Cecilia Lombard vs. Yoro Yobi

Yoro might have relied on her momentum, but such tactics could just as easily be turned against her - and Cecilia was keen on exploiting that fact. As Yoro came near, she ducked down, leaving her opponent to hit the ropes and spring back in her direction. From there, Cecilia could grab her by the neck and swing around her side, bringing Yoro to the ground!

A smile crossed her face. This was where she preferred to be - Cecilia was skilled when it came to submissions, and as long as she could keep her opponent on the ground, she was sure she would have her in just the right place to control the action. But to her surprise, Yoro sprung back to her feet before she could do anything to her! Looking up from the mat, Cecilia let out a gasp as she rose to a seated position. "What..!? Just how tough are you!?" she scowled.

Nevertheless, Cecilia would have to move! She had already seen how dangerous it would be to take her eyes off Yoro for too long, and she had to think on her feet if she wanted to avoid paying the price. She watched as Yoro came charging back toward her, jumping off the mat to hurl herself on top of Cecilia. But, once again, the heel knew that momentum could hinder her foe as much as it could benefit her. As Yoro was coming down, Cecilia leaned back and kicked her legs up in the air, hoping to drive them into her opponent's descending form!

"Grk!" Yoro wheezed as her opponent caught her in mid-air with a devastating kick. Her trajectory stopped abruptly and she dropped to the canvas with a dull thud, her limbs listlessly splayed in random directions. She couldn't help caressing her stomach while her chest heaved heavy breaths in an attempt to recoup the air knocked out of her lungs courtesy of Cecilia's legs.

"N-nice counter..." And even then, Yoyo gave out a compliment with a grimace and a weak yet sincere smile. Although it would take her about a dozen seconds of resting, she would eventually attempt to stand up if given the opportunity. But even if she did manage to stagger onto her feet, her breathless state meant that she did nothing other than stand there for the time being.

Cecilia had waited for the very last second to make her move, a fact that she had calculated precisely. She wanted to lay there in wait, feigning being down and helpless as Yoro was descending on her. She wanted her opponent to have hope that her collision could bring her victory, right before she would sweep that hope out from underneath her, attacking only when she was sure the very prospect of a counter was far from Yoro's mind.

It had worked out well for her, too. As Cecilia slammed her boots into her body, Yoro had gone down in a heap, bowled backward by the kick and left sprawling out on the mat. A few faces in the crowd winced and groaned in sympathy; they could only imagine how much Yoro was hurting.

And yet, Cecilia wasn't satisfied. Even as Yoro complimented her on her efforts, it was the exact last thing she wanted to hear. The girl crossed her arms and looked off with a huff, rejecting the gesture. She didn't just want to break Yoro physically, she wanted her to fear her, and to claim dominance over her on all levels. If Yoro still considered this a friendly match, it was proof there was still more work to be done. "Hmph. Save your breath...you never know when you might need it."

Cecilia lay flat on the mat, allowing her opponent to get back to her feet. This, too, was part of her plan. She wanted to lull her foe into a false sense of security, to trick her into thinking she'd be safe on her feet. But even when she was prone, Cecilia was dangerous - as soon as Yoro had stabilized herself on her feet, Cecilia would raise her hips and kick at her ankle, looking to knock her back down the moment she got her bearings!

Unexpectedly, Cecilia didn't attack, granting Yoro enough time to recuperate. She lethargically sat up and glanced at her opponent's prone body. "Hmm?" Her eyebrow rose in confusion. "Why ya laying about for?" She asked as she stood up. "Woah!" Cecilia answered by kicking Yoyo's ankle the second she found her footing, causing her to collapse onto her ass. Nonetheless, she'd try to get up again and if she did, she'd immediately lunge at the American for another body splash attempt.

From the mat, Cecilia settled her eyes on Yoro with a cold stare, meeting her confusion with disdain. "I should ask you why you're wasting your breath," she muttered. "Even if I'm on my back, I can still take you down...and that, by the way, is pathetic." Indeed, Cecilia saw this as an opportunity to conserve her energy, stalling for time to recover while she let Yoro run around in circles to try and fight back - and tire herself out in the process. All she needed to do was lie in wait, baiting Yoro into making the right moves, and then she could go in for the kill.

Yoro came charging for Cecilia once again, but this time, the silver-haired girl was planning on using even less effort to punish her foe. Just as Yoro was about to land, Cecilia would roll off to the side, letting her opponent wipe out face-first on the canvas. If that worked, Cecilia would quickly kip up to her feet, raising one foot to deliver a stomp against Yoro's back. "And maybe this will get you to stay down, for once!"

Like before, Cecilia apparently opted to continue lazing about on the ground so Yoro experienced no issues getting back up. And like before, she threw herself at her opponent in the ropes of landing a body splash, only to end up literally falling on her face instead. Somewhat dazed, she got on all fours and was about to spring onto her feet when- "gah!" A boot from Cecilia sent Yoyo back down.

"~Maybe...~" She replied in a cheeky tone before she suddenly spun around and lunged at her foe's legs, attempting some sort of scuffed double leg takedown. "Let's get down and dirty together!" With another innuendo, she tried to muscle Cecilia down to the mat where Yoro could then follow up with a variety of splashes or smothers.

Yoro was on her way back up, but Cecilia had no intentions of letting her get far. She wasted no time in driving the sole of her boot against the girl's back, knocking her face-first into the mat. Cecilia looked off with a groan, shaking her head. It was downright embarrassing to think that her opponent still thought she had a chance - that she was still holding onto the blind hopes that she'd be able to turn this around, even when Cecilia had thwarted her at every turn.

This was no exception. Even after Cecilia had landed a stomp against her back, Yoro got right back up. The cheery tone in her voice was especially grating to Cecilia, who had tried to get through to this girl time and time again that it was hopeless, and yet she never seemed to learn her lesson! Her eyes narrowed and her fist clenched as she leaned in closer. "Oh for the love of-" she began - but she wouldn't have a chance to finish her sentence before Yoro threw herself back at her, grabbing at her legs and sweeping them off the mat!

Cecilia fell to her back, landing with a groan. Her teeth clenched, and a ripple went through the canvas under the force of the landing. Getting slammed against the mat was never fun, and she felt the ache of the impact - but what Yoro didn't realize was that, in taking the two of them to the ground, she was leaving herself open to Cecilia's submission skills. She had put herself right in the line of fire.

A confident smirk crossed Cecilia's face as she leaned in a little closer. "You've got no idea what you just did, do you?" she said. With that, she would attempt to raise her hips and kick off to the side, hoping to roll Yoro off of her before she could get back up. If that worked, Cecilia would roll herself over to follow, before she would throw her legs around Yoro's head to clamp them together and apply a headscissor!

"Of course not!" With a bright smile, Yoro playfully responded to Cecilia's threatening remark. Then Yoyo literally pressed her newfound advantage by pressing her body onto her opponent's body and wrapped her arms securely around the American's chest when she tried to buck Yoro off. She then just hugged Cecilia as tightly as possible.

That way, the Japanese wrestler hoped to prevent her foe from shoving her off while serving also wearing Cecilia down via a crushing bearhug. "Hehehe." Yoro giggled. "~You said you wanted me to stay down!~" She stated mischievously. "~I'm staying down.~" Furthermore, she attempted to further cement her dominant position by applying a grapevine with her legs.

Cecilia had to scoff, shaking her head as Yoro confirmed what she'd been suspecting all along. This girl really was clueless, and it was going to be her downfall. If Cecilia was a more merciful type, she'd almost have pity on Yoro for how much she was in over her head - but Cecilia had no mercy to spare.

But just as Cecilia prepared to knock her opponent off of her, Yoro responded in kind by wrapping her arms in place around her body, holding her to the ground under her weight! It was practically effortless how she'd been able to counter with such a simple move, and yet here she was! Cecilia could feel every ounce of her opponent's body pressing against hers, and she shuddered, clenching her teeth - but what really got on her nerves was how Yoro kept up her playful attitude all the while, treating this like some kind of joke. Being beaten at all wasn't something Cecilia would tolerate, but she would not let herself be beaten by someone who wasn't even trying to take this seriously!

"Rrgh...you know full well what I meant-!" Cecilia hissed, wincing and coughing as Yoro's arms squeezed tighter around her. And to make matters worse, she was going to secure her legs as well, slipping her legs around hers and wrenching them out to the sides. Now Cecilia wouldn't be able to roll to her side to reverse their positions - and with each passing moment the strain on her legs was building!

Cecilia hissed, gritting her teeth to try and hold back the urge to scream. But she couldn't show weakness, and she refused to let this fool believe even for a moment that she had won. There was only one thing Cecilia had left that she could do. Her ribs were being squeezed in, and her legs were trapped, but she still had her hands free - and she was going to put them to good use! Just then, she swung her hand up at Yoro's face, her fingers curled to latch onto her cheeks and claw at them with her nails in an attempt to break the hold!

Much to Cecilia's chagrin, Yoro not only managed to neutralize her opponent's resistance via a bearhug but she successfully supplemented the hold with a grapevine. "~Of course not!~" Again, she answered back in a mischievous manner. "I'm just messing with y-ack!" Cecilia interrupted Yoyo's by quite literally clawing onto her face, yet she maintained both submission moves.

"Owww." She winced slightly as she felt her foe's nails dig into her skin but she was otherwise unphased. Regardless, she soon decided to switch gears. She broke the grapevine and swiftly poised her legs to jump. Then she dropped the bearhug and bounced onto her feet in the same motion. Without skipping a beat, she jumped yet again and kicked yet legs out.

Her rear plumetted onto Cecilia's abdomen for a devasting butt drop intended to knock the air out of her lungs. Should Yoyo's ass land on her intended target, she would remain seated atop the other woman and rub her cheek. "Wow. That cheek scratch thing was cool." She chuckled. "No one's ever tried that on me before."
