Petra A/Tina A - To Meet Ones Betters

"I am hoping for success!" Petra roared back at Tina, almost before the gal had even finished her query. Whilst Petra had to admit that there was fun to be had in the world of wrestling, and more than ample chances to test ones physical ability, Petra couldn't deny that the thought of being at the top of LAW in one form or another was what fuelled her.

"I would be liking a title, some day. Or I would be liking a big tournament win. I may like to have both..!" She'd proudly proclaim, as she made her way to her locker.

"If ya keep at it and work with the kind of enthusiasm I have seen today you are gonna be a champ Petra!" Tina said with a laugh as she got herself dressed in her twonoiece tiger print ring attire.

Tina looked over at Petra once she was fully changed and nodded. "Damn ya got some.power in that stunning figure of yours I can tell! It seems like you already have a nice scouting report from seeing my matches and you are a mystery to me. Do you think you are gonna win today?" Tina asked with a smile and raised eyebrow.

Being somewhat devoid of training attire, though mostly out of preference in becoming solely proficient in wrestling in her main garb, Petra swung the locker shut as she jumped on the spot.

With Flats

"I am being very ready. I will see if I will win though!" Petra roared, confident but not cocky, and more than aware of the fact that she was facing one of the best in her division. Even if it was a spar, Petra could not expect to be left off easily, and even though defeat was near enough assured, there was much learning to be done from the experience alone.

"That is what I like to hear! Don't hold back, throw everything you have at me I want to see what you can do." Tina said with a smile. "I figure we can go standard rules and use an honor system for counts, rope breaks and the like." Tina said with a smile as the two made their way towards the practice ring at the gym. Tina was looking forward to this. It reminded her of meeting Diana Accera only now Tina wasn't the raw rookie full of steam. It was funny how things came full circle and part of her wishes Diana was here to see this.

"Ya know Alaina would probably love to meet you and see what you can do too. Do you want to set up a phone or something to take the video so we can use it for training down the road?" Tina asked as she looked over at Petra. The two women were about to climb in the ring so Tina figured it was worth asking. As much as she hated it Alaina had drilled into her the practice of watching match tapes of herself and opponents for at least an hour a day during heavy workouts and at least two and a half on rest days.

Petra nodded at the prospect of going full on, and at the standard rules set before her. She couldn't imagine holding back even in a spar, and she always aimed to complete said spars in the same way she would her matches; standard rules in that sense, was all she could even consider.

"I know of this...Alaina!" Petra nodded again, as the two came ring side with the Greek extending her arm. "She is a very big lady. I would be scared fighting her in the ring." She'd say with a hum. "I am being okay. The experience is learning enough...!" With that, she saw to slide her firm figure onto the ropes, before springing into the ring itself.

Tina smiled and nodded. "Yeah, Alaina is a big lady all right. She moves pretty well for a 45 year old though!" Tina added with a laugh as she crouched low, watching Petra. "Okay.... ready.... ding ding ding!" Tina said to simulate the ringing of a bell. The tigress waited a moment before lunging in, trying to step up to Petra and lock up in a grapple. Tina was trying to see how strong Petra was and how well she used her footwork and technique coupled with that strength. Tina wasn't pushing back too much against Petra but she was also giving it everything to stonewall any attempt Petra would make to guide Tina back to the corner or against the ropes.

Petra's look turned to one of surprise, given that Tina had mentioned her mentors age. Petra wasn't the sort to judge on physical ability, nor on build, nor on age. But she found Alaina's skill at said age to be most impressive, nonetheless!

Grinning as Tina raised her hand to the invisible bell, Petra adopted a form much like the Tigress. Ever keen for a lock-up, though mostly out of interest of feeling out her foe as opposed to rushing in to show what power she had, Petra raised her legs back. Unaware that she and Tina would be adopting the same tactic, both strong bodied women held one another in the clinch, yet simply did not push!

Their grapple firm yet far from testing, as Petra found herself circling with Tina in amidst the hold-up, as if the two were elk that had collided at the antlers!

Tina had found the two locked up but not going anywhere. Her curiosity had gotten the best of her so the tigress would pounce. Tina shift gears and suddenly thrust forward trying to push Petra backward! Tina was aiming to use her strength to push Petra against the ropes behind her instead of the corner. Once she felt Petra against the ropes Tina would keep hold but roll back, attempting to transition from showing off her strength to monkey flipping Petra overhead! Tina wanted to show off a bit, and she wanted to see how well Petra would bounce back. This was going to be an interesting spar all right. Tina was still a bit amused by her role in this as well. She could remember that not too long ago she was the one approaching veterans for help in between the ropes.

Petra opted to move with Tina rather than against her, as the confidence from the Tigress in pushing Petra to the ropes knowing full well she would spring off them near enough told the Greek something else was quickly coming. With her assumptions right, rather than try to pull back or otherwise as she fell into Tina and her extended leg, Petra rolled with the motion. Tucking her shoulders and near enough pushing off the ground willingly, Petra hoped to turn what could have been a rough landing on the canvas into a fluid roll, one that would leave her on her knees after turning to be on them!

Tina flipped Petra but this didn't go at all how she had hoped! Petra pretty much stuck the landing leaving Tina to wonder how she reacted so quickly to pull that off. She was a rookie but must have wrestled elsewhere to have more experience than Tina imagined or she was just incredibly talented naturally, much moreso than Tina was without a certain level of experience or training. Tina tried to get up to her feet as quickly as Petra was knowing that she would have to do much more if she were going to challenge Petra at all.

Tina moved in again this time sending a couple quick mid-kicks alternating her left leg and right leg! She was pretty sure Petra would block this but Tina was hoping to catch her with some false confidence before exploding at her for a clothesline!
