Davina Kai vs Alyssa Monroe

[Faeron]

Davina let out a gasp as she was struck hard in the hard. She fell to a knee as the cobwebs began to clutter her mind, an effect that would be further stacked upon when Alyssa grabbed Davina's head and struck her in the face with a knee strike. This time Kai's eyes clouded over as Davina fell onto the mat, dazed and in pain.

[Devastated]

The knee strike hit a bulls-eye as she watched Davina then fall onto her back, smirking as she saw that the blonde would crank her neck before she would attempt to take advantage of that dazed state that the karateka was in right now. Looking to reach down and grab onto Davina's right leg. She'd attempt to lift it up a bit off the canvas, before she'd spring into action.

Looking to drop down onto her rear and snap her legs around the thigh of that leg, while her arms would try and force that ankle and shin in under her right armpit, looking to lock in a kneebar submission hold on Davina!

[Faeron]

Davina was trying to shake away the dizziness from the earlier knee strike. She was brought back from her daze when Alyssa dropped on her knee, causing the karateka reel in pain. It was only made worse when Alyssa locked on the kneebar submission from her position, showcasing her technical ability.

"Ngh!" Davina groaned and the referee was by her side with nagging questions if she wanted to tap. Davina shook her head furiously and turned head head to see that the ropes weren't to far behind. With as much strength as she could muster, Davina started to pulled the both of them towards the ropes, gritting through much of the pain while hoping to force the break.

[Devastated]

Alyssa locked in her knee bar submission hold as she began to bend and wrench that leg at those knee joints, her own legs wrapping around Davina's to keep her under the control of the Brutish Brawler. The blonde would see how Davina started to groan and try and pull herself towards the ropes.

Knowing that she probably wouldn't be able to keep this hold in for too long, she knew that she would have to crank up the pressure as they were being dragged towards the ropes, looking to put as much of a wrench on that knee as she possibly could.

[Faeron]

Davina could feel time slowing down the more she was locked in the knee bar. The pain was excruciating and despite her best efforts, Davina couldn't break out of the hold using her own strength. After what felt like minutes, Davina finally managed to claw her way and grab the bottom rope to force the break. With the extra leverage, Davina shifted her body and started to use her free leg to slam down on Alyssa's arms with the heel.

[Devastated]

With the leg of Davina trapped in her hold and the blonde working that limb over, it felt good, it felt as if she was making very good progress in wearing her opponent down. Though it seemed as if Davina managed to grab onto the ropes, Alyssa wasn't gonna keep a hold of that leg too long, maybe release it after the first or second count as the referee came in to start it.

Though when Davina decided to use her free leg to kick at Alyssa's arms, the blonde was quick to release the karateka, rolling away from her as she would rub her arm a little and rise up to her feet.

[Faeron]

"Damn it!" Davina cursed under her breath as the hold was finally released, but she was already feeling the damage to her leg. With a deep breath, she used the ropes to pull her back onto a vertical base. Shaking her left leg, Davina moved towards Alyssa to once again lock up.

[Devastated]

Alyssa would roll her shoulders to keep herself limber as she would see Davina Kai pull herself up to her feet and then move away from the ropes towards her. The Brutish Brawler would smirk, moving forward towards the martial artist but she wasn't about to lock up again, instead she would try and dive in under those arms and aimed to tackle at that base of Davina.

Looking to down the fellow lightweight on her back as she would then quickly try and jump up and straddle the woman's midsection. Trying to get into a good position for a ground and pound before she'd attempt to start throwing bombs aimed at the face of the karateka.

Davina was still reeling from the damage done to her leg, unable to keep herself standing when Alyssa tackled her onto the mat. However, Davina wasn't planning to let Alyssa gain the advantage again and quickly hooked her arms around the blonde's head to try and lock in a guillotine choke.

[Devastated]

Alyssa's tackle worked like a charm, but the problem was in what happened after her tackle, as the arm of Davina snapped around her head and trapped her in a guillotine choke hold. Grunting out at the pain, Alyssa would quickly bring her hands up to Davina's arm as she would start to try and work that arm off of her, trying to push and prod on the arm of the Karateka in order to try and pull it off of her neck.
