Tokyo Night Encounter

[Aeri]

The shove to her hip caused her to practically stagger aside, having to make sure not to fall. She’d huff, regaining balance and walking besides Saori..

“Boop.”

She poked her on the nose, before smiling.

“Touched you. And you can’t destroy me anyways..!”

She sat down besides Saori, plopping her head down against the counter and resting her cheek against the solid wood. She’d sigh..

“Tired.. been walking around five hou- HEY! Give me.. I mean..”

She shot up, blinking to get in focus from the little sister comment. She’d wave at the chef, before gesturing to Saori frantically, not to be outdone.

“She’s little sister! Also, as the big sister, I’m paying you, so give check to me!”

Saori only rolled her eyes, wiping her nose of the touch as they entered the shop. That little tap would get its revenge later, but for now... "Too late, I said it first. I'm gettin' the check." She stated, watching the two large bowls make their way to the two's counter. Really, calling them just large would be an understatement. The bowls were as wide as Saori's face and went up high enough to just barely meet her chin. Whether that said more about the bowl's depth or Saori's small height... she didn't want to debate. Point is, these things were huge, and the shop was slammed with the powerful aroma of flavorful noodles. "Anyway! Challenge time!"

Saori grabbed a pair of chopsticks. "First one to finish their bowl gets the honor of paying check!" She pointed her chopsticks at Cassandra. "And I'm a big eater, lil' sis, so hope you're ready to start callin' me 'Onee-sama'!"

“And.. I haven’t eaten properly in.. around three days.”

She said bluntly. Cassandra hummed softly, before looking at the massive bowl.. her stomach rumbled somewhat, her cheeks turning red. It wasn’t like she wasn’t well off.. Cassandra just wasn’t good at taking care of herself in ways other than training. She simply forgot to eat properly at times, and she did just wander around Tokyo for five hours. Picking up the chopsticks, she’d admit..

“.. I can’t use these very well.”

But, she was kind of prepared. She’d pull out a plastic fork and give Saori a small, but very warm smile. Cassandra was beaming with happiness that she was getting to eat side by side with someone she could call sister, but she wouldn’t say much on it.

“I’ll.. be the one to pay, little Sis-ori.”

A creative nickname.. or so she thought anyways.

"Hehehe~" The sound of Cassandra's stomach alone had Saori grinning. It definitely like the grumbling stomach of someone that hadn't eating well in days. Saori could relate, remember the handful of moments she only had fruits and nuts to eat in Brazil, having to actively hunt for her meals days before a match began. Japan was a lot nicer in that regard, but... she did miss the thrill of finding good game.

And it seemed Cassandra was down for their little challenge... even if that nickname was kinda' lame.

"Then you better eat fast, Cass-sister~" Okay, that wasn't any better, but Cassandra started this. "'Cuz I'm knocking this meal out faster than I knocked you out in our match!" With that said, she clapped her hands together. "Thanks for the meal!" And she immediately began digging in.

“Yours is worse.”

She commented on the topic of puns. Tilting her head, she’d look back towards Saori with a little smile. Looking at Saori oddly when she’d clap her hands together, she’d follow suit with a slightly confused look, mimicking her words.

“Thank you for the food..?”

Anyhow. She’d take a slight gulp, before digging in. Looking at Saori eat like a ravenous creature, she knew she had to take extreme measures! Cassie clasped the bowl by its side and brought the contents to her lips. Before tilting her head back and drinking up the soup and noodles in one go, allowing the warm and burning sensation to run down her throat and into her stomach, a small groan escaping her lips. The meat on top, everything else in the ramen was devoured, as she’d slam her bowl down, wiping off her lips. She’d exhale, some steam literally escaping her lips.. did she NOT feel the heat?

“DONE!”

She did, but too famished to care. She’d blow on her fingers, before looking towards Saori with a grin..

And the ravenous race began! Saori immediately scooped and suck in long tracts of noodles, slurping loudly as she did so a breakneck pace. Her chopsticks moved like lightning to devour the meal, bits of broth and meat slathering over her face as she started sweating from the heat and steam reaching her. She'd savor the meal in any other situation and take a moment to actual enjoy the food, but tonight was about speed. For the right for paying the bill and the right of elder sisterhood was on the line! She wasn't going to be out done by this little butterfly. Toned abs and a six-pack meant nothing to someone that ate and hunted in the jungles of Brazi-

And then Cassandra finished first...

"Hm?!" Saori heard the clack of the bowl before her eyes went to Cassandra, glancing over the empty bowl with the last of her noodles still sticking out of her mouth. "... ... ..." Saori looked at her own bowl, just barely empty of noodles with a few bits of meat and broth compared to Cassandra's completely empty bowl. She paused, taking a moment to slurp up the rest of her noodles.

Then, she roared. "Arrrrgh!" A furious and angry cry and had even those outside the shop staring for a moment before drank the broth a noodles in one mighty swig and nearly slammed the bowl down. "Oh hell no! I'm calling foul!" She cried out, pointing at Cassandra. "You don't just... DRINK the damn bowl first, you gotta' eat the noodles first! There's a freakin' etiquette to it!"

When Cassandra looked over at Saori having finished second, and in a way, last, she was expecting the girl to be a good sport, maybe a bit downcast, so she could comfort her as the *elder* sister.

She wasn’t expecting an explosion though.. and really, why wasn’t she? She’d have seen Saori’s fiery temper firsthand, but when Saori screeched like a demented bat, shed flinch back.. before her face took an annoyed visage.

She’d give her a small scowl. Poking her finger at her face.

“Maybe if you hadn’t wasted time looking at me eat how I ate, you might have stood chance! Nobody said I couldn’t drink anyways, and as the BIG sister, I say you listen to me! I won, and I pay!”

She’d huff, glaring at Saori. She’d pull out some cash from her pocket and shove it at the waiter, daring her to do something to stop her with her glare.

Saori's face went red, eyes narrowing at Cassandra's finger just centimeters from her, baring her teeth as if ready to bite it. "Yeah, cause it's common sense that you don't, stupid!" She snarled, pushing her face right into Cassandra's, her eyes only lighting up with brighter rage as she saw the girl place her money done. She refused to except that. She pushed Cassandra's money aside, knocking it off the table as if challenging her. "Let hell you'll pay!" She pulled out a few bills, slamming them on the table. "My LITTLE sister needs to learn some freakin' manners, so I'm winning and paying." She let out a huff in Cassandra's face.

"What are you gonna' do about it, imouto?"

She’d glare at Saori, before pressing her finger against her chest. She’d slowly lean forwards, glaring at her.. almost screaming. The shouts were drawing attention, as she’d press her forehead against Saori’s, scowling at her sister.

“I’m not STUPID! Take that back!”

She’d shake her head..

“I won! Fair and square, you.. you.. urgh!”

Unable to curse in the language she’d desire, she’d display her ferocity in another way. First, she’d walk down and pick up her money.. silently, and hand it into the waiters palm. Then.. Cassandra tossed her a glare. She’d take the bills Saori had smacked down, before SHOVING them in her mouth!

“Take these BACK!! I’m the winner!!”

"Huh? What you gonna' do, huuuuh? Gonna' just walk away an- Acfk?!" Barely two sentences into her taunt and Cassandra moved fast to make Saori shove it. Quite literally in this case as she choked on her own money, staggering back and gagging under the bills, watching the server take Cassandra's money and quickly shuffle away before Saori could say or do more. The bill was paid for, the staff looked happy.

But Saori's face was practically glowing red.

"Rrrrrrrggggh!" Even while gagged she let out an wild snarl, slamming her face into Cassandra's skull with the fury of mad bull. She spat out the bills, practically spitting them into Cassandra's face as she shrieked out in rage. "YOU DIDN'T WIN SHIT, CASS!" She latched onto her sister's shoulders, pulling them both ever closer to each other.

"You... you..." She gritted her teeth, a swear on the tip of her tongue but refusing to come out. "GRAAAAAAAH!" She pulled away, forgoing a swear in place of slapping Cassandra across the face. She didn't have the nerve nor the hatred to cuss out her battle sister, but she definitely had enough anger to give some sharp, stinging pain for some petty revenge.
