Breaking Out (Reiko and Tia)

Oh wow, she just tossed that bag like it was nothing. And she actually looked interested in Reiko. Or... maybe it was the outfit. Yeah, probably the outfit. Maybe... I should take it back? She paused, as if debating to even introduce herself and just walk away. Nope, waaay too late for that. The woman looked way too eager now for Reiko to back down. And Reiko herself didn't want to seem like a wuss in front of this woman. No, she'd at least stick it out for a bit.

"Maizono," She finally said. "Maizono Reiko."

She climbed into the ring, straightening out her gi and hakama. The look of the two together just felt... off. A girl straight out of the dojo trying to take on a boxer. She could already hear the murmurs about her survival, but she shook it all off and tried to focus her eyes on the woman in question. "I'm more a karate and aikido girl than a boxing one, but I'll give it a shot."

[The Riders]

Tia doesn't care for the girl name at all, the only thing she cares for is what she going to do to her. She needs to work out her anger and aggression on someone, and sadly the girl entering the ring is her target but from the looks of her karate gi she may put up a good fight. Hopefully or she just be another sparring partner.

"Don't really care.. we will learn about each other during our match understand." in her stern motherly like tone already waiting to fight. Even doing some light punches and bouncing on her feet ready to rumble or in turn want to see how well this girl can fight and handle her skill and fighting style.

Reiko let out a small huff, pouting at the woman's words. Wow, dealing with a ray of sunshine over here. The woman wasn't being aggressive about it, but it still stung to be brushed off like that. And she already looked disappointed by Reiko offering herself up as a partner (or maybe victim was a better word by the look of it). Still, this woman looked ready to go, shadowboxing in her corner of the ring. And Reiko... was worried. Oh great, I just had to step in the ring with flyweight champion over here! It wasn't like she wasn't use to fighting someone that outclass her, but those people usually held back some.

This... might not be the case.

Reiko took a breath, focusing on the fight ahead and she rose her hands, ready to fight and defend herself.

Tia stops what she is doing, looking at the girl stance and shaking her head at it. Already in stern teacher mode as she places her hands behind her back and walks forward, studying Reiko form and stance even letting out small "Hmm" noises walking in a circle around the younger girl. After completing one circle she steps right back in front of her opponent and is glaring with a small frown on her face.

"Terrible stance you have. What style are you using and have you ever tried boxing or kick boxing for that matter.?"

Reiko flinched at the sudden scolding, already her mind back at the dojo as the woman examined her. The hell? A lecture and criticism were not the things Reiko was expect, and she honestly didn't even know if she wanted to answer the woman. On one hand, at least Reiko wasn't getting treated like that poor punching bag the woman chucked out of the ring. On the other... she'd rather just get punched than hear this stuff, especially while looking at this discerning glare.

"N-No..." She admitted, her voice growing quiet. "I, uh, do karate and aikido."

[The Riders]

Nodding her head listening to the what the young girl is saying, on how she studied Karate and Aikido and that about it. Crossing her arms wondering if Reiko would be open to learning a new style of fighting in the future.

"Well consider this your first free lesson Reiko I am going to push you and see if you can handle my training..." Giving the girl a grin, before lunging forward throwing a right hook to her body.

The only warning Reiko had was the woman's smirk and the sudden lunge that followed. Oh crap! Her instincts immediately kicked in and she ducked under the punch, scampering away with hands raised in their aikido position out of habit, hands open and ready to catch an attack. Though... the force of that punch might be a little much to try and redirect with her build and body.

She narrowed her eyes, nearly snarling at the woman. "You can freaking warn me when you're gonna' take a sudden swing at me, lady!"

[The Riders]

Tia smirks seeing that her punch was blocked and redirected by her smaller opponent, but she was more impressed seeing that Reiko instincts are on par with some really good fighters that she knew in her heyday. But hearing Reiko telling her to warn her next time... That not going to happen at all if she thinks that then she a little fool.

"How about no. now DODGE" She yells out throwing a quick jab at Reiko face, while waiting to throw a right straight as a follow up punch. Wanting to see what her opponent is going to do.

Amano barely finished her sentence before the woman struck out again, and it seemed she was going harder too. "Whoa!" Amano bobbed to the side, the punch just clipping her cheek, but the second punch that followed-

"Guh!"

-Nailed her, square on the face and making her stagger back. It stung like hell too. "Tch," Amano rose her hands, narrowing her eyes. Okay, she wants a fight, I'll give her one! She darted forward, going low as she thrust her fist for a straight punch at the woman's stomach. "Yaah!"

Seeing her dodge the first strike with a amazing dodge that had her get clipped on the cheek, but frowns seeing the second punch slam into her face sending her backwards. But Tia will give her credit for taking a punch like that to the face and only stumble a bit. Anybody else would have either been floored or seeing stars.

"Ooommpphhh"

Bends forward due to a straight punch right to the stomach, feeling her abs tighten and Reiko fist sinking into her toned stomach. Forcing Tia to back up to catch her breath a big grin on her face while she coughs. "Cough..." Nice shot.. you pack a tiny power in those fists of yours."
