Meiyun Lai vs. Natalia Dominique

In a position like this, Meiyun could certainly go for a schoolgirl pin. The thought did cross her mind - but she knew that this early in the match, Natalia would likely have more fight in her, and she couldn't count on a pin to get her anywhere! She needed to weaken Natalia further if she was to stand a chance against her - but luckily for her, this was just the right position for her to unleash a flurry of mounted punches!

"HAAH! YAAH!!" With each blow she landed, Meiyun was whipping herself up more and more into a frenzy. It didn't matter that Natalia had put up her guard, or that Meiyun was only striking at her arms. She had worked herself into a fever pitch, and each time she swung out with a fist and a battle cry, she could feel the adrenaline spike in her veins. She was in the heat of battle, and the intensity consumed her! She felt powerful! Unstoppable! All her focus was on this singular moment!

...Which was why she wasn't paying attention to what Natalia was doing, and why she didn't see it coming when her opponent kicked up her knees behind her. They struck Meiyun square in the back, and with a gasp, she was thrown off her perch. Meiyun fell forward, landing on her face and letting Natalia go. Her head was spinning, and she groaned under her breath - the landing had rattled her, and she was still trying to collect her bearings.

Luckily for Natalia her knees did the trick and Meiyun was knocked off her. The blue-eyed cutie's arms were hurting badly after taking Meiyun's flurry of punches and she was pretty sure she was going to have plenty of bruises, but those were better in her arms than in her face. She quickly rolled to her side and got on her knees, taking a second to rub her hurting arms as she looked, frowning, at Meiyun.

"let's play rough then!" the blue-eyed cutie added as she tried to pull Meiyun up to her feet by the hair, while she stood up right behind her... and once Meiyun was on her feet Natalia raised her right knee and tried to slam it hard into the small of Meiyun's back.

Still rattled from the sudden turnaround of events, Meiyun had been taken by surprise, and she was still trying to get her bearings. She needed a moment to collect herself, lying face-down on the mat as she panted for breath. Eventually, she would start to lift herself back up, getting her knees under her and pushing off the ground with her palms...but that wouldn't be enough. Natalia had already caught up to her, and she wasn't letting her opponent rise under her own volition.

Suddenly feeling the sting in her scalp from where Natalia grabbed her ponytail, Meiyun winced. "Hey-! Watch it! Oww..!" But she was unable to prevent her opponent from lifting her the rest of the way to her feet - and from there, she was lined up perfectly for Natalia to slam her knee right into her back!

"GAAH-!" Coughing and sputtering from the impact, Meiyun was thrown forward. Her upper body landed draped across the ropes, her head and arms dangling over the edge as the top rope pressed into her soft midsection. Her teeth clenched and she tried to steady herself, teetering in place and threatening to lose her balance!

It felt good to pay Meiyun back for the rough treatment she had given her at the start of the match, but Natalia was not done by a long shot. With how Meiyun had landed, she was off her balance, dizzied by the fall and needing to clutch the ropes to either side of her to stabilize her position. Bent over forward, her center of balance had been offset, and she lay teetering as she caught her breath with harried pants, half still in the ring and half out of it. All this, of course, meant she wasn't giving much thought to what her opponent was up to - but she would soon be reminded as she felt Natalia's palm smack straight across her behind!

"GAH-!" Jolted by the surprise, Meiyun jerked up off the ropes as her face went red, the motion causing her rear as well as her chest to shake as her body bounced against the ropes. But the worst was yet to come, as Natalia slipped her arms around Meiyun's own, soon restraining her in her nelson hold! But then, Natalia would let her go...for only a few short seconds, giving Meiyun precious little time to breathe before she was grabbed by the hair!

She struck the pad with a thud, her head cracking back, but her groans were muffled into the turnbuckle as she sank into place against it, dazed.

Having taken a good couple of knocks right to the head, Meiyun was dizzied, and even after Natalia let her go, she lay there slumped against the post, her arms dangling limply below her. Her eyes were glazed over and a groan left her throat; she felt like she could fall over from the slightest breeze, and that the corner post was the only thing holding her up.

But either way, Meiyun would be brought back to reality soon enough. Through her haze, she could feel Natalia's arms slip under her own, getting a secure grip on her before she pulled her back toward her. "H-Huh..!?" At once, Meiyun was shaken to her senses, her eyes fluttering open just in time to see herself being lifted off her feet! "Whoah, HEY! Disoriented, she waved with her arms and legs, trying to pull free, but it was no use - and as Natalia tightened her grasp around the Young Lioness's soft midsection, Meiyun sputtered and gagged, drawn back in against her.

Meiyun felt herself being lifted higher before her legs were hooked over the top rope. She looked around, trying to get her bearings; she still had no idea what Natalia might have in mind. "Hey, what...what are you talking about? What are you doing to me-?" Meiyun was still learning the ropes, and a manuever as complex as the Tree of Woe was something she'd never see coming - which meant that as Natalia let her flop over, hanging suspended upside down from the ropes, she let out a gasp! Her ponytail trailed toward the ground as she fell back, her arms hanging low. Left in such a position, she was powerless to save herself from whatever Natalia might have up her sleeve; she didn't even know how she'd begin! "WHOAH! HEY-!"

Natalia stepped back after letting Meiyun go and took a second to admire her work. Meiyun looked absolutely adorable hanging upside down like that. Natalia expected that by being upside down, Meiyun's abs would be tensed and made more vulnerable to the kick.
