Diamond in the rough: Deanna Duncan vs Hanabi Kawai

Hanabi thpught that she had Deanna good, she even thought that she would be able to keep her like this for a long time, but alas, she still was naive and new to the world of wrestling, and she had to understand that some people don't get down so easily. She suddenly felt the silver-haired girl force a turn in both of their bodies, effectively making it harder for the keijo player to keep the hold on her foe's neck.

"Ouch! Hey! Stop that!" She complained about the multiple strikes she felt directed to her thighs. More sooner than later she let Deanna go, then she would stand up, and depending on the quickness of the diamond, she would decide to let her guard down for a counterattack, or keep it up just to defend herself from her opponent's retaliation.

With a roll, Deanna had managed to get atop of Hanabi and began to pound down on her opponent's thighs until the headscissors was released! After Hanabi let her go, the Diamond would stay on her knees for a moment, shaking her head clear and then stood up, scowling. "Woah, way too close there. I didn't love the headscissors. I mean, I love the legs. Good job on those. Really appreciate them. But still, ow. No more of that. Because then I'll need to hit you. Like so," rambled Deanna as she approached Hanabi.

She would then go for a low kick, attempting to kick out the shin of her foe to make her fall to one knee. Then, the platinum-haired girl would follow through with a flipping neckbreaker, hoping to take down Hanabi and get some momentum!

Hanabi saw Deanna rising up, she decided to let her do so, against her better judgement. She heard her blabbering on and on again, it started to grow on her, the other girl's natural hyperactivity. "Oh, you like my legs? Then you're gonna love this!" She would try to sprint towards her and go on for an attack, but she found that action interrupted when the white-haired girl made her lose her footing with a kick to the shin.

Before she knew how to counterattack, Deanna made her flip, and then slammed her down in a Neck Breaker, making the purple girl gasp in shock. That sudden change of phase was more than enough to get Hanabi out of her element. She would try to stand back up, but it would be a very slow process due to the effectiveness of the Diamond's smash.

Deanna Duncan had nailed the rolling neckbreaker, smoothly sliding to one knee after hitting the move, a gleeful smile on her face. "Oh yeah baby! Dee's got it!" shouted the platinum-haired wonder, standing back up to her feet. "Hey, take your time. Really. We don't get paid by the hour, remember," teased the Diamond, eyeing her opponent briefly before running past her to the ropes.

Duncan would then rebound off the ropes and then make a leap towards Hanabi as she slowly began to try getting up. If successful, she would then use her back as a springboard to leap up and then attempt to come down onto the back of Kawai's head with a leg drop, hoping to keep her down and continue to punish her!

Her vision was still very blurred, she heard the ecos of what she guessed to be Deanna's trash talk. Hanabi made an effort in getting up to her feet, she suddenly felt a breeze of wind go besides her. She turned her head to see her opponent running towards the ropes, and then towards her. Her eyes dilated when she saw this, a rise of adrenalin made her recover from the dizziness. She tried to duck the diamond when she tried to jump her.

Hanabi knew that Deanna would try to attack her once again, so she decided to attack first. She would use all the power of her legs to propel herself backwards. In the air, the keijo player would use her old moves and stick her rear towards her foe, aiming to hit Deanna in the head with a hip attack and bring the both of them down to the ground with it.

The Diamond was making her sprint, a plan in mind, ready to lay it in on Hanabi, when all of a sudden she got a face full of butt, smashing her right in the face before she could attempt any of it and sending her collapsing to the mat. With a groan, Deanna held her face before rolling onto her front. "Oh... come on..."

She pressed her nose delicately, seemingly checking to see if it was bleeding when her partner Cheyenne Black Rock chimed in. "She hit you with her behind."

With a growl of annoyance, Deanna brought herself to her hands and knees and snapped back at her. "I know she did!" exclaimed the platinum-haired girl, still holding her nose carefully, leaving herself open.

Hanabi felt how her attack connected with Deanna's face, that was good for her. She crashed down towards the canvas butt-first, however, she used to do that a lot from her Keijo training, so no major stuff about that. The diamond, on the other hand, she seemed to take the attack rather badly. The pink haired girl raised up, and she saw how her rival was talking to the woman that accompanied her to the ring. They seemed close, but that wasn't the time to think of that.

"Sorry for having to resort to that, but you know how it goes..." Hanabi said to Deanna as she got close to her, and then she started to drag her towards the center of the ring. Once there, she would try to grab both of the silver haired girls legs with her arms and then lower her hip down to bring the pain to her. She wanted to make Deanna suffer the Boston Crab.

"Also, sorry for this..." She apologized again, mainly because she already knew how bad that hold could be...

Deanna was about to get to her feet when her opponent suddenly grabbed her by the legs. With a yelp, Deanna wriggled and tried to get away as her foe was clearly rolling her for another move. "Hey, hey, hey, no, stop!" exclaimed Duncan, not wanting to get into whatever hold this would turn into.

Much to her disappointment, Hanabi had managed to lock her into the Boston Crab, making Deanna groan out in pain. She allowed herself a moment of suffering before scanning her location in the ring. Then, she would attempt to crawl towards the nearest ring rope, inching closer and closer and hoping she might be able to manage a rope break and get freed from her debilitating hold!

Hanabi was punishing Deanna with her Boston Crab, with the intention of wearing her down before starting to dominate her for real. She wasn't used to play with her opponents, but she learned something about wrestling from seeing the matches and this was that the public was here for a spectacle, and she was more than ready to deliver one for them. The pink haired girl started to notice how the white haired fighter was starting to crawl towards the ropes, no doubt in hopes of making a rope break. "No you won't!" She claimed while she builded up the pressure of her hold by almost sitting on her back. She wasn't able to stop her enemies advances. Soon enough she was ordered to release her legs.

"Dammit!" She whispered to herself in frustration while she released her captive from her torture. She went to the other side of the ring in order to give Deanna a breather from all of that punishment. Hanabi was looking at the Diamond as she made her recovery, not intending on attacking her until she made her own move. "I hope that I didn't drained all of that energy of yours with that little hold, no hard feelings, right?" She asked in an innocent tone that was obviously faked and with the intention of triggering the ashen-haired girl to strike back at her.

Deanna was cringing as she kept trying to get to the ring ropes. She reached out, inching closes and closer, eventually swiping madly at the ring ropes in an attempt to get a hand on them until finally with a yell of effort, she was able to grab hold of them and get her rope break! With a long, extended groan of pain, she put her free hand on her back when she was released and then used the rope to tug herself forward and rest herself on it. Cheyenne had moved around the ring to face Deanna again, a small smile on her face. "You're losing, Deanna," she offered unhelpfully.

"I know, Cheyenne!" yelled Duncan back. The platinum-haired girl winced as she used the ropes to yank herself back up to her feet, leaning against the ropes when she was upright, forcing a smile when she faced Hanabi. "What? No, nooooo... totally fine. Just a little ache, little pain. I've had worse. Still got a lot left in the tank," she said, forcing as much false positivity about it as she could at her before waving her over. "How about maybe you just come over here, instead. Not because of the pain or anything, but really just... you know, it'd be fun, maybe. Or cool? Cool if you just didn't make me walk over there." She grinned awkwardly despite her pain, simply waiting against the ropes. It appeared they were at a stalemate, but Duncan was clearly in no hurry to get back into it now.
