Ninjutsu and the Way of the Fist [Drifter Vs Lotus]

It was certainly a testament to Drifter's endurance, as despite the powerful kicks from Lotus, the Canadian was able to keep her lock held tightly upon the larger woman. Each stiff kick caused a grunt from Drifter as Lotus' powerful leg clashed against her upper body and her back, with one dangerous strike managing to catch her head. However, it did not seem to stop Drifter from twisting her ankle, biting on her own lower lip as she endured the onslaught of strikes coming her way.

With that said however, there was little Drifter could do when Miyuki began to pull herself along the surface of the ring. Such was her strength and with Kay being a lightweight, she was dragged across the ring. Gasping, she knew she would not be able to get Lotus to tap out to this, but it did not stop her from cranking on the hold as much as she could, giving her ankle a sharp and vicious twist. The intent was clearly to inflict as much damage and hurt as possible before the ropebreak... but the moment Lotus' hand managed to grasp onto that bottom rope, Drifter did indeed do the honourable thing, releasing her hold immediately, allowing Lotus some space to rise and recover.

Drifter was not in the best shape either. Those powerful kicks against her body had certainly left a mark. The spry young rookie took her time rising herself, usually one to quickly bounce up and get back to it, it became clear that the kick to her head had rocked her a little despite her holding on and keeping the hold applied at the time. She tried to shake the cobwebs, slowly raising her guard.

Despite the Lotus's efforts, her kicks failed to force Kay to break the submission hold. As such, Miyuka had to resort to a rope break. Her lips curled into a smile when she started making headway towards the ropes, her opponent obviously having no ability to counteract her progress. "Erk!.." Only for more pain to spike up in her ankle, causing her to stop for a brief moment but she soon resumed her crawling.

She soldiered on towards the rope and cursed Kay along the way. "Stubborn bug. The Lotus will squash you for this." Eventually, she grabbed hold onto the bottom ropes, finally freeing herself of the ankle lock. She wasted no time in grabbing the ropes and pulling herself to her feet. However, it was obvious to all just how much damage Drifter's hold left upon the larger woman, who basically limped on one foot into her fighting pose.

For the time being at least, she held her ground and allowed herself some time to recuperate. She would only strike with a thrust kick to the head should Kay foolishly try to approach.

Naturally, Drifter was looking to press her advantage. The moment Lotus was upon her feet, she began with the threats and the insults. It was all water off a duck's back for Drifter who was focused only on taking down her larger opponant. So far it was so good, and she could see Lotus was visibly uncomfortable upon the leg she was standing on. There was an issue however when Drifter went to advance... she did not realise how hard she had been kicked, and it turned out she was in a bit of a haze as it where. Lotus had caught her pretty good several times during the submission hold, kicking her in the back and catching her head.

As such, when she advanced, Kay was a little groggy with her movements, and the moment she went towards Lotus, the larger woman looked to raise her boot to defend herself. Kay saw it coming a mile away, but her body moved far too slow and her focus was not quite as straight as she thought. With a gasp, it was all Kay could do to raise her arms and try and defend herself. She managed to guard, but the kick was so hard it sent her straight onto her back. Kay looked to get to her feet as fast as she fell, but she staggered a little... realising all too quickly that perhaps she should have taken a moment to recover rather than be so reckless!

Apparently, Drifter decided to try her luck and moved in to attack. The Lotus sought to make her opponent regret the decision, even if her kick ended up getting blocked, it still knocked Drifter down. "Hmph." Miyuki smirked as she seized the opportunity to inflict more damage and stepped forwards, ignoring the pain lingering in her ankle when she walked. Once in range, she spun around and twisted and twirled her body a full three hundred and sixty degress. She lifted her leg up mid-spin and attempted to bash her heel into Kay's head for a spin kick.

Kay was still slowly picking herself up, having eaten all of the vicious big boot from the supposed Ninja she was up against. It did not exactly seem like a Ninja attack, but when you were the size of Lotus I guess it did not really matter. Managing to shift up towards her knees, Drifter could hear the approach of her opponent before she could see her, her footsteps making the ring vibrate with each heavy step as she approached. As such, she was able to look up just in time to see what was coming.

For all the good it did however.... Drifter raised her arms to once again defend, covering her head and trying to block the worse of the damage. It did not do all that much for her. Though she got her arms between her head and Lotus' incoming boot, the sheer strength of the blow once more sent her right down to the ground, the impact leaving her reeling as she rolled backwards and fell upon her back. She shouted out in clear pain, her arms actually ending up worse off than she would have desired, her head still reeling having had little chance to get her bearings back! Drifter knew she was in trouble!

Again, the Lotus threw a brutal kick and again, Drifter blocked the strike as best she could. Although her arms absorbed the brunt of the blow, the kick knocked her down yet again. "Fear the Lotus's martial prowess." Miyuki declared in a threatening albeit self-absorbed manner as she visciously stomped on her opponent's abdomen. "The Lotus said she will squash you." She reminded before she subjected Kay to two more belly stomps.

Afterwards, the Lotus squatted down, wrapped her arms around Kay's waist, and dead lifted her up into her feet. However, the heavyweight wrestler maintained her firm grasp on her foe. "Lotus Suplex!" She announced the name of her own signature move (belly-to-belly suplex) aloud shortly before performing it. She leaned backwards and threw Drifter overhead with enough force to send her flying.

Lotus was relentless with her kicks, each managing to strike true, causing Drifter to grunt loudly in pain as a loud clop was heard as each booted strike clashed against her alluring midriff. After taking several kicks and stomps to the stomach, Kay was left stunned, gasping for air and favouring her stomach from the punishment she was getting. The crowd began to jeer loudly, but it all seemed to mean nothing for The Lotus whose focus was on the Drifter alone right now. There was little Kay could do when Lotus reached down, wrapping powerful arms around her waist to pull her up into an embrace.

It was a frightening display of power, as Lotus made Drifter look as if she weighed nothing at all. A gasp out pain escaped from Kay as she tried to free herself from what began as a bearhug, feeling her spine click and near creak under the building pressure. Kay was about to begin striking at Lotus, as the pressure of her embrace began to snap her out of her winded and stunned state... but it seemed Lotus had plans to release her anyway. The problem was in the nature of that release. Kay's eyes went wide when Lotus announced her signature suplex... before performing it to perfection! Drifter was sent sailing through the air, the strength of Lotus launching her impressively far much to the horror of the watching fans. It was an impressive sight, but the hard impact as Kay bounced off the mat was shocking and painful.

Kay was left writhing in agony when her form finally settled. She shouted out in pain, being completely woman handled by the more powerful Lotus. Slowly, she tried to shift onto her hands and knees... trying to get up, trying to do anything... but her body would not move right now!

"Hmph." The Lotus huffed in a self-satisfaction after she executed her signature belly-to-belly suplex, with the audible thud of her opponent crashing onto the canvas in particular bringing a smile onto her face. With an air of gravitas, she marched over to Drifter's prone body. "Little, little, insect." Miyuki taunted her foe as she rolled her neck and shoulders.

"With her weak little arms and her weak little legs, trying to stand up to the Lotus." She looked upon Kay and grinned. "Such foolishness." Then the Lotus lifted her leg up and with some theatrical movement with her arms, stomped onto Drifter's abdomen. This time, the heavyweight ninja continued to press her foot down and apply more crushing pressure onto the lightweight wrestler instead of throwing more stomps.

Drifter was deciding pretty quickly that she did not hold much liking to The Lotus. There was an arrogance about the woman, in the way she moved, the way she carried herself and definitely in how she addressed and spoke to Drifter. She had nothing but insults, and her theatrics were certainly starting to wear the lightweight down. Kay tried to rise, but the impact of the belly to belly suplex was still ringing through her entire form. She winced, clutching at her back when she was able to get up to one knee. It gave Lotus all the time she needed, when the larger woman would send a solid boot down right against her midriff!

The crowd began to jeer loudly as Drifter was pressed down against her back from the vicious boot. This was no mere series of stomps however this time, as the Lotus would press her weight down into her foot, pressing it into the Drifter's bare stomach to slowly begin crushing her against the mat. Drifter screamed out loud, feeling the terrible strength of Lotus as she virtually began to step down upon her and grind her into the surface of the ring. Kay grasped at her shin with both hands, futily trying to lift her aggressors powerful leg.

Rational thought escaped her for a moment as the pain and instinct took over... but after a few short breathless gasps, the lightweight began to think. She tried to lift her leg up for a sharp kick, trying to catch Lotus in the back of the knee in an attempt to disbalance her. If she was successful and brought her low.. she would look to try and send a second kick towards her head.

With Drifter quite literally crushed beneath the Lotus's boot, she considered this match to be pretty much over. She mulled over what she should do next, her mind wandering for a crucial moment. "Grk!" A sudden kick to her knee not only yanked her out of her thoughts, but caused her to lose her footing as well. She ended up falling to one knee to avoid collapsing altogether.

Her brows furrowed in irritation. "You-gah!" She snapped but was interrupted by a kick to the head from Kay. The blow sent a dazed Miyuki staggering backwards before she ultimately fell flat on her ass. She just sat there and grimaced, clutching her temples with one hand as she tried to shake the cobwebs out of her head.
