"And rock your world it will! And if it doesn't, I'm going to call shenanigans and accuse you of trying to squeeze another free meal off of me." Reiko quickly pointed out, "There's much to enjoy something simple like grilling meat, especially when there's a lot of them!" Reiko cheerfully exclaimed, meat was a great source of protein which lead to muscle if used correctly.

And it also helped out a lot with being so damn tasty.

It'd be a while for the meats to come out, though not as long since Reiko and Candy would be in charge of cooking their own food, another plus in Reiko's mind especially since she was hungry. So then, it was time for a little small talk, something that Reiko and Candy didn't have the time to do since being thrown in match after match and being competitive as always. "So how are you adapting to living in Japan? This is your first time being in another country other than North America right?"

Candy Cane would shake her head and then let out a sigh. " Uh huh. You can't prove it though." Candy Cane said jokingly towards her friend. As she would smile at Reiko, she couldn't help but enjoy her time with the brunette. It seemed as if this was what it was meat to feel like, having a friend. Candy Cane couldn't really remember the last time that she felt this way.

The Canadian would eye Reiko as she started to speak. She would let out a light sigh and then roll her eyes. She'd point at Reiko's face with her free hand, pressing her finger tip up against the nose of the Zero Fighter " North America ain't no country. It's a continent. I'm from Canada, and it's lame over there." Candy Cane spoke out as she would flick Reiko's nose lightly. " Japan is lame as well....but it's...better at least." Candy Cane let out as she shyed away from looking at Reiko and then looked back at the brunette, very faint blush on her face.

Reiko puffed her cheeks when Candy joked about her not being able to prove it, there was no way anyone could resist the urge of yakiniku! "I'll know when you're lying, I haven't met anyone, who wasn't a vegetarian, who could say no to this kind of meat!" she joyously let out, it was hard for Reiko to enjoy moments like this, the business of professional wrestling being a tough one. It was hard to form any lasting relationships when everyone had the same goal of being on top.

Then Reiko's cheeks reddened when she was corrected about North America being a continent, stammering to try and salvage herself but to no avail as Candy flicked her nose. "He-hey!" she let out, bringing her hand to her nose to rub it. "Rude!" she playfully let out, hearing Candy mention that Japan being better in some form.

Before she could ask however, the meat was served! Reiko's eyes sparkling at the massive bowl of raw meat that was presented to them! "Let's dig in!" Reiko shouted out, using her chopsticks, immediately swooping in and grabbing a clump of meat to then dump them on the grill, quickly spreading them apart to cover her side of the grill! The sizzling of fresh meat rang out as their juices seeped out of the meat and down to the open flames below!

It wouldn't take too long for one side to cook as Reiko was attentive to check to see if the pieces were ready to flip over as she did.

" Rude is my middle name." Candy Cane let out jokingly in response to Reiko's little playfull word, the redhead would shrug her shoulders next as she would watch as the food finally came, it was mostly just meat being served to them...in fact it was only meat. The Canadian would raise her eyebrow and look on at the raw meat, she then turned towards Reiko who seemed overtly excited.

You'd think it was Candy Cane treating her to food and not the other way around. The Canadian simply shook her head would watch as Reiko grabbed a hold of a lot of meat with her chopsticks and put it on the grill, spreading it out and already the meat started to sizzle. Becky eyed the meat as it cooked and then looked on at Reiko.

The Canadian would then turn her attention over towards the chopsticks next to her hand and grab a hold of them. Using both hands to try and position them like they were in Reiko's hand, and fumbling quite a bit with it. She would curse out under her breath as she tried to adjust her grip....when she finally had them settle in her hand somewhat she found that moving and closing the chopsticks was more than a little difficult for her.

Reiko kinda of jumped the gun as their rice wasn't even out yet, the waitress having to quickly rush to the table to serve the rice to the two rivals as Reiko quickly tossed over the meat to the other side, her hand already armed with the bowl of rice. Reiko had gotten three pieces of the grilled meat, juicy and ripe for a great burst of flavor!

However, she was not blind, she noticed that Candy was having difficulty with chopsticks. She wasn't that surprised, chopsticks were difficult to just pick up from the get go as she decided to help Candy. Whether she wanted it or not as she dumped the pieces of meat right onto Candy's rice.

"Here, let me show you!"
she let out, grabbing a hold of Candy's hand as she reached over the table as she set the chopsticks in her hand as she would. "Now just move your fingers like this!" she said, trying to give Candy an example to work off of, moving her chopsticks in her hand.

Becky hadn't even registered that they had gotten bowls of rice to go along with the meat as she was far too busy struggling with her chopsticks, she didn't understand this at all, yet when she saw Reiko plot down three pieces of meat on the bowl that was on the redhead's side of the table, Candy Cane would turn her attention to Reiko.

Only for the brunette to grab a hold of her hand and moving her fingers and hand around Candy Cane's. Fixing her grip on the chopsticks and showing her how she should move her fingers in order to actually use the chopsticks. While not perfect, it seemed as if it would suffice for now. Candy Cane still didn't get why she couldn't just have a fork, or something. Hell, she'd take eating with her hands over eating with a pair of twigs.

She did blush faintly though at Reiko holding her hand like that and adjusting her grip, basically guiding her along. If it was out of embarrassment of not having understood the chopsticks or for another reason, was anyones guess.

" Uh..thanks." Candy Cane let out as she looked over at her bowls, seeing the meat juices coat the white rice underneath. " So..how am I supposed to eat rice with two sticks?"

Although it would've been easier with a fork, Reiko wasn't sure if this restaurant had forks. The waitress already came and gone and she would've felt bad to call back the waitress over again after just leaving. But it wasn't too much of a problem, she had complete faith in Candy in learning how to use chopsticks that it wasn't going to matter in a bit. Having given Candy the basic form of holding the chopsticks, she would let Candy learn from here on out with experience!

"Easy! Japan uses sticky white rice, so it clumps together! An easy trick to do, is instead of trying to grab the rice you stick the sticks into the rice and then scoop out a clump with them!" Reiko explained, grabbing another triple pieces of meat off of the grill, placing them on her rice as she stuck her sticks into the rice, making sure the one piece of meat was in her grip with the sticks and then scooped, sandwiching the rice and meat together and keeping them in place without much effort!

"And then enjoy!" she'd finish off by devouring the meat and rice, chewing into it as the rush of flavor and texture of rice to delight her taste buds! "Mmmmm!"

Candy Cane would raise her eyebrow as she looked on at Reiko while the Zero Fighter explained the principle behind eating rice with chopsticks, when she mentioned an easy trick was to just scoop the sticky rice up onto the sticks. That forced Candy Cane to let out a " Haaah?" in surprise as she looked on at the brunette. " If you're already scooping up the rice then why not use a spoon?" Candy Cane spoke out as she would eye Reiko grab some rice and meat with her chopstick.

Candy Cane would shake her head following Reiko putting the food in her mouth, " So lame..." She let out as she would stick her chopsticks into the rice and scoop up some rice, most of it fell off the sticks, but she had a decent enough clump of it. Covered in meat juices she put it in her mouth she quickly did a second action of scooping a piece of meat up with her chopsticks.

Then putting that meat in her mouth, she started to chew and let the flavor and texture flow through her mouth and dance on her tastebuds. It was tasty for sure, but Candy Cane felt like she didn't fully understand how to use chopsticks yet.

Reiko narrowed her eyes, mostly out of annoyance as Candy kept bringing up western utensils. There was more utility in chopsticks with being able to grab other pieces of food, like meat! "Well spoons can't grab food can it? Sure it's easier to scoop, but having the option to grab makes chopsticks so much better!" Reiko jest back, trying to hype up chopsticks as the superior utensil to play along with Candy.

Watching Candy take a bit of the meat and rice, she watched in anticipation to see if bringing her here was a good choice. Knowing that Candy wasn't too fond of Japanese cuisine, she wanted to try and open the doors to her friend and see if she could have her be more open to trying out the other amazing food that Japan had to offer!

"So? How is it?"

Candy Cane got where Reiko was coming from, sort of....the way that Reiko could use those sticks made them seem as practically as anything could possibly be, she could scoop rice with it, pick up meat all kinds of things. It looked like very useful utensils if she had to admit, but Candy Cane wasn't going to admit anything of the sort. She'd look on at Reiko for a moment or two as she herself took a bite of the food.

The Rice that had been soaked in the meat juices were rather delicious, but the meat itself was just goddamn amazing. The Canadian would shake her head a little as she listened on to Reiko ask that question. " Uhh.." Candy Cane let out, trying to play it cool...that was the only thing she could do at this moment. " It's alright." Candy Cane spoke out, in a not very Candy Cane like manner, clearly she wasn't the best actor when it came to masking how delicious this food was.
