Valerie was more shocked than anything when her move not only worked, but worked well, allowing her to bring the bigger woman to the floor. There was a brief moment of dissociation, where she tried to properly process the gravity of the situation, before reflexes kicked in - she couldn't dawdle, couldn't wait, she needed to fill that gap.

She moved in from behind Alaina, reached over, and wrapped her arm around the woman’s skull with a side headlock, clamping tight and exerting maximum pressure. It was more to keep control of Alaina than do any real damage, but control was what she needed most at the moment, holding her tight as she rose to her feet and pulled her up.

”How’s this? Good?” She wrenched the hold down, making sure her grip was secure.

Alaina groaned and shook her head as she reached up to grab at Valerie's grip before letting go. She had an idea to try to counter this instead of just powering her way out. She reached an arm around Valerie's back and used her other to push up while trying to work the two of them up to her feet. She was breathing heavily while stuck in the hold but once she was up her other arm would reach over and grab a leg of Valerie. Alaina was going to try to suddenly lift her up and high before falling back to send her to the mat with a backdrop unless Valerie let go or otherwise escaped from Alaina's planned counter!

Valerie figured she had everything she needed to set up for her next move—a bulldog—something simple and effective, an excellent way to even put down a powerhouse like Alaina. She was just about to run forward for it, too, when things weren’t wildly out of hand.

”What-” Valerie suddenly found herself going airborne, as Alaina lifted her off the ground with frightening ease, showing the strength that had made her a legend. All she could do was brace for impact as she came down hard on her upper back, coming down for a hard crash. She rolled off and flopped off to her chest, where she laid, seething at the pain.

Alaina took Valerie down and wanted to slow things up a bit. She still wanted to keep up her momentum though as the spar got more intense. Alaina jumped up and extended her legs looking to come crashing down with a big leg drop with her big power thighs on top of Valerie! However after impact if successful Alaina would clamp her legs around Valerie's head and squeeze away while keep things still. The headscissor would slow the pace a bit and Valerie had time to think of an escape, that is if she was able to.

Valerie was accustomed to being the strongest woman in the ring. She had worked hard to acquire a body that would be beyond most women in the middleweight class, and it had served her well so far. But coming against Alaina, she was starting to realize just how far she had to go and what mountains there were to climb. The Amazon was on an entirely different level.

She was still reeling from the crash when Alaina leaped up and came down on her hard, dropping her leg across the chest and smashing her into the canvas with the leg drop. That same leg wrapped around her neck in the next moment and closed tight, putting on a tight, crushing scissorhold, taking away all of Valerie’s breath with unflinching thighs.

Gasping, thrashing, she kicked about and tried to pull her way free, but it was a hopeless endeavor. These were the kind of legs you could just pop your head out of. Might as well make it a learning experience. ”Eh, any tips?”

"Really arch that back, and bridge yourself. Try to twist to the side while you do and when you do it all has to be one strong purposeful motion." Alaina said. "Also if ya grab and pry with your arms that helps too, or even throw in some hard punches to the sides of my knees it sometimes makes someone's legs jolt when they don't want them to." Alaina said as she waited for Valerie to put all that into motion fully expecting it to work for the athletic strong middleweight even if Alaina would work to make it hard for her.

Valerie listened to Alaina’s advice as best as she could, with two powerful thighs crushing her skull and making it slightly tricky for sound to permeate. She got the general gist of what the Amazon was saying, though, enough to process it as good advice. She didn’t want to punch Alaina and risk doing real damage in a spar, but the first thing she said? That was doable.

Valerie inhaled, turned to one side, then exhaled as she rolled hard and threw her entire body weight into the effort, using it to force her way out of the hold and get free in one go. With that done, she’d pop to her feet and stagger back up against the ropes as she tried to catch her breath.

Alaina felt Valerie pop out and with some serious force, she listened and executed really well! Alaina stood up and remained in the center of the ring with her eyes on Valerie. "That was really good! Girl you pack some serious power in that frame!" Alaina said with a smile. "I tell ya you are another Danny boy would just love working with." Alaina added. If she could get another client for her nephew as a strength trainer that was just the icing on the cake.

Alaina was ready to continue if Valerie was and she nodded to her. "All right you can come at me with whatever you like. I am ready." She said keeping her eyes on Valerie, watching her move.

Was this a spar?

It felt like it was a spar, which wasn’t what Valerie had planned when this started, but that seemed like the way it was going now. This had transformed by a play-by-play transformative experience into a real competition with the heavyweight champion, and she was keenly aware that she was punching above her weight in so many ways. But there was no turning back from an opportunity like this - she had to power forward.

Valerie moved around Alaina, hesitant at first, before she moved forward and came at the Amazon with her hands up, looking for a test of strength. Probably not the best idea on the surface, but she figured she had some ways she could turn this to her advantage.

Alaina saw Valerie ready to grapple and she happily accepted! She would use her strength to try to push Valerie back wand against the ropes or the turnbuckle, whichever seemed easiest. Alaina was not holding back here and while she wasn't going to hammer Valerie with her best offense she was not going to let up in a grapple at all. She wanted to see what Valerie could do and she also knew she had to demonstrate what she was up against. This was going to be quite amusing...
