Yuki Onna vs. Michiko Shimizu - Breaking Momentum

Yuki was certain that Michiko was winded after she took the double axe handle from her earlier, and after that, she sent her running towards the corner with an Irish whip. Seeing that her opponent was at the corner, with her chest sitting atop the post and her arms draped over the ropes, Yuki would then take this opportunity to take a running start, gaining momentum for herself as she would run towards her opponent before launching herself up towards her, looking to drive both her feet into Michiko's back with a running dropkick.

Yuki would then land onto her back, and she was certain that the damage was done if she was successful in landing her dropkick. She needed to keep up with her momentum, making sure that Michiko would not be able to fight back with her relentless assault.

Bent over the turnbuckle as she was, Michiko, although on her feet, was still in a daze, and she had little capacity to react. Her fans began to cheer for her, urging for her to get back up and to keep fighting, or to look behind her, as they noticed her opponent get into position to punish her further. However, Michiko was barely lucid, and she couldn't come to in time - soon enough, Yuki charged into her from behind, her feet slamming into her unprepared back!

"KYAAAH-!!" Michiko screamed, her back arching as she buckled from the move. She wobbled on her feet, her balance compromised. But now, she had been shown a reminder, however brutal, that she needed to get her head back in the game. At the same time as Yuki, her thoughts were going through where she should take her strategy, though in her case her thoughts were the reverse. If Yuki needed to keep up her momentum to hold an edge over Michiko, the lavendar-haired rookie would need to break her opponent's if she wanted to be able to overpower her before her speed and striking prowess got the better of her! She would have to ready herself to counter Yuki's next move - assuming, of course, she could recenter herself in time!

Landing her dropkick right into Michiko's back, Yuki landed on her back before quickly pushing herself back up in order to continue with her assault. Once she was on her feet, she would approach her opponent, looking to grab her from behind and wrap her arms around her waist. Dragging her away from the corner, bringing her to the center of the ring, she would make sure that her hold around her opponent's waist was firm before attempting to hoist her up, throwing her over her head with a German suplex!

If successful, the suplex would send Michiko landing on the back of her shoulders and head, and upon landing, she would get herself on her tiptoes, bridging her own body for a bridging pin, in which her opponent's shoulders would be pressed against the mat.

Between being thrown into the turnbuckle and taking a powerful dropkick straight to her spine, Michiko was having trouble collecting herself after the brunt of Yuki's assault. Still dizzied, she tried to shake herself back to her senses - but Yuki was already on the move, and the next thing Michiko felt was the blue-haired woman grabbing her from behind and giving her a sharp jerk to get her back to the center of the ring! Michiko tried her best to keep her balance, but she couldn't keep track of her own footing - and, before long, Yuki had swung her overhead, slamming her head and shoulders straight down into the canvas with a ring-shaking thud!

Some voices in the crowd rang out with cheers as Yuki went for the first pin attempt of the match. The referee, too, was getting into place, and began to count. "One!" Michiko, however, wasn't going down that easily! Sucking in a breath, she summoned the strength she needed and jerked up with her hips, kicking her leg to try and escape from her predicament!

Wrapping her arms around Michiko's waist from behind, dragging her away from the corner before throwing her over with a German suplex, Yuki went for the bridging pin, getting herself on her tiptoes as she did that. Even so, Michiko managed to kick out after one, and Yuki would then release her, letting her fall to her side as she would push herself up. Knowing that she needed to keep up with her momentum, Yuki would get herself back onto her feet before moving towards her opponent, planning to grab onto her and pull her up.

Once she was up, Yuki would then attempt to hit her opponent right at her upper chest with a forearm smash, hoping to knock the wind out of her and to leave her disoriented and stunned. This was a preparation for her to hit her opponent with a much bigger attack after this. She needed to ensure that her opponent would have trouble fighting back in order to start using a much bigger move.

Michiko might have been stunned, still trying to come back to her senses after Yuki had led the momentum, but the call of the ref was all she needed to remind herself it was time to get her head back in the game. Shaking herself, she kicked up her legs to swing herself out of the position, and bringing herself back to the mat. Soon enough, Yuki too had risen, pulling Michiko up along with her as the two women returned to heir feet.

"I'm not...going down that easily-!" she huffed, maintaining a defiant attitude even in the face of danger. But although Michiko might have bought herself some time in getting out of the pin, Yuki still had an edge, and she was quick to take the momentum back all the same. Without the proper time to retaliate, Michiko was left open for Yuki to follow up on her advantage, and that was an opportunity the blue-haired girl took, slamming her forearm into Michiko's breastbone! She let out a yelp as the blow knocked her back, her ponytail swinging in an arc as her head was kicked back. Michiko grit her teeth, trying to bear through being knocked about by her opponent's attack. Without the time to gain her footing, and still caught up in Yuki's grasp, Michiko was indeed open to further punishment.

Smashing her forearm into Michiko's upper chest, Yuki could see that she still retained her momentum, and she would make sure to not waste this opportunity as she would extend her arm out before draping it over her opponent's upper chest, just below her neck. She would then bring her foot just behind her opponent's legs, and with a push of her arm and a sweep of her leg, she would attempt to take her opponent down with an o-soto-gari, also known as STO.

If she managed to take Michiko down with the move, she would then proceed to perform a standing elbow drop, in which she would fall backwards after her opponent hit the mat so that she could drive her elbow right into her opponent's belly, knocking the wind out of her, weakening her even more.

Coming off the momentum of Yuki's forearm strike, Michiko's upper body bucked backward, causing her sizeable bust to bounce in the process. Yuki certainly had control now, and she wasn't about to relinquish it any time soon. Now she had thrown her arm around Michiko's chest and shoulders before she kicked at her leg from behind, sweeping Michiko off her footing as she let out a gasp! Michiko went falling backwards, plummeting towards the canvas below her!

As she was falling, however, Michiko realized the predicament she was in, and she reminded herself she couldn't afford to keep taking hits like this. If Yuki held the advantage, Michiko was going to have to overtake her in order to regain control. And all that needed to happen was for her to miss a single opportunity - then, Michiko could pounce. Just moments before she would hit the ground, Michiko's reflexes and survival instincts kicked in, and she threw her body to the side. When she hit the mat, it would be at a roll, as the lavender-haired girl hoped to dodge Yuki's strike and turn the motion of her fall against her!

Yuki planned to bring Michiko down onto the mat with an STO, but before she could bring her down, her opponent managed to slip away before her body could touch the mat, and Yuki had to deal with the momentum of her attack. Tucking her chin in, she would do a front roll before ending up onto her knees. This way, she had avoided hurting herself, allowing her to keep up with her momentum.

Still, with Michiko escaping from her grasp, she somehow lost track of her, and she would need a few seconds to see where she was. While it might be brief, this would make her virtually defenseless before her opponent, provided that she could take advantage of this.

Michiko couldn't avoid being taken to the mat by Yuki's move. She was going to have to afford the blue-haired girl that one. But she still had it in her to get herself out of the way, hoping to leave Yuki to come down onto the canvas and turn the force of her elbow drop against her. Thus far, Yuki had been pressing the momentum. But that momentum could also be used against her - and if Michiko could trip her up, that might be all she needed to gain control.

As she rolled up onto her side, however, Michiko bore witness to the fact that things hadn't worked out fully according to plan. Yuki might have gone down, but she was able to tuck her chin at the last minute, riding off her own momentum to avoid injury and get back up on her knees! The crowd cheered her on for managing to reverse Michiko's own reversal with her quick thinking and agility. Even Michiko had to concede some admiration for such a move, as she looked up at Yuki with a smile. But she was still in this to win the match - and she wasn't going to let any fancy tricks get in the way of that!

"That was good...but I'm not done yet!" Michiko said, as she too picked herself up to her feet. There, she would go back into the ropes, leaning her back against them to draw on their spring - and from there, she hoped to catapult herself towards Yuki, where, in coming closer to her, she would raise a knee in an attempt to slam it into her jaw. Yuki might have managed to avoid taking more punishment, but the flow of her moves had still been broken. That was a window that gave Michiko the time to strike!
