"W-WHY, YOU-!!" she snapped. "I'll show YOU who's the real woman when you're crying like a baby!" She knew it wasn't the best comeback, but Kirie didn't need it to be perfect when she was just as ready to do the talking with her fists. Indeed, as Miyabi went stumbling back away from Kirie, it seemed she was getting worked up just the same, as she shot a glare back at her - and she issued her ultimatum.
Kirie's eyes narrowed as she let out a hiss, but she stomped her foot on the floor, glaring back at Miyabi and holding a fist up at her threateningly. "You know what, FINE! Tonight it is! I'll make sure you're sorry-!" As Miyabi was backing away, Kirie leaned in closer, preparing to tackle her - and it was then that Hiro finally acted. While he usually knew better than to get in Kirie's way, he knew that an official proclaimation had already been made. Their dispute was to be settled tonight in the ring, and letting Kirie escalate things here and now would only lead to disaster. It was better to wait until then.
That was the reasoning he used, at least, to reach out and throw his arms around the girl, pulling her back against his chest. It would be a gamble as to how Kirie would respond - but, fortunately for Hiro, she didn't fight it, instead turning back toward him with a smile. In that instant, it seemed the fury in her melted away, replaced with a calm smile. "Ahh...thanks, Hiro-kun. I knew you'd always be there for me."
"Uh...yeah," Hiro said with a nervous chuckle, looking off. "Let's go with that. We...we should probably get ready for our match tonight, then..."
"Of course." Kirie leaned in, planting a kiss on his lips. "And I know you'll be there to watch me prove she's out of our league...won't you, Hiro-kun?~"
"Yeah...of course." All the same, Hiro gulped. With how Kirie could be, he could only hope this other girl wouldn't get hurt too badly...
