Dana Ashford vs. Karina Rine - Clash of Behemoths

Having released Karina from her hold, Dana stepped away from her as she would let the younger woman pick herself up. Still displaying her signature smile, she would wait for Karina to rise back up onto her feet so that she could proceed with her next move, in which she would break into a sprint, holding out her arm as she would come over to her as if attempting to hit her with a clothesline.

But as she got closer, Dana would retract her arm at the last second as she would run past Karina, moving towards the ropes and rebounding from there, moving back towards her opponent. She was planning to run her over with a shoulder block from behind, hoping to send her chest first onto the mat after ramming her shoulder into her back, hoping that it would deal more damage on her.

Karina knew that in order to turn things around, she had to be a little less predictable and a whole lot less defensive. The last part was a bit easier said than done, knowing that after the series of mishaps she had gotten thanks to Dana's expert attacks, she now needed a quick breather just to refocus. Off course the woman wasn't just going to let Karina recover. She came in close, a charge that Karina was all too familiar with and went low, getting ready to catch the clotheslining woman with a spear.

However the clothesline did not happen, with the woman running past her instead and would aim to strike at Karina's back as she came bouncing back against the ropes. Karina knew she couldn't turn to face the woman for a counter or to catch her in a bear hug and avoiding wasn't going to happen either.. So she just had to do something she hoped her opponent didn't expect. She aimed to stop herself down low! She wanted to use the woman's momentum against her and make her trip over the hands and knees crouched Karina!

Dana was planning a little gambit where she moved past Karina, faking out a clothesline before she rebounded from the ropes, returning back to where Karina was. From there, she would try to hit her with a shoulder block to her back. But the younger woman suddenly dropped down into a crouched position, and Dana's eyes widened as she lost her target, and with Karina's body being lowered like that, Dana would be in danger of being tripped down, and tripped down she ended up being!

Still, Dana wasn't going to let herself be knocked down that easily. She might be big, but one couldn't get far in this business by being unathletic. The moment she was tripped down, Dana tried to make use most of her momentum to perform a forward roll, preventing herself from landing face first on the mat. At the very least, while her body hit the mat, she would still be able to maintain her momentum without being knocked down. After rolling forward, Dana would end up on her knees, and with a grunt, she would try to push herself back up on her feet.

Perhaps a more turtle like kind of instinct that managed to prevent Karina from being brought down in a savage way, instead she made the best of what she could think of, which was enough to deter Dana from smashing into her, forcing the woman to lose balance and fall forward as she tripped over Karina's body, to which Karina would quickly turn her head to face Dana, both to make sure the woman fell and if she had enough time for a counter attack.

The woman did go down.. But it was not enough to actually keep her down as the woman rolled forward and soon enough used that opportunity to roll herself right onto her knees and on her way to her feet! Karina couldn't let her just freely get away with that and she was quickly to head straight towards Dana, narrowing her eyes as a short charge came from Karina, who went in fast and low to go for an attack she early thought would come from Dana.. She aimed to spear herself right into the rising Dana!

Dana had been in this business for many years now, and one couldn't prosper in professional wrestling by being unathletic. By doing a forward roll, Dana prevented herself from face-planting on the mat as she ended up on her knees before she popped herself back up onto her feet. But by doing so, she had put herself in a position where she couldn't defend herself, and Karina took this opportunity to launch her attack.

And launch her attack Karina did as she went for a spear from behind, when Dana was in the midst of rising back up onto her feet. Dana cried out as she suddenly felt the impact of Karina tackling into her before she was sent down onto the mat. "UGHHH!!" She hit the mat with a grunt. This left her in a state of daze, where she would not be able to defend herself from whatever Karina would do next.

Coming right into Dana with the very intent to bring the woman down to the floor the hard way, she soon smashed right into Dana's stomach, sending her right back down and with Karina on top of her! Her lips curled into a grin, finally getting time to dominate Dana now and she knew just what she wanted to do! She didn't go for a smother this time, instead she would rise up enough to grab onto Dana's shoulder and to forcefully roll her onto her stomach, just to straddle the woman's lower back right after.

She would aim to collect Dana's arms, wanting to bring them over her thick thighs before she would reach down with both hands to grasp Dana's chin, making it more than evident that she wanted a little pay back and what better way to recover and to hurt her opponent at the same time than using a camel clutch, the same kind of hold Dana used to humiliate Karina, she now aimed to use as proper payback!

Dana grunted as she felt Karina put herself on her back. Still trying to recover, Dana was unable to stop Karina from grabbing her arms and draping them over her knees. Then, Karina went to put her into a camel clutch, just like what she did earlier. When Karina started yanking back, Dana let out a cry of pain.

Dana closed her eyes tightly as she tried to endure the pain from the hold. For now, she tried to focus on outlasting the hold, steeling her resolve so that her opponent would tire herself out while subjecting her to the camel clutch. Dana considered herself resilient enough to endure this, though she also knew that her endurance wasn't limitless.

Karina had a few options to use in this camel clutch, though for the time being she was content with pulling back, to test out Dana's flexibility and the endurance of that spine as the woman cried out rather quickly, which was a good sign for Karina, who was aiming to find out just how much she could bend the woman to her demise. She gave one more good crank before easing Dana in, letting her relax for but a moment before she brought one hand from Dana's chin..
