Late Entry, Early Contendership (MIDDLEWEIGHT OPEN THREAD)

Despite the numbers being already fairly high someone else decided to weigh in on the 'debate' in the ring and around it. Shortly after Natasha finished Kyoko Akan's music started playing and out the Belly Queen came hwaering her own belt in hand looking as smug and confident as ever. "A failure soccer mom, a pornstar, some Russian hick trying to play cool, and a blowhard thinking she deserves a spotlight. If any of this is the future number one contender I fear for how much interest that belt could even bring." Kyoko said looking at the group around her and walking around the entrance ramp.

"Look we can all pretend to be the greatest but false bravado and empty threats will only get all of you so far. And that's usually just 15 minutes of fame before someone with real skill takes you down. Like me" She said taking a bow at the top of the ramp as her belt clinged to her waist. Proudly showing her name on it as the crowd was less then happy with her response.

Alaina was still intimidating and up close was no exception. Natasha had won by cheating, it was her main gameplan, distract the ref, use foreign objects, anything. All to get the 1,2,3. However a challenge was not something she backed down from.

Her attention was also take with Reiko, her voice seemed familiar but she couldn't place it. However the girl was very sexy and Natasha could see how someone would fall for her (ironic given Natashas tag team partner who was very taken with Reiko!!)

"OK Amazon, I can give you zee chance but...." The crowd paused sensing something big as Natasha looked upwards for a moment.

"Forget zee environment, You can take on zee Russian Seductress in a Hell in Zee Cell match and...." The crowd gasp was loud and they were eager to hear more.

"It will be finisher vs finisher!! No escape, no cheating!! 1,2,3 in zee middle of zee ring.... Or are you too old to say yes??"

Natasha waited, she was literally calling Alaina into one of the most brutal matches in wrestling. If the Amazon took the bait, Natasha would be satisfied, and could leave the wrestlers too it.

Alaina was silent for a second then nodded at Natasha. "I wouldn't miss a chance to destroy you for anything. You have yourself a deal." Alaina said before looking up at Kyoko raising an eyebrow and shaking her head with disapproval. Alaina got a hellish rematch with Natasha so as far as she was concerned today was a great day.

Any other matches with her friend Diana or these other naysayers was just gravy.

Barely having chance to take in Reiko's curious threat, Diana found herself taking the backseat for a moment as two more beauties chose to join the middleweight in ring, with seemingly one taking a particular liking to Alaina, and the other deriding everyone including the Italian. Given Diana could very well remember the Belly Queen from a previous encounter, Diana was curious where such things would go.

Taking a few steps back, she was more than happy to lean against the ropes with her arms hanging over the top half, keen to see how the fight she had started would go on, whilst taking note to not only jump to her close friends aid if by chances she was needed, and to look to the crowd; seemingly laughing alongside them whilst a traditional bitch fight ensued before them.

Natasha smiled, she was going to take on her nemesis and her latest obsession. She dropped the mic with an arrogant flick of her wrist and moved to face Reiko.

She mouthed the word, "soon" to her giving a long look at the girls curves as her mind contemplated the various smother moves she could be capable of. Then she exited the ring and stomped up the ramp, gazing at Kyoko with some familiarity before exiting the scene and going backstage

As Natasha made her way towards the backstage area, she'd pass a tall figure that was on his way to the arena. To the tune of no entrance music , additional ones would be overkill at this point, he thought, the CEO and General Manager of LAW appeared. Clad in a black suit and with a mic in hand, he'd try to bring some degree of order to the situation. As he stepped onto the ramp, DeFranco speak into his microphone in a calm casual voice.

"Hey guys. What's up? Just thought I'd try to break some of the tension. It's me, by the way. Mr. DeFranco. You know? The guys that...actually...makes...the matches? As opposed to that Russian dominatrix type chick that I only vaguely remember hiring." He's point towards the backstage area, referencing the lady that had recently made her leave and earning a few hearty chuckles from the fans. After a brief pause, he'd take a look around at each of the lovely women on the LAW roster, each of them ready to get down the business they had on their respective agenda.

"Ehhh, let's see...We've got the Miss Midriff over here...Reiko who's booked for a qualifier match and therefore already has her own opportunity at a title...The veteran Alaina who's one of my biggest draws! But she might not keep moving crowds like she used to if she doesn't step it up....and...the woman who started all this and announced herself as number one contender...because she missed the deadline..."

The tall, dark man would facepalm for a moment while trying to collect his thoughts.

"Ok well first and foremost, lemme make something clear. By and large, championship matches, accolades and so forth at LAW. By and large,
those are EARNED, not handed out at random or given to your pals. You obviously each have your own goals you'd like to accomplish here, but if any of you want middleweight gold, you'll have to work for it....how it is you do that? Well, I'm open to suggestions. The easy and logical route would have been to make the girl who finishes in third place in the tourney, the number one contender. But if you guys wanna do things differently, I'll hear you out. I'm not gonna grant ridiculous requests like "Make Me Number One Contender Cause I Said So!" But I will listen. One of you. Any of you. Shoot."

Kyoko stared down Natasha as she left the arena not bothering to try and stop her from running off to hide. Though as she went to continue now that things had clamed down she was interrupted again this time by the CEO himself as he came out to address the growing issue in the ring. Stopping to let him speak, she found him trying to break the ice by telling jokes and addressing the girls in there own way. Rolling her eyes at being called 'Miss Midriff' and not being referred to as one of this places biggest draws in place of Aliana, Kyoko instead opted to try and set the record straight once again.

"You clearly weren't paying attention all that much when I came out. I never tried to make a match happen. Nor do I care how you name your middleweight contender, as far as I'm concerned, that whole tournament proved how pointless it was when I wasn't named a qualifier already. After all unlike that 'Big draw' of yours I'm not past my prime and on the decline. But in hindsight it was for the best, id just make everyone in it look second rate anyway. And unlike these girls I'm not going to waste my time talking about why I'm the best or why I should be this paces headliner, I'm just going to show you." She finished.

Before Reiko knew it, a bunch of things had happened and plenty of more women who thought that they should be number one contender all sprang out and entered the ring, now having an interest collection of would be challenger. Reiko wanted her name to be in the list but not demanded as immediate Number One Contender, no one would've taken her seriously. Another woman, going by the name of Kyoko had similar thoughts.

"Excuse me, you also made a mistake. You're thinking of Reiko HINOMOTO, not me. I'm Tachibana." she had to quickly confirmed, she knew that this was going to be a problem the second she found out that the daughter of the Kamikaze Rose entered the league. She felt a little miffed with the younger girl having better recognition than her, but in the wrestling world she couldn't really complain. She'll have to change her ring name or something. Rei. That'd probably clear things up.

"So by that dint, I don't want to be number one contender, I actually want to prove that I can hang with any of this women here. And like Iron Abs over there said, there's no reason to say why I deserve to be Number One Contender, set me up against anyone and I'll beat them."

Not long after the LAW General Manager stepped out on stage to bring order to the chaos... someone *elses* theme music stirred to life on the arena sound system, a melancholy Japanese melody at first that violently picked up tempo several seconds in.

Isa Kubota stepped out on stage in her street clothes, microphone on hand and the world's most self satisfied, condescending smirk on her lips. .

"I don't envy you, Mister DeFranco. I couldn't imagine being your position, trying to sort a worthy contender out of this rabble. You've got the other Reiko, the one nobody cares about. A Belly fetish Queen. Alaina, who I won't insult because I respect my elders, and Diana, the only decent challenge here, except that she's going senile and forgetting things. We all expect that from Alaina, but her? This is what happens when you've been dropped on your head a few times to many.

Such a mess, but you've brought this on yourself, Mister DeFranco. If you booked me more often I'd have already destroyed most, if not all of these wanna-be's, has beens and pretenders. There would be no issue.

But since you didn't do that, I have a suggestion. Every wrestler who wishes to be number one contender should fight all the others, round robin style. The woman with the most wins in the end, is number one contender. There. Fair and equitable.

Or you could just skip all that and name ME number one contender, because I said so. "

Watching as the chaos unfolded, it wouldn't be long before things seemed to really pick up and peak the Italian's interest, with the management itself stepping up. Her smile only grew; intervention on behalf of the actual company management seemed to make the entire charade somewhat more weighty. Some in the crowd were even starting to discuss if one of the women now here and involved was the actual number one contender...

With all the time in the world to deal with past opponent Kyoko Akan, no hostility or anything resembling it towards best friend Alaina Sanders, and the other two women who cared to join them thus far either leaving as quickly as they came, or now being too busy with their own arguments, a fair point that Diana could not complain to given her and Reiko had already exchanged heat, Diana's attention now turned to the new figure upon the ramp. No, not the confused individual who had just appeared, and neither the member of high management. Albeit, she suspected her outright ignorance towards Dan might impede her in the future.

Especially given she had started the whole thing.

Stepping past Alaina, gently raising her hand as to slide past her non-aggressively, and outright smashing her shoulder into Reiko's own, Diana extended a hand as the other with the microphone came to her mouth, pointing at the girl that whilst now was offering creative solutions, at first opted to throw outright shade.

"Hey. Don't be fucking shy.." Muttering with a smirk, her finger pointing now right at Isa. "Come on down."
