Chiaki Nanami vs Sylvia Steiner: Apex Qualifier

Chiaki managed to throw her head back into Sylvia and escape the chokehold, but that wasn't what Chiaki was worried about right now. She was noticing a pattern start to form in this match. Sylvia's team would use the power of numbers and distraction to overwhelm the ref, then they would be free to attack Chiaki, and give Sylvia easy damage. Then Chiaki would struggle through it to take the advantage, but then the Golden Girls would step in again. It was a loop that Chiaki just couldn't sustain. Something had to be done about Sylvia's goons.

But Chiaki had an idea. She came off as a bit of an airhead at times, especially when she wasn't focusing too hard and letting her mind wander. But anyone who'd known the gamer long enough to see her get serious would know that she was far more cunning than she let on. She just didn't care to use that side of her abilities too often. But now was the time to do it.

Chiaki knew that the crowd was nearly if not entirely on her side, and that she had plenty of fans in the crowd who came specifically for her. She also knew how some of her more devoted fans could get. That was her ticket. If Sylvia wanted to bring a team, fine. Then Chiaki would unleash an army in return. While Sylvia was reeling, Chiaki grabbed a mic.

"Think about what you're seeing," Chiaki called to the audience. "I'm giving my all, but this is a 4 on 1. I can only do so much, and the ref can only do so much to keep Sylvia's team at bay. Please, I need some help!" Chiaki pleaded to the audience. "Don't get in the ring or interfere with me and Sylvia. Just keep her goons off me so I can win a fair match. It'd really mean a lot to me if I could get some help from you guys," Chiaki knew she was taking a risk. A wrestler as popular as herself actively inviting audience members to step in could backfire horribly if the wrong couple of nut jobs decided to turn up. But being in a practical 4v1 meant Chiaki had no choice but to take risks if she was going to tilt the odds back in her favor.

Sylvia saw the whole world as some sort of big restaurant with an all you can eat buffet that would never stop. Everyone of those bugs where the waiters and waitressess, ready to read every wish of her lip as they served her more and more of those incredible tasty treats she deserved out of one reason: She was rich. Not just rich, she was filthy rich, thanks to her father being a successful businessman. Of course he always had been destined to success. Sylvia knew that you were born as special person but sometimes you started out like the cockroaches that surrounded them.

Her father came from a modest household, not terribly rich but not middleclass, it was just enough to count as a human being. He had worked his way up, using his superior wits and genius to create a certain energy drink that the whole world started to become crazy for and finally fullfilled his destiny. And Sylvia was his offspring which meant that she was one of the favoured beings in this world. Everyone had to serve her. Everyone!

And then this little insect had the BALLS to fight back against her as if she could ever think of winning this match. The silverhaired beauty screamed and fell back, holding her face while stomping with her feet. "Fuck, you hit me ! You fucking hit me you cheating whore!", she screamed but Sylvia had to find out soon that her tricks did'nt really impress the ref anymore who looked over to Chiaki and the Golden Girls and suddenly waved her arms. She could'nt allow any interference of a crowd that already hated Sylvia Steiner by heart.

"Timeout!", she screamed and then walked over to the Golden Girls. "You three get the hell out of here. NOW!", she ordered and then looked back to Sylvia. "Miss Steiner if you are not able to continue I will stop this now...", she said and like a miracle the Million Dollar Girl jumped to her feet and walked over to the referee. "What do you mean you get them out of here! They have all the right to be here!", she said and jabbed her finger into the collarbone of the striped girl.
"Yes, as long as they are not the reason for a public outrage! May I remember you that this is a one on one fight. You don't need them here, they are just entourage. So I can send them back, it is my right." "You little vermin you..." Sylvia tried to grab the ref but she knew if she attacked this...animal, then all of her efforts would be in vain. She already had lost humiliatingly against her rival Kama, she could'nt afford another loss in such close time. What did she had to lose. That fucking little gamer girl was a loser, her limited abilities would be enough to take care of her.

"Alright...", she spat out and the crowd cheered and sang songs of goodbyes as the Golden Girls left the arena. "That of course means no payday!", she shouted and one of the girls stopped, clutched her fists and if her fellow servants had'nt stopped her she would have jumped back into the ring, punching her "Master " right into the face. "Now, easy Candy, you know your Mommy needs her treatment every day...would be a shame if she missed out if you could'nt afford it..."
Now Chiaki and Sylvia were on there own and while everything had been prepared to go on, Sylvia had grabbed something that had been hidden by her girls under the top turnbuckle. She placed it in her hand so no one could see it and then she nodded. "Alright, come on. I thought this was a wrestling match!", she said and the crowd and screamed at her. "Oh shut up you rats!"

Chiaki's plan worked just about as well as she could've hoped. The referee had managed to quell the crowd well enough, and she did so by putting her foot down and finally ejecting the Golden Girls from the arena. Chiaki would get a much more manageable 1v1 as opposed to a 4v1, while also not becoming responsible for inciting a fan riot to accomplish it.

As one would expect, Sylvia was absolutely livid. Coming about as close as she could to attacking the ref without actually doing it. It seemed that even Sylvia Steiner knew that their were limits to what she could try to get away with. But then she proceeded to take five steps backwards against the one step of progress when she taunted one of her entourage with her mother's financial dependency on Sylvia.

It was rare, exceedingly rare for Chiaki to grow to actually hate someone. But Sylvia had just formally entered the ranks of those chosen few. Though being such a kind person, Chiaki didn't express hate like most. She was a lot more subtle and pragmatic with the emotion that frequently overwhelmed others. She'd start with something that she knew would get under Sylvia's skin, and might even turn up something helpful. "Hey hey, ref," she said. "Before we restart, can you check Sylvia? I don't trust that she hasn't tried to hide or sneak something in the commotion like she did with the metal rod earlier."

Sylvia clutched the little weapon tight in her fist as this stupid little bitch spoke out the obvious. She hissed and shook her head. "You already checked us. This is just stupid!", she said and stomped her golden sandaled foot on the ground. If that bitch checked and took away the weapon then there was a good chance that this stupid gaming roach could win this match. Sylvia would'nt ever call it that, but without cheating she was pretty lost in this world of professional wrestling. It had been enough for the indies and against lesser experienced opponents. Not that Chiaki seemed like a professional veteran, not at all, but she had proven that she had talent and if someone had talent he might could be a nuisance to her. And nuisances had to be squashed like the bugs they were. Sylvia had to think on the spot. As she was wearing only a bikini top, shorts and sandals there was no way she could hide...

And then it came to her. "Alright..., please go along.", she said and crossed her hands behind her head and with carefull movements managed to stick her weapon of choice into her hair where it dissapeared in her locks she always put high up when fighting...
She stretched out her arms and waited for the ref to check on her. Of course she did'nt find anything, there was nothing to be seen in each hand, not in her shorts or in her bra. Sylvia gave Chiaki an angelic smile. "Alright...can we go on now? Time is money.", she said and pointed on one of the dollarsigns on her top.

The bell rang and both women got into position, circling each other before Sylvia shot forward going for a grapple with Chiaki, both women now in the middle of the ring, fighting for position. "You will pay, oh yes you will you little slut.", she hissed into Chiakis face as they were close to each other.

Somewhat to Chiaki's surprise, the ref's search of Sylvia turned up empty. The gamer girl doubted that her opponent would pass up the opportunity if it was available, so maybe she had finally run out of tricks to pull with the dismissal of her Golden Girls. After all, in addition to the help the could provide via action, they were also useful to their boss as intermediates to carry things like weapons so she wouldn't get caught out with them.

Feeling a bit safer, Chiaki moved in to continue the fight. When Sylvia called her a slut, the gamer chose to play the contrarian. The spoiled brat of an opponent she was facing was very easy to rile. Chiaki was a hardened veteran of the Xbox Live Chat trenches, Sylvia would be nothing. "Sorry, but I've never maxed a Social Link quite like that before," Chiaki said. Uncaring of whether or not Sylvia understood the Persona reference, as it was just setting up the real one liner. "Though on the other hand, I'd be willing to bet you're E for Everyone Sylvia."

Willing to gamble that Sylvia would promptly go for an angry, reckless attack in response to Chiaki's words, the pinkette would disengage preemptively in an attempt to dodge. If Chiaki could bait Sylvia into swinging at air, she would then go back in with a right cross to the cheek. Chiaki normally refrained from punches, as hers were quite weak. But she had a read on Sylvia that the rich girl getting hit in her face would serve to piss her off even more than she already was.

Sylvia almost feared that the little rat has seen sticking the small metal rod in her hair but no, neither she, the ref or the crowd were any wiser now.

Chuckling she went on with the match, grappling with Chiaki who was as strong as her maybe even a bit weaker. Could it be that Sylvia would just need her own strength to overcome the bug?

She listend to Chiakis words and shook her head. "Whats wrong, having a stroke?", she quipped before Chiaki aaid something even she understood and clenched her teeth. "Why you little...",she snarled and tried to punch that stupid bratty face of the Gamer Girl before swinging into the emptiness only to be greeteed wit a punch into her right cheek.

Nothing sepctacular but it sent the Heel reeling. "Augh! Goddammit, not the face you stinking tramp!", she hissed as she clutched her cheek way to overdramatically and then swung out at Chiaki herself trying to chop her over the chest.

Chiaki was out of Sylvia's range almost before she had even started throwing her wild, angry punch. Which meant that Chiaki had plenty of time to land her counter punch and she did so successfully. And at least if Sylvia's reaction to being struck in the face was anything to go by, the gamer girl had been correct in assuming that her punch succeeded in enraging the California girl even further.

Not being one to learn from her own mistakes, Sylvia would continue to let her emotions blind her. She pulled back her arm for a big wind up and swung at Chiaki with a chop attack that was taking a big, wide arc around towards the streams chest. With such a wind up and attack motion, Sylvia's attack proved to be incredibly slow, thus reacted to easily for Chiaki.

In gaming terms, Chiaki countering Sylvia's punch was a whiff punish. Waiting for an attack to miss entirely before striking back. This counter would be different. Here Chiaki would punish Sylvia for trying to attack when she was minus, meaning she was a step or two slower than Chiaki right now and that it wasn't her turn to attack according to the flow of the fight.

Because Sylvia was trying to make a slow attack out of turn, Chiaki didn't need to wait for the chop to miss and then go back in. The gamer girl would simply attack herself, stuffing Sylvia's chop with a quick kick into her stomach. Chiaki would follow up from there by closing in, grabbing Sylvia around the back of her head, and pulling the rich girl in so the gamer could headbutt her in the face. And not that Chiaki had any idea about it, but she also might find the surprise Sylvia had for her early if it wasn't secured well enough.

Sylvia grunted. This little bug started to annoy the hell out of her! What was she even thinking, trying to show defiance! The silverhairer californian already hated Chiakis guts and getting punched into her beautiful face by this vermin did'nt made things better. She took a step back, her breasts, held in the tight bra, jiggled up and down, and held her cheek before lashing out at Chiaki with her own stiff chop to the chest only to be to slow and get a kick into her toned stomach.
"Ghooofff..."

The Million Dollar Girl held her hurting midsection and looked into Chiakis eyes with a glare of hate. She clenched her teeth and tried to escape the following move and when the pinkette grabbed her hair for a headbutt, her last resort, a little steelbar, dropped down and rolled out of the ring. She was'nt sure if anyone saw it but this was her least problem now as the gamer girl followed through and headbutted the heel right into her face!

"Gakh!", she screamed as stars exploded before her eyes. She tumbled a bit and fell right into the waiting grip of her opponent. Fuck, she thought, how could she dare. How could she even think of going for her face again, but the face was a good startingpoint as Sylvia reached up and gave Chiaki a painful eyerake!

The kick that Chiaki threw out to stuff Sylvia's attack did its job, and the headbutt that she followed it up with hit its mark as well. After connecting, Chiaki thought she caught something out of the corner of her eye, but saw nothing when she shot a quick glance to look for it. Normally Chiaki would be suspicious, but with the Golden Girls gone, anything not in the ring was useless to Sylvia now.

Sylvia stumbled back towards Chiaki after the headbutt, and once more tried to go on the offensive. This attack was quicker, and less expected than the last two, so Chiaki's defense would be put to a tougher test this time. Sylvia grabbed her shoulder with one hand to pull Chiaki in and hold her in place, while the Cali girl's other hand formed into claw aimed at the gamer girl's face. Made sharp by Sylvia's fake nails.

Chiaki's own arms were too far away to intercept or deflect Sylvia's attack, so the pinkette had to use her head, literally. Chiaki swiftly lowered her head and thrust it forward into Sylvia's wrist to stop the attack, leaving her unable to even scrape the streamer's scalp with her fingertips. Now ready to counterattack once more, Chiaki grabbed the arm that she had blocked with both hands, then turned around and threw back her hip into Sylvia's own as she pulled the rich girl over the top. If Chiaki's attack worked, she'd slam Sylvia onto her back with a judo hip toss.

Chiaki had a lot of options from here. She was still holding Sylvia's arm, so submission hold on it was a likely candidate. But Chiaki, spurred on by her anger against Sylvia, would opt for something meant to break her opponent's spirit more than her body. Chiaki would lift her leg up, and step down with her foot onto Sylvia's face. And Chiaki knew by now what kind of fighter Sylvia was. Her toe was getting bitten if she didn't do something to preempt it. So Chiaki would tightly curl her toes around Sylvia's lips to try to grip them, with the intent being to hold her opponent's mouth shut so she couldn't counter with a bite.

Sylvia grunted as she was thrown with the hiptoss rather easily. "Kch-" The Million Dollar Girl took the bump and what was worse, this insolent, little creature still held on to her arm. "Let go you damn ant, you miserable little roach, youmfffff..."

The crowd laughed, Sylvia blushed in embarressment and Chiaki looked down at her with a smug grin. That little bitch had dared to press her foot in her face. Since she had her debut against her rival Kama, which she lost too, she found herself in the positions SHE wanted to have her opponents in. How could they even dare? Disgusting as it was, Sylvia was ready to bite Chiakis toes but the Gamer Girl was a careful one, strategic thinking definetly one of her advantages.

And the crowd loved her for it. But then again, of course they did, Sylvia Steiner not only had told them several times what she's thought about them, she had gave them fake money and laughed about their dissapointment. The crowd hated her as much as she hated them, as she hated Chiaki.

There had to be a way out of this or she was lost. Her arm that had flailed around on the mat found a way to turn things as she looked over to the side of the ring. She managed to get her heas out enough so she could produce a muffled order. "Yef, Candy, helpf me our you will be fiwed! !", she shouted and the referee turned her back. Then Sylvia struck, balling her hand into a fist and slamming it between Chiakis legs with all thr strength she could muster. If it worked, she would drop the hand and whimper, acting like she never acted before as she flailed on the ground like a fish on land.
