Tara Kwan vs. Raquel Masters (Apex Qualifier Match)

Raquel was about to sit up when the baseball slide collided with her! This was a bad spit for the contact as the off balance Raquel stumbled and rolled going right underneath the ropes for a hard landing on the outside of the ring!

Raquel groaned and kicked the ground in pain. She had to do something but she was hurting bad. Raquel reached up to grab the apron using it to help pull herself up to her feet as Tara was beating her at her own game!

Tara was in two minds about taking things to the outside for long. She wasn't of a brutal variety who could truly make use of the fight being taken to the mats, with barricades and obstacles abound. Then again, she didn't imagine it would be hard to make do.

For the moment, she'd rely on her wits over ingenuity at putting the outside of the ring to good use, as she purposefully fell to a knee. Playing possum with her hands to her back, Tara hoped that Raquel would see this as her earlier slam acting up on Tara's back. Which in turn, would lead her to not only climb the apron, but ideally the ropes themselves as to get back into the ring.

Which is where Tara would make her play!

As she looked to kick off her feet and cut the distance; not directly to Raquel but a metre or so to her side. Sprinting seemingly for an open space, it would be when she closed in that her goal became apparent. She wasn't intending to run into the ropes - but mostly through them.

As she reared up her legs with her hands catching the middle and top rope. To bring both feet around and into Raquel's spine and side, in a 619 kick!

Unfortunately for Raquel she played right in to the trap. The lightweight speedster again was being hammered by something she herself likely to do. She struggled up to the apron and before she could react Tara sprang to life and surged forward pulling off the 619nkick and crushing the face of Raquel sending her crumpling tongue apron in a heap. A dazed, weak Raquel reached for the ropes and failed, flopping from the apron down for a hard fall to the ground below.

Tara was moving with such quickness and fatigue that many watching were confused as to whether this was the same girl they'd seen wrestle prior. The same pinkette who spent her matches oogling and groping her opponents - not moving with the finesse of a veteran luchadore!

Holding tight upon the ropes as she swung in, Tara was quick to make sure she herself wouldn't be sent tumbling to the grounds with Raquel. Effectively bouncing off of her foes spine, Tara would look to land upon her feet if still on the ring apron. To then turn her head, to a completely prone opponent!

With little time left for theatrics, Tara didn't even fire off a warning shot before kicking off her feet once more. With the distance between herself and Raquel comparable to that of Tara being on the top ropes against a in-ring prone foe, Tara didn't think twice about attempting what she did.

That being a double foot stomp, as the Korean tucked her feet in as she kicked into the air. Before extending them - to damn near crush Raquel's torso as she came back down!

Raquel knows she is trouble, knowing that she is going to be buried by Tara if she keeps getting hammered. Raquel groans as Tara pushes off and sees out of the corner of her eye a flying Tara. Raquel isn't sure what she is attempting to do but she only knows she doesn't want to be in the spot she is currently in! Raquel howls as she exerts herself, forcing her aching body to roll hard to the side to avoid being smashed by the double foot stomp!

Tara's move was as simple as could be, but it would have been brutally effective.

Had it hit.

With a simple move came a simple counter, as rather than opt for the dramatic Raquel simply rolled out of the way. Leaving Tara with a hard landing - onto nothing but a thin mat!

Tara's feet naturally lead the charge, but it wasn't simply a case of the Korean landing on her feet. Unprepared for a sudden mat-bound landing, Tara was left reeling into a roll - one that left her laying flat to her back, rubbing her aching feet!

With a groan of anguish on top of it all!

Raquel was hurting herself but she knows she needs to strike back, and in a big way. Tara will expect strikes so Raquel decides to show off something else in toned, defined body can do better than most lightweights: Power. Raquel gets to her feet feeling all the aches of her body. Raquel tries to stagger to Tara and pull her up, wrapping an arm around her head while grabbing her around one leg. Raquel is attempting to position herself to lift Tara up for a release fisherman suplex!

Already halfway back up albeit with a wobbly stance to her, given her failed attempt to stomp Raquel's guts out, Tara's wobbly positioning was taken advantage of and then some. With Raquel seizing the day, the Korean could do next to nothing as her small foe heaved her up and over, damn near forcing what curves Tara had to jiggle before the nearby oogling members of the front row!

Landing hard upon the thin mats, Tara tried as she could to near instantly rise only to fall flat yet again. With pain setting in on her torso and upper back, it was Raquel who would be once more given free reign in this encounter, as the referees calls for a count out began to near the halfway point!

Raquel was still outside with Tara and as much as she loved her strikes to take full advantage of the environment for the limited time she still had it was time to show off some of her surprise strength. This was a match that Raquel didn't just want to win, she had to win. She was going to kick off the Apex event on a high note ready to climb that ranking ladder again! The lean lightweight pulled Tara up by the arm and twist her torso looking to send Tara running into the steel ring steps with all the force she could muster!

Tara was reeling from the slam, and Raquel seemed out for blood. Forced to her feet yet again, the direction Raquel was pacing herself to be in told Tara peril was coming her way. Never mind the fact she was soon pulled with undeniable force upon her arm!

Though with this peril at hand, Tara had a chance before her for something spectacular. Albeit risky!

Pulled with all the strength Raquel could muster, Tara was sent towards the steps albeit perhaps to her foes shock, she did so willingly!

For Tara would look to control her own momentum, willingly pacing into the ropes before extending her right leg. As to have it atop of the step, as she then effectively looked to jump off said steps and back!

With the momentum now used to great benefit, as Tara looked to practically spring back at her foe with her body flipping and twisting. For a abrupt whisper-in-the-wind, that would leave both legs coming down on Raquel's upper body like an axe!
