Viper Hoshiwara vs. Pulse [D]

Viper stepped back, putting back some distance between herself and Pulse as she nonchalantly dusted herself off. Even if the doctor had gotten out, this would only be a minor setback - she would be coming back at her just as hard in time. She just needed that to happen.

She narrowed her eyes towards Pulse, watching as she picked herself back up, but besides that she stood perfectly still, lying in wait and analyzing her opponent's moves so that she would better be able to counter given the chance. Viper watched as Clarissa raised her leg - but rather than stand and take it, she shot her hands up towards her face, trying to catch her foe by the ankle before the blow landed to save herself while also getting control over her!

After making her way back to her feet, Pulse was still left with a woman who clearly knew what she was doing and had a clear capacity to hurt others, meaning that Pulse had to fight back soon, or she'd be in a lot of trouble! So as soon as she got back to her feet, the superhero wrestler would throw a foot out right at the green haired woman's face for a quick superkick, only to have her foot caught on it's path to her foe's face, Viper stopping her kick in it's tracks!

"Uugh... can you like, not?" Pulse complained as she found herself stuck on one foot, Viper holding her other foot hostage as the doctor thought of a backup plan! And she found one quickly, as she would attempt to suddenly leap up and throw her free foot right into Viper's temple, trying to stun her with a quick enziguri!

Viper had barely even needed to move to execute her next trick. The green-haired woman was standing perfectly still in front of Pulse, watching and waiting for the doctor to try and come at her - and when she saw that she had raised her leg for a superkick, all Viper needed to do was to hold out her hand to catch it and halt it in place. Without a word, she shrugged her shoulders and yawned, writing off her opponent's offense as though it meant nothing to her.

Even Clarissa's comeback was lame, and Viper wouldn't even dignify it with a response that was much better. "Eh. Nah," she muttered, still holding onto Clarissa's foot. From here, Viper was about to push back on it to transition into an ankle lock, but Pulse had her covered. Before Viper could act, she flipped up with her other leg to kick her in the side of the head! This time, it proved more effective, as Viper let go of her foot, staggering backwards as her hands went up to hold her head.

Leaping up and swinging her foot right at Viper's head, Pulse managed to connect with the woman holding her leg and send her stumbling backwards, Pulse finally getting in a bit of offense against her foe. And once she had connected with the strike, Pulse would push herself back up to her feet, knowing that she had to act fast in order to get Viper off guard and continue to hurt her!

So as soon as she was able, the superhero would turn and rush towards her and leap up, aiming a dropkick right at Viper's face in order to hit her once more and fully floor her!

Coming off of a kick to the head, Viper found herself winded, going stumbling backward and clutching her aching temples. It seemed Clarissa had more fight left in her than the green-haired woman had given her credit for, as she had managed to force a pause in her seemingly relentless assault. Viper wouldn't let it hold her back, though, as she began to straighten herself. She narrowed one eye towards Clarissa, wanting to make it abundantly clear that she still held plenty of ire towards her.

But Pulse didn't stop, as she charged back towards Viper, jumping up to hit her with a dropkick! The breath was forced out of Viper's lungs as she was thrown off her feet, landing against the mat on her back.

Leaping up and thrusting her feet out, Pulse was able to slam her silent rival with a dropkick straight to the chest, sending the green haired girl flying backwards and landing on her back with a thud, getting a good bit of offense in for the doctor! And Pulse wasn't entirely done yet, as she quickly made her way back to her feet and walked over to her downed opponent, a somewhat bored expression on her face despite the match being in full swing, approaching Viper's legs!

"Alright, let's see if this gets any reaction out of you..." Pulse mused, grabbing Viper's legs and setting one of her ankles behind the other, before slipping one of her own legs in between. And after tying up Viper, Pulse would suddenly throw herself backwards and properly lock in the hold, getting her opponent in an indian deathlock!

As she lifted her head from the mat, Viper's eyes began to narrow in a piercing glare as she locked her eyes on the approaching Clarissa. Even in her downed state, she wasn't out of the game as far as she was concerned. And, of course, Viper didn't particularly care about anything. Certainly not this upstart who seemed to think she was worthy of going up against her. That constant apathy, by the looks of it, was something Pulse had picked up on, as she let slide a snide remark about Viper's stone-faced demeanor as she turned her over in preparation to put down her hold.

Viper grumbled a little to herself, but ultimately said nothing, not wanting to give Clarissa the sort of satisfaction she was after. That being said, that upstart wasn't doing half bad a job either! Viper suddenly felt her legs entrapped as Clarissa leaned back to pull up on her jaw, drawing a growl from her as she struggled back and forth beneath her weight. All the same, she bit her lip, trying to bear it. If Clarissa wanted to claim the upper hand in overcoming her steely resolve, Viper would hold out as long as she could to keep that from happening!

Trapping Viper's legs with a smirk on her face, Pulse would quickly bridge backwards and yank on the quiet girl's chin, wrenching hard in order to strain her as much as the doctor was able in the hold! The doctor would do her best to try and torture Viper's back in return for the damage that she had inflicted on her earlier, wrenching hard on the hold in an effort to make Viper cry out in pain!

"And I thought I wasn't that talkative... you really are tight lipped though, eh?" Pulse questioned nonchalantly as she continued to wrench on the hold, torturing Viper with the submission!

Despite Viper's best attempts to stay quiet, Clarissa still had her locked in good, and she growled as she looked back at her at the corner of her eye even if she kept her teeth clenched to focus herself. She would, at least, let something slip out, but it wasn't what Pulse would be looking for, as she hissed a low, barely audible growl of "Shut...up..." However, Viper couldn't hold on forever, and the pressure was steadily building. Eventually she was forced to let out a groan, wincing from the pain on her back and legs.

But Viper wasn't going to let Pulse get away with this, and she still had some fight in her! From where she was, and with what little range of motion she was afforded, Viper began to struggle in place, hoping to loosen the hold on her if only by a little. It was the best she could do.

With Viper struggling in her submission hold, Pulse was able to get a moment to properly catch her breath and recover a bit from the offense that the green haired woman had gotten in on her! And she would be able to get in a bit of chiding at her foe's expense as well, finally drawing some words from her mostly mute opponent, an angry hiss signifying that the woman on the receiving end of the hold was none to happy to be there.

"Well, you could just tap... would probably save both of us a hassle." Pulse responded in a pretty lackluster tone, though she did find herself slightly shifted from her hold, Viper's wiggling making it just a bit harder to hang on!
