Hana Choi [D] vs. Hana Tanaka

Being swung around in circles was enough to leave Choi's head spinning, and that was before she'd even been hurled at top speeds into the turnbuckles. Now that she had made impact, a loud clang rang through the arena before the pink-haired girl sank into the corner in a heap. She panted and groaned, her chest moving in and out with each labored breath she took, and her head dangling over her shoulder. Hana Choi was going to need more time to collect herself before she was ready to get back into the game...and that was time that Tanaka wasn't going to allow her!

If Choi was better able to focus, she would see this as a perfect opportunity to get out of the way and turn her opponent's momentum against her, leaving her to slam into the post. But where she was now, that was hopeless. And when Tanaka came rushing at her, she didn't know what was coming, up until she felt her boots slam into her stomach! With a cough, the air was knocked out of Choi's lungs. She slumped over, bent over at the waist as she deflated against the mat.

Tanaka knew that now was her moment and as she barrelled through the air she crashed into Choi feet first. The greenette rolled off feeling somewhat disoriented herself from the impact before she realised her opportunity. Moving in for the pin Tanaka lifted Choi's leg up as the ref counted. "One!"

"Two!"

With Hana Choi seemingly down, her green-haired opponent was quick to see an opportunity she could close in on. She hooked the newcomer by the leg, holding it in the air and bringing her shoulders down against the mat. With each slap of the referee's hand against the canvas, Tanaka's fans were getting worked up more and more. It looked as though their hero was about to take home the glory - and, as the referee lifted a hand a third time, everyone sat on the edge of their seat, waiting for the moment the match would be hers!

But suddenly, Choi stirred back to her senses. She kicked her leg free of the pin, causing the ref to take a step back. A second later, the pink-haired girl rolled back further, balancing her weight on her shoulders - and kicking out forward with her legs to try and land a blow with the soles of both feet against Tanaka's chest! Even without getting back on her feet, Choi was ready to fight back!

Tanaka smiled a little as it seemed she was about to win another match. However in an instant Choi kicked out and before Tanaka could react she took 2 kicks to the chest, sending the greenette tumbling away.

Just before the three-count landed, Hana Choi sprung her attack. She moved so quickly that no one could tell if she had truly collected herself right at the perfect moment, or if she had done so earlier but was stalling her comeback in the name of annoying her foe - and as far as Choi was concerned, that confusion worked all the better for her purposes. Not only did she manage to free herself of the pin, however, she also managed to attack with the same motion, kicking out from her back and knocking Tanaka backward!

From there, the pink-haired girl rolled forward, kipping up to her feet and dusting herself off. She took a few stretches to warm herself up in preparation for the next round, facing Tanaka with a grin. "Hey, not bad," she said, "but...nnnnot quite good enough!" She winked at Tanaka and stuck out her tongue to further cement the taunt, but then, Choi got into a stance, moving in a little closer to her foe.

Once she was just within striking distance, however, the Korean kept her distance. She kept her eyes locked on Tanaka, strafing back and forth around her and occasionally reversing directions to trip her foe up. But she never actually closed the gap, or made a move on her. It was all part of her strategy - she wanted to keep Tanaka guessing, and to see how long her patience could last out! Hopefully, by the time the green-haired girl made a move, Choi would be in a perfect position to counter!

Tanaka felt a little embarrassed as Choi taunted her before the greenette stood up and threw a punch in the Korean's direction before she just barely missed. Despite being even in speed the two Hana's weren't even in predictability.

Tanaka watched Choi's movements in confusion, the shy-gal found it difficult to take advantage of her speed but instead attempted to take advantage of her edge in height. Tanaka swung her leg around in various ways hoping her leg would be long enough to catch Choi, all while her fans wolf-whistled

With both girls back on her feet and strafing around each other, the match had entered a tense and even standoff. Choi was waiting on Tanaka to make her move, readying herself for how she would be able to turn that against her foe. The green-haired girl struck out with a punch, but Choi hopped to the side, just out of range. She was ready to ride this out, dodging and weaving around every blow Tanaka threw at her until the right moment presented itself.

As she saw Tanaka's leg closing in on her, once again Choi hopped to the side, this time coming back the other direction. She bent low as a higher kick was aimed, and when the next one came she rolled underneath it to get to the other side. A smirk came to Choi's face as she figured out exactly what was going on. In aimlessly throwing her leg back and forth, Tanaka was wasting her energy in the way an accurate and well-placed kick wouldn't, and she was making it far too predictable for her foe to dodge by only using one limb. All Choi needed to do was wait for the right moment - and soon, that presented itself, as she managed to grab at Tanaka's leg at the right moment to catch it in midair. If that worked, Choi would throw herself over to the side, looking to bowl her opponent to the mat with a Dragon Screw!

It seemed that even Tanaka's edge in height and attempt to catch Choi by surprise had failed as the Korean girl still managed to evade Tanaka's attack as she grabbed onto green Hana's leg and slammed her into the canvas with a dragon screw.

Tanaka felt like she had things under control. If she kept pressing her height and weight advantage, sooner or later she'd be able to catch up to her opponent, and Choi wouldn't be able to bounce back from her attacks. But that just meant, for the pink-haired girl, she would need to concentrate on evading Tanaka's strikes, staying one step ahead of her so that she could counter when it counted. Any momentum Tanaka had to throw at her could just as easily be turned around to bite her in the ass - and that was exactly how Choi liked to do things.

Swinging her weight over to the side, Hana Choi managed to sweep her opponent off her feet, taking both of them to the mat. As they landed with a thud, she looked up, smirking teasingly in her opponent's direction. "You missed," she said, pointing out what everyone already knew - but she hoped that fact would make things even more frustrating for her foe. For now, now that she had Tanaka's leg caught, Choi would roll over onto her side, pulling the limb closer and throwing her legs around Tanaka's thigh to transition into a kneebar, and stretch out her joint!

Green Hana grunted in pain, while the shy-gal was ultimately unbothered by Choi's comment she was a little annoyed at having been so close to victory a few moments ago. Tanaka tried pulling her leg away as Choi stretched it out and caused discomfort.
