The agile pretty boy vs the queen of spears (Torra shinjiro vs jade urushi)

Torra noded when she said perhaps and then ran towards her when she tried to waist lock him. He aimed to give her stomach a running knee attack!

Her waist lock attempt was thwarted, and Jade got a knee to the stomach for her troubles. She stumbled backwards, clutching her aching belly, but kept an eye on her foe. No doubt someone like him would waste little time in letting her recover.

She steeled herself for what he might throw at her next. She needed to make a decisive move. She readied herself to try and counter what he planned to go for next, but kept trying to think ahead of what else she can do to get the advantage.

Torra was pretty happy that his attacks were working, but he won't stop so soon. He ran at her for a punch to her pretty face.

Jade thanked herself for her preparedness in dealing with him. Watching him closely allowed her to realize when he was coming in for a punch to the face. As he came in, she would try to parry the strike with her hands turn the move into an armbar, in her favor.

Assuming that was successful, she would try to bring him down to the canvas with it. It was looking like she was going to need to find a way to immobilize him if she wanted any change to deal some real damage here. That wasn't really her style, but it looked like she was going to have to adapt if she wanted any chance of winning.

Torra thought he had her but nope she she countered with a Armbar and he fell down with her. His hands was between her legs and her legs were on his body and she had a tight grip on it so he couldn't escape, but her legs felt..... good.

If Jade had known what was going through her opponent's head right now, she probably would have been disgusted. But she didn't, nor did she need to. For now, she was focused on keeping him immobilized. With his arm and body now in her control, she would maneuver him onto his front, while kneeling on his back and wrenching his arm backwards.

Should this work out, she would keep his captured arm tight backwards with one arm, while sending strikes to the back of his head with her left.

Torra struggled a bit but soon she moved him up and put her knee on his back and pulled on his arm while giving blows on his back of his head!

After a few blows Torra was thinking of a way to escape. But her arm was tightly on his arm.... That's It! His other arm was free!! He tried to hit her with his free hand, it wasn't ment to hurt it was more of a distraction, if it worked he could soon roll out and get out of her hold.

As Jade continued to pull his arm in directions that it was not meant to go, Torra was looking for an escape method. It was looking pretty bleak for him right now, and he clearly was going to be in trouble, if he wasn't already, if things didn't change soon.

He attempted to bat a Jade with his free arm. Sure enough, it did, in fact, distract her. She held on to his current arm with one hand as she attempted to grab his free and flailing one with the other. She was hoping to now turn this hold into some kind of double armbar/armbreaker while she continued her sit on his back.

Of course, it would take her a moment to finally grab a hold of his other arm with the way it was flailing around, which meant that she was only holding his trapped arm with one hand during that period. He might be able to take advantage of that small window of opportunity, if he was clever enough.

Torra soon saw his window of oppertunity! He would squirm and eventually roll so she would fall off of his back and he quickly got up. "Whew close one." He said playfuly.

Jade's moment of distraction costed her the advantage she had. She cursed herself for that. It may have only been her first match, but she prided herself on being an experienced warrior. Mistakes like this were inexcusable.

She resharpened her focus. She wouldn't make the same mistake twice. She knew she hurt him bad with that last hold, no matter how short it may have been. She needed to capitalize on that.

As quick as she could, she would attempt to lunge at him once more. She would go for a half-spear of sorts. It wasn't snap-you-in-half strong like her normal ones. No, this one was meant to get him down to the canvas. The decrease in power gave her a larger accuracy and range with which to trap him in.
