward, clutching her arm as she hissed out in pain through gritted teeth. Her eyes locked onto Blair's, narrowing as they met before she saw the kick coming. "Gh!" Blair moved fast to get one more bit of a offense in before Saori could fully stand. She soon pushed herself to her feet afterwards, immediately snarling at her opponent. "I'm not done yet!" She snapped, pushing forward and shooting her leg forward for a kick of a own to Blair's midsection. Her arm was shot a the moment, but she still had enough strength in her legs to do plenty of damage.

Blair knew it was inevitable. No matter how much faith she had in her grip strength, and no matter how hard she was trying to hold on, nothing would change the fact that she simply wasn't a grappler. Sooner or later, her hold had to go. But she would just have to make up for that by making sure that as long as she had the hold in, it was going to cause her opponent as much grief as possible! Even if Saori got away, Blair wanted to ensure that her arm would still bear the aches and pains of the pressure it was under. And the moment she let go, Blar would attempt to catch her off-guard with a well-placed kick aimed right at her side!

The blow landed with a thwack, but Blair knew she wasn't done yet. It would doubtlessly only be a matter of time before Saori would strike back. She rolled aside, attempting to get her feet beneath her to pick herself back up - but what Blair hadn't counted on was that even if Saori's arms were going to be left in no shape to carry on, she still had her legs, and she could hit just as hard with them! Right as the Canadian girl got her center of balance, Saori quickly lashed out with a kick right into her gut!

With a groan, Blair doubled over forward, the force of the blow knocking the air out of her lungs. One arm went low to clutch at her stomach in order to shield herself while she staggered back against the ropes, still leaning over at the waist. Her midsection felt like it was on fire, and her ribs moved in and out with heaving breaths; she cursed herself for making such an obvious mistake when the two of them had met over sharing a discipline that favored the use of all limbs. She couldn't let that happen again. She raised her head to focus a glare on Saori, where in between pants her eyelid twitched warily. For now, she was going to keep her distance while she caught her breath. But she would need to remain on guard...
